Truly some of the best coffee in Cleveland. We swear by Rising Star and drink it every morning at home. Incredible quality coffee, and the in-cafe experience is always positive. Their barista team is knowledgable, friendly, and willing to give tips on helping you make an expert cup at home.

My friend and I stopped in for an afternoon coffee on a hot august day. I had an iced oat milk latte and my friend had an iced promised land latte. They were both great! The staff was friendly and quick. Great vibe and love to support the local coffee roasters.

I’ve been here twice, the first time was really good. And the second time, I feel like they gave me a milk flavored with coffee for my latte. I paid more than $6 for it.

Really good coffee there are a few local shops selling there beans, really great local roasted beans. The place is great and cozy, I really love that they give mineral water with coffee. Very great coffee. They also offer free wifi. Try some of the other drinks you wont be disappointed, thats for regular latte drinkers.

Lost its charm... even on a slow day. Excellent product, sold and assembled by a chain of baristas operating in Monastic Silence. Business professional service, verbal communication only if and when speaking is required. I am quite valued....for my credit card. Smiles are rare in staff or customers....this is serious business. Sorry, not my cup of tea. I prefer the abundant neighborhood competition where quality offerings are prepared and served in a more welcoming, joyful, atmosphere where most staff knows my name, and if they dont there is still a hello, how are you today.

I got a cup of Light roasted Aeropress coffee. Its good and what I expected. Great selection of Cafe drinks you can get and if youre into a quaint hipster Cafe youll love Rising Star.

The epitome of what a fun, cool (but unpretentious) coffee shop should be in a place like Ohio City. Lots of customers, doors open for nice weather, a funky patio in front to linger at and people watch, solid cappuccino (lots of options but I wish one included skim milk...not available, though)

Worst coffee shop EVER!! Staff was not friendly at all, service was extremely slow and very limited selection of drinks & food. Ordered a bagel and the Barista didn’t even know how to use the toaster waited over 10 minutes and left with an untoasted bagel. Will not be visiting again and definitely do not recommend unless you want average coffee with less than average service.

Cardamom bomb has always been my go to, but that vanilla bean iced oat milk latte was bomb. They always have a pretty decent selection of vegan friendly pastry option by Floressa as well!

Good atmosphere and good service, espresso is very good and their beans to bring home are quite good as well.Unfortunately, in recent visits, I have had some really bad drinks including iced coffee, drip coffee and iced lattes. Prior to March 2021 the Hingetown location had 5 stars from me but I am now dissuaded from returning.

I had an iced oat milk chai latté and it was hands down the best chai Ive ever had!! The workers were super nice and the atmosphere is really cool. Lots of outdoor seating too. Definitely will go back!

As a frequent visitor of Cleveland and a coffee enthusiast, this is by far my favorite coffee stop in town for a quick grab and go cup of joe. The walk up in what looks like an old fire hall is very trendy, the renovations are perfect and it has a great feel. And the coffee is amazing!! I drink mine black, nothing fancy so I get the full flavor. No opinions on specialty stuff, just fantastic straight black coffee!! Yum yum!!Also a cool neighborhood to go for a walk and enjoy your coffee. I do this every time I’m in town. Awesome job guys!! I’m a HUGE fan!!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Cleveland, this has become one of my staples in Ohio City. Tucked just off the main street in hingetown the venue has a lovely garage door that is kept open during nice weather, a bike rack near the entrance, and beautiful architecture. The coffee is quite excellent-- I strongly recommend trying some of unique drinks. Bakery is also above average and is provided by Blackbird Bakery.

The cortado breve and regular cortado is served with a side of sparkling mineral water on a wooden tray during normal times. Visit them on 29th street and make sure to take a picture with the bunny around the block. (Just ask - I cant make this up).

Went early in the morning and did a couple hours of work. Great location and love the big door on a nice day to feel like I was outside with having the direct sunlight hitting me. The bathroom was also nice with a chance table for babys and I love seeing that as I like to bring my kids places and that makes it so my nicer. I will be going back as the coffee and service was also wonderful! My only complaint is that a refill on my cup of coffee cost the same as my first cup of coffee.

The coffee here is top tier. I lived in seattle for some years and can confirm that there may be places as good as this, but very fee (if any) are better.The hipster vibe is thick, but the coffee is 5 stars.grab some direct trade coffee beans while youre there.Extra points for being covid conscious.We stop here when were in town and you should too.

This is by far the best coffee house I have been to in Cleveland. First coffee is amazing, the baristas are fun & interesting, the pastry is great and all of their locations are architecturally interesting. A must for any coffee enthusiast. I earned my cup today :)

One of the best Rising Stars in the Cleveland Metro area, Hinge Town, in an old fire station with a large garage door in front that opens during nice weather. Picnic tables and umbrellas outside. Hip, chic, urban families, Millennials, students, gen-xers, and all sorts of just good old normal clevelanders to boot.

Im seldom in the neighborhood, but when I am, still stop by for a delicious espresso. It is a nice coffee shop with roaster who tempt to fulfill your requirements for coffee, and dont be afraid to ask for something which is not on the menu. They serve all day breakfast with all sorts of cuisines in form of quick bites. The flavors are great and the three ladies working there are super pleasant. The interior is very charming as well. All in all, this is one great coffee shop.

Came here from Edgewater Park, atmosphere was great, staff was very friendly, juice was very good, and fiance loved the coffee!

I always enjoy coming here for coffee. The staff is always professional and quick, albeit a little standoff-ish usually. The coffee is pretty much perfect every time and I’ve tried quite a few things on their menu between the different locations. They’re probably my favorite roasters in the Cleveland area. The “Winter” roast is particularly good.

Delightful!Best meal Ive ever gotten for $8 including a latte! Its a must try. Service was like a taste of France.

Really nice spot in the Downtown Cleveland area for coffee. The place is a no-frills stop for coffee, tea, and pastries. They also sell bags of coffee alongside coffee and tea accessories. Ironically, Ive yet to sample a cup of their coffee, but I have had their golden turmeric tea, which I think tastes fantastic.

This was my first time here and I LOVED it. Im always on the lookout for a new place to study/work from home and this is the perfect spot. Plenty of seating/outlets, friendly staff, calm environment. 10/10 would recommend getting the Promised Land Latte. You wont be disappointed.

I feel all these criterions are controllable by the corporation, the franchise owner or store manager.
