We purchased a 2022 Ram Rebel Eco Diesel yesterday from Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Cleveland and it was a phenomenal experience from the get go. My wifes truck was pulled up to the front of the dealership as soon as I arrived. The salesman, Matt Johnson, handed me the keys and told me to take it for a drive before we ever talked the value of my trade it, finance options, or any other details. Just wanted to say how great Don in service was dealership was half staffed do to sickness and got my jeep in and had it fixed within one day. And Josh the transmission tech called me and spent over an hour on the phone with me to understand what problem i was having. when it was all done the computer needed to be flashed but Josh also fixed a few small things he noticed or i had said and only charged for the flash. Terrible communication all around. I had bought a used Subaru from their lot back in April 2021. First thing they never communicated to us was that since our county runs emission checks and their county doesnt, we have to run the car through emissions to get the all-clear from the county. Weve only ever bought cars from inside our county, so this was not basic knowledge for us. They text us a month or so later asking if we got emissions checked so they can file the tag paperwork. We didnt, so we did that the next day. And, admittedly, they owned up for not telling us. Then, we were still waiting for the tags. We reached out to the dealer that sold us the car to see how far along the tagging process was approximately another 2 or so weeks after the emissions were checked. Radio silence. We reached Crowns business office 2 weeks after that incident. Radio silence. We reached the phone of the business office manager. Radio silence. Finally, we got an unrelated call because we had reached out to the dealership via social media, and got bot-blocked. We finally had been told that our tag was at their other office in Chattanooga. Neither branch mentioned it to each other or to us. Never buying a car here again.

Had an appointment with one salesman, he handed me off to someone else as soon as I got there, which actually turned out to be good. I went looking at a Grand Cherokee they had listed online, but was told they couldn’t sell it due to issues it had and it had to go to auction. They also had a Rubicon Unlimited listed online, but it was already sold when I got there. I had let the salesman know the night before the stock number of both vehicles I was wanting to look at. I live an hour away and it would have been nice if he had told me neither were available before I made the trip.

My husband and I bought a 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible on May 15, 2021. We traded my Mazda CX-5 in and financed the balance. Katzman was a great sales person, very helpful and personable. The financing is where it all went south. We waited about 2 1/2 hrs before we saw the finance guy, Chancy. Once we sat down with him he ran through the paperwork so quick and sold us GAP ins. which ended up not being necessary due to the loan to value ratio so the loan had to be adjusted. The process from leaving the dealership to now has been ridiculously unnecessary. The dealership kept asking for more & more documents and the financial piece should have just been based off of my husbands income as Im retired but they insisted on having me prove my residency here in TN. We purchased the Mustang on 5/15/2021 and I just got confirmation today 8/16/2021 the loan is finally set up (backdated to 6/18/2021 which is suspicious). During those three months we contacted Crown and they kept giving us the run around telling us they have EVERYTHING they need but then a few weeks go by, I contact the bank, no loan has been set up. Crown kept asking for more & more documents to prove we lived where we live, WTHell??? The final document they asked for was my voter registration card...seriously??? 😡. I contacted Crown & the bank in June, July and, early August and even last week, the loan was still not set up. Our main concern was getting a default due to Crown not getting the paperwork sent to the bank to have the loan set up. We, the customer should not have had to jump through this many hoops just to purchase a vehicle. Also, the vehicle financing should have just been based off of my husbands income. Another thing to add, I called to talk with the GM, I left my phone number a few times in the VM and he ends up calling my husband giving him a b.s. story why he didnt call me back (the person who called him)...is this how you handle business, you avoid talking to women???

We have brought our jeep in multiple times for a squeaking noise in the tires. Trying to make an appointment is a nightmare to begin with, they never have a rental vehicle. Whenever we call to get an update we get transferred to service and they don’t answer or return any calls, leaving multiple messages and when they finally answer it’s conveniently ready; shocker! We have made multiple visits and the same problem same issue doesn’t get fixed and pointless parts that they said that need “changed” that doesn’t fix the problem. Staff doesn’t know what it’s going on at any given time and they the multiple back and forth of them changing the story first that the part it’s not in to then miraculously them having the part and “working” on it. My husband calls they tell him one thing I call they tell me an entirely different thing. The guy that shuttles me home was using another customers vehicle because he was “testing” it to see what the problem was when he’s not even a mechanic.

Recently purchased a vehicle my wife has wanted since she was 12. It took 30 years for it to happen, but happen it did. Our sales people, Fulton Lewis and Juanita Ball (Fulton was training Juanita) were top notch. Super easy to work with, attentive, and patient.The buying experience was completely painless. I took our Jeep Renegade in because the air didn’t seem to be cold at all when we first bought it. Took it to the dealership and was told that it’s normal for the air to only cool to 10 degrees below the outside temperature. Which made the air conditioner blow at 88 degrees because it was 98 degrees outside! After arguing I brought the Jeep home and called the number out of the manual. After sending in picture proof of the temperature and the dealership’s diagnosis I was told to go back and promised my Jeep would be fixed. Turned out the condenser was clogged! Do Not Go To Crown and trust them!!!! Do your own investigation and back check everything they do!! This is just one of many situations I’ve dealt with at this dealership!

Beautiful brand new facility. Nice pre owned inventory and new vehicles as well. Service Department waiting area is nice with complimentary drinks and WiFi. Location was hard to find and confusing because it shows the new location address with pictures of the old facilities.

I bought a new Ram, 1500 Laramie for my business. The General Manager asked me to consider having Crown maintain all my fleet. After hearing his speel, I signed up. On 12/7/20, two of my Techs made a appointment to have their vehicles oil changed, rotate the tires and have their transmission fluid changed. An hour later, they were told that they couldn’t service the transmission because they didn’t have the correct fluid, the Vans were Ford vehicles. They knew that when I signed up for a business account. Three and a half hours later they completed the oil change and tire rotation, that was with a appointment. I can’t afford to have my techs tied up that long for a simple task that should take 45 minutes.Jim Hawks

Overall experience was good. Had a good experience with the sales dept. No complaints at all. I feel like I got a great deal and would buy from them again. There are only a few minor things, like the tires were badly out of balance so their service dept balanced them, except they did a terrible job. Still had a terrible vibration (had a long drive home), never removed the old weights and just added more. Balanced them when I got home , now its smooth. Rear brake rotors were warped. Battery was dead in the red key. Asked to make sure Uconnect and Nav were up to date, theyre not. These are things that shouldve been caught on an inspection and corrected.

By far the WORSE car buying experience I ever had! Had a Dodge Charger for 24 hours and felt shaking, heard noises when driving the vehicle as well. Reached out to them about returning or trading the vehicle everybody went around the main question I asked! I was even told in a smart manner “um well it is a preowned vehicle” as if that’s an excuse to be having issues with a car already I took it back to them to have the service department look at it of course they said they didn’t hear or see any issues. Reached out to the GM once again about trading the car still haven’t heard from them only thing they’re worried about is when am I going to pick the car up instead of TRYING to make my experience better! Would NEVER recommend

After buying to cars from these people adding the super extended warranty, which was stated it be able to check it included but it wasn’t covered I’d have to pay extra which I get but now every time I check it they want to charge us 90$ just to look at a car and nothing is ever covered on that extended warranty just a way for these crooks to put more money in their pocket. Something is always wrong with the Durango and none of the 3 times nothing has been covered. My car is well in warranty and yet I have to pay 90 just for a check up

We had a great experience except for the finance guy. He was very knowledgeable and patient and did his best for us to have a great car buying experience, however, he didnt wear a mask although we showed concern by wearing ours. Although he had a shield a mask wouldve made us feel more comfortable.

Would recommend checking Atlanta or Nashville. These guys wanted to sell a demo unit with over a 1000 miles on it for the same price as a new vehicle and then get a attitude when asked about it.

At this place for the doctors office I would sue them for malpractice, the mechanics in their shop obviously do not know their business let me explain: 2 years ago a driver that was in this 2016 Dodge ProMaster backed up under something and crunched the rear corner on the right side, night before last I was getting loaded with 3 palette that puts my bed up against the back of the driver seat, well as anybody knows you have blankets and stuff on your bed well my blanket got caught between the rubber that keep the water out and the sliding door as I went to close it so the door Jammed, and because I could not get the door reopen to try to re-close it I would have had ran Malone made my delivery then I take it over to this Dodge dealership, and a mechanic tells me because of the damage to the roof that happened two years ago, no Ive been in this van 6 months and Ive had to use that sliding door every time Ive loaded pallets in there because I cant put my seat rack straps are on the floor over the load from the back in I have to lock him down on the front end so that means I have to go through the sliding door constantly, anyway as I was saying this mechanic says that because of the damage to the top right roof rear of the van that is why the door jammed and it has to be taken to a body shop, and I even asked the guy that writes up the work order how can that be possible when Ive been using that door constantly for the last six months and it is not jammed once until the night before last when I got my blanket stuck between the rubber waterproofing and the door!I would never ever take another vehicle to this dealership these people do not know what they are doing, and in my opinion theyre the laughingstock of the Auto industry hope

Mike Kost was the salesperson who approached me in the lot while looking at the 2020 Dodge Challengers. He was very friendly, cordial & not pushy at all which I really like in a salesperson. This was probably my most comfortable experience of buying a car. All of the Crown employees that I met with were friendly & professional. The Sales Manager took the time to stop by and talk with me about the sale of the vehicle and explained in detail all the incentives that were being offered at the time. He also gave me two Dodge ball-caps to complete the look! The Finance Manager, Chancy Deakins is super friendly and professional. He made the whole car buying experience a pleasure from beginning to end. The whole process from looking around to out the door was a very positive & comfortable experience.
