One of my greatest joys while traveling to new city’s is to find high quality craft coffee shops. I’m so grateful to have found Duck Rabbit! The coffee is top notch and some of the best cold brew I have ever had. Their espresso was phenomenal too! The coffee flavor was bright, clean, and brewed perfectly. The space was beautiful and minimal and the staff was super friendly and service was fast. If you are in Ohio city (or honestly anywhere in Cleveland), I’d highly recommend this place! Definite 5 stars!

Great little spot to get caffeinated and off your feet for a few minutes. The avocado toast was delish. Enjoyed perusing the art on the wall and the selection of design magazines. Now if only there was a larger pastry selection, I’d really be in heaven.

Hands-down the friendliest coffee experience I’ve ever had!… or at least in the last few years LOL. Lamar was so welcoming and hospitable and took the time to get to know me. Loved that the Matcha latte was actually hand whisked and not just some generic mix. Beautiful space, very welcoming and plenty of seating. The catered scones are fantastic! Nice and fluffy!I see you Ohio City ;-)

Amazing coffee shop!!! This is the real deal when it comes to craft coffee. They have beans that you won’t find anywhere else in town and they’re extremely professional when it comes to pouring fancy latte art. My wife got a mocha with oat milk and I got a latte latte with oat milk and even though they don’t have flavors for their lattes they have 2 coffee bean choices to choose from.The staff is super friendly and helpful with all our questions and they even gave us free cute little duck rabbit stickers! It’s so sad they do not currently have indoor dining because this is such an awesome place to hang out at with really minimal and modern decor balanced with the old industrial brick building. I cannot wait till coffee places like this start opening up again!The location is great because there’s a Platform Beer extension called “The Lot” across the street so it’s great to grab a coffee and then walk across the street to get really good beer and wings, or a noodle bar diagonally located as well. We will definitely be returning back to Duck Rabbit to get our superior craft coffee fix!

INCREDIBLE Swiss Oatmeal!!Perfect balance of flavors & textures - a great portion for a coffee shop. It seems like everyone is doing the industrial chic thing now. But this place does it right. The coffee is fantastic and they offer a great variety. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Make it a part of your Cleveland trip.

Cute modern coffee shop. My coffee order was a good portion, tasted smooth, and rich. The physical architect, and abundance of house plants gave the shop some nice character without bombarding you with things to look at. Seems like a nice place to meet up with old friends or school work. A little cold inside, but I liked that.

As someone who spends a lot of time in coffee shops, this is the best in Cleveland. Top-shelf drip coffee, beautiful aesthetic, friendly and helpful staff, fast WiFi, and ample seating. If you go there, set aside some time because you’ll want to stay.

I drive 17 minutes from my home in Parma every few weeks for their cappuccino’s. The best! The coffee artists are personable and friendly, and they take the time needed to craft a perfect drink. Maybe one day they’ll have a location in Parma (fingers crossed).Try the Swiss Oatmeal. A heaping helping with so much flavor.

Incredible coffee!I was disappointed when I first came in, finding out that there aren’t any flavoring syrups available, and that overall, it was only more “plain” coffee that was available.I got a cold brew, and I see why they don’t offer syrups: their coffee is literally THAT good on its own.My husband is a black coffee drinker, I am not. I had milk in my cold brew but I probably could’ve had it without. It was so smooth and flavorful. My husband got a pour over, said it was the best one he has ever had. I would’ve been able to drink his pour over black.Seriously, probably the best actual coffee that either of us has had. Can’t wait until our next trip in the area because this will definitely be a staple when we visit Cleveland from now on.

Fabulous breakfast! Avocado toast was generous with lemon zest! All our coffees great! Magazines and art very interesting, plants, ambiance -best of all, met two Obies & a Bryn Mawrter!

Excellent coffee, what else can you say?? They know how to roast the beans and make a perfect cup of deliciousness. They usually have a couple options for pourovers. And lots of bags of coffee to choose from. Definitely worth the trip!! One of the best in Cleveland!

Good coffeeshop... Is this the best coffee in Cleveland? Between this and Rising Star, my Cleveland friends are quite opinionated. But, if you are not from around here and used to a good cup of coffee, well, you get a good cup even in good hostels.Coffee shop is chic but coffee beans are over roasted and you have that bitter aftertaste. I cant tell the difference because once you know the coffee beans are not roasted properly, I dont really count them in good coffee roasters. Like Rising Star, coffee is strong, bold, has good flavor but essentially has a bitter aftertaste instead of the subtlety of a good coffee.Come here for the vibes... makes for good Insta photos. If you are looking for a good coffeeshop to settle, pick any of this of a Rising Star location that works for you. Well, lets say, this wont fly in Seattle. And, in the rest of the world, every street corner will make better coffee.

FANTASTIC pour over!!! Reminded me of my favorite coffee shop in Seattle... It was the expensive cup ($15) but honestly it was so complex, surprising and not what most people experience or expect from coffee. Hats off to duck rabbit and what I will say is HANDS DOWN the best coffee in Cleveland.

Tried to go to duck rabbit coffee today only to find that it isnt actually open. This shouldnt be listed on Google Maps. Update: location is open and the coffee is amazing!

Not impressed. I generally try not to leave negative reviews. I even ‘slept on it’ before typing this out. The $15 pour over I had was interesting, but it was no better than the pour overs I make at home, negating the need to spend so much. My toast was tasty, but somehow not toasted. I’m sorry, but if I ask for toast, I want the bread actually toasted. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Next came the service. I honestly can’t recall the last time I encountered someone as fake and condescending. I hope this isn’t the new norm in coffee houses. I’ll return at some point to try the espresso drinks, but only if I can order ahead on an app and avoid interacting with the person who served me yesterday.

Coffee is coffee. Im a sweet person. Which coffee isnt sweet, thats why theres sugar 😄😄 BUT their coffee designs are adorable!!! Check it out when you get the chance!! Its a small place so there will be a high chance of missing it at first. But good Coffee. ☕☕

Great coffee roaster/shop on the edge of the Flats and next to Forest City Brewing. Not a big space but comfortable and cozy. 3rd wave coffee.

Hands down the best affogato ever. Unbelievably good. Super hip and cute inside but beware, there is little seating. Also got a latte which was absolutely delicious. Best Ive had in a long time!

Nice selection of pourover coffee and whole bean. The staff was very helpful while we decided what to get. Its a little on the expensive side of things but tasty all the same. Not a lot of room to sit and work if your looking to work from a coffee shop. More appropriate for a good cup of coffee to go.

Duck Rabbit Coffee has probably the best espresso Ive ever had. The staff are highly knowledgeable about their trade and very polite. Reed was very helpful and a whizz at his craft. I would highly recommend coming here to grab a coffee to go. I only rated 4 stars, however, because of the lack of seating. The interior isnt all that attractive or welcoming either. It doesnt have a very comfortable or homey feel to it and there isnt much seating for a coffee shop of its caliber. Bottom line, the coffe is amazing, the shop itself is lacking. If they did remodeling and added seating, I would come far more often.

My husband and I got a gift card for our wedding and we decided to check this place out! Duck Rabbit Coffee roasts a Yirgacheffe bean that we both really enjoy. (That particular coffee is actually how we first bonded) Duck Rabbit Coffee roasts some awesome beans, I just wish the seating was a little lower to the ground. (All of the seats are barstools.) We were very excited to find out they were dog friendly though, as we bring our dog everywhere!

The only reason I give duck rabbit 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don’t have flavored syrups (and I’m obsessed with hazelnut flavored everything), but when I tell you this is the best coffee I have ever had, I 1000% mean it. I’m not an avid coffee drinker, but their plain latte with cream and sugar was so rich and delicious. I will absolutely be coming back when I’m in Cleveland again!

I lived around the corner from here when the shop first opened! The staff has always been super friendly, warm and helpful! The coffee is outstanding as well as accompanying drinks like their latte. Being able to order online and have it locally delivered is a godsend! Thank you for being one of my favorite places in Cleveland!

If youre looking for unique, small batch coffee and a really cool place to work/hang out you NEED to visit here. Ever since I first visited this place I have been obsessed with their coffee. Everything tastes amazing (my favorites are their pour overs and affogatos). The atmosphere of the shop is chill and the employees are super friendly and always willing to walk you through their menu to find the perfect coffee for you. Highly recommend you try this place out and dont forget to grab a bag to go!

Its a small coffee shop, but the baristas were very friendly and there was still some nice places to sit down and get some work done. They didnt have any flavors for iced lattes which was a bit of a bummer, but the cold brew was amazing (and I bet the lattes are good too!). Its in a cute little neighborhood as well. Im glad I went here and will definitely be back next time Im in Cleveland!

Amazing!! I cant say enough about this place. We stopped in for soup salad and a sandwich. Classic French cafe with organic ingredients. Impeccably clean with attentive service. The croissants baking smelled so good!

Great coffee, simple atmosphere, perfect location. Every time I bring one of my dogs to gateway, we walk here after for a coffee. They dont mind me bringing my dog in and make my daughter a Kids Coffee (warmed milk). We havent tried them, but they also have a small selection of baked goods and chocolates.

As other reviewers have noted, the service was pretty rude. The internet was convoluted and ended up just not working for my computer at all (meeting bust). The place was crowded, which is not itself a big deal, but the single mens bathroom stall was then an issue. Im not in a hurry to go back.Quintessential coffee shop. Excellent coffee. Chill vibe. Never tasted coffee that tasted that bad in my life . It started with nasty looking milk which the server stated before I wonder that it is normal so I took his word , but after I try it ,even the sugar would not mask the taste and I could not continue my third sip and had to bring it back to the counter and the server did not even bother to ask if something was wrong . I felt so bad that I brought my friend to here as a friend of another friend referred me to this place . I am skeptical how they got theses 5 star review

Amazing coffee! Fresh roasted coffee is unbeatable.... specially in a super cool setting like this place. The Guatemalan cold brew they had made was delicious. The Ethiopian pour over, spectacular. Highly recommended when you are in the Cleveland area.

Loved the employee. She was super sweet and helpful. Latte art was awesome but the coffee was quite bitter and more harsh tasting than I’m used to. The atmosphere was great thought!

Small but well-laid out with bathrooms communally available to the businesses that share this charming, brewery-style building. It is very close to downtown Cleveland yet very low key and has free parking in abundance. Great staff with a small but good menu. Very much worth visiting if you are in town and want a nice step out from the hustle and bustle.

Hands down best coffee in the state

Awesome atmosphere in the city. Only problem was literally within an hour of grabbing a drink at the DR, I was confined to toilet for the next 28 hours. Literally never had the green apple quick steps like this. Massive explosions from my bum and had to install handlebars in the bathroom to hold onto. Probably won’t be going back unless I need to lose a quick 5lbs

Cute little coffee shop. Was impressed that they roast their own beans there. Had a pour over coffee, which at 5$ was a bit pricey, but taste wise it was very smooth and had good deep tones to it and was worth it overall. The young lady working there was also super chil and very friendly.As an added bonus, the lids to their cups are very ergonomic and sip very nicely

Cute atmosphere, they need to turn the heat up in the winter! Too cold for me take off my jacket. I wasnt feeling cozy as I sat drinking my cappuccino. Im giving the 3 star for the initial appearance and the taste of my drink. Didnt appreciate that was served in a paper cup rather a ceramic cup. Paper cup doesnt cut it for a fine quality drink

My go to coffee shop. The workers are super friendly and willing to talk to you about all of their products. Their iced coffee is actually iced aero pressed coffee, and its a super unique cup that I have not had anywhere else here in Cleveland.

Good coffee starts with good beans, and they have that. This is the kind of place you take time to enjoy. Coffees can take a few minutes to come out so relax and take in the sights of all the stuff on the wall and the supplies in the back. I got a pour over coffee and an iced coffee. Both very good. Also had a raspberry cheese Danish, also very good.

Its a neat little place & the service was great. Unfortunately, I didnt care for the coffee (cappuccino)that I got. I will probably give it a chance again & try something else, but I was disappointed. I did enjoy the art that decorated the shop.

Great local, small batch coffee roaster. Havent had anything but great coffee or espresso so far. Industrial chic space provides a nice change from your typical coffee shop. The roaster is inside the café so theres a good chance they may be roasting when you stop in.

The best damn cappuchino in the whole world! Rich, with hints of caramel, so creamy so smooth, and like a brief stolen kiss... just the faintest hint of sweetness! As your spiritual advisor, I suggest that this cappachino could quite possibly be the start of, an almost, perfect day! You may think I exaggerat but...

No cream (whole milk only), no flavored shots such as caramel. Pour over coffee was almost $6. Not much seating. Overall average. Dont understand why there isnt cream though.
