Sam and his techs are awesome. They went out of their way to help me fix my starter even though they didnt have to. They always fix my vehicle in a timely fashion and communicate with me

I took my car here for what I thought would be for replacement of my speakers. Upon inspection the installer informed me that there was nothing wrong with any of them..including my rear speakers as these were subwoofers, just there for bass (all part of a Sony 12 speaker system for the Ford Fusion SEL) , not exclusively for sound output, and that the changing of any of the other speakers wouldnt get me any better sound than I already had. I appreciate him being honest with me..in return for that honesty, I decided to spend the money that I was going to spend replacing speakers on a remote start system...giving them the business now for my appreciation, and I will highly recommend them to friends, family, and associates for their cars audio, alarm systems, etc.

If you need a part make sure you know what youre looking for. They sold me an item I wasnt asking for, and since I dont know cars too well I didnt know. And they dont do returns. Also theyre overpriced.

I had a remote starter installed. My experience was excellent. On my first call, Sam answered and was very patient with me and explained the options and process for the installation. I called later that day and made an appointment for the installation. Everything started on time and was completed when promised. Both Sam and the technician did a great job explaining how the systems works. Ive tested it and it is working exactly as expected. There were no hidden surprises and the cost was fair. I feel I received a good value. There was no pressure for an upsell or anything like that. I will go out of my way in the future to have all my car electronics work done by them. Absolutely no disappointments working with Access 1 Alarm!

I had my alarm installed a few months ago. I parked my car yesterday and 2 hours later it wont come on or start and the alarm kept going off. I thought for sure my alarm or battery was bad, so I called for help. They couldve blew me off easily, but they offered to take a look after I tried replacing the battery on my own which didnt fix it.After towing my car in, Brian took a look - checked the battery, fuses, connections and finally came across the wire I had for a Cobb tuner. I hadnt used it in weeks but he tried pulling it anyway. Turns out water from my shoes had been corroding the end of the wire and causing a short on my obd2 port. He pulled the wire and my car works great now!There is a reason everyone raves about the customer service here. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Brian is awesome!

10 years ago they used to do window tints and alarms and I bought them for my car. The tints had a LIFETIME WARRANTY went there yesterday he said he was going to take care of it he knows the work was done there. These guys are great and do fantastic works! We drove an hour to have remote start installed on our Land Rover LR4, they were the only ones I could find who could do this. We were told it would take 2 hours for installation, so when we got there we were going to Uber to lunch. Sam, who we were dealing with said not to worry about it and to take his car. 1st time here and couldnt be happier. These guys know their stuff. I was taken care of promptly at my scheduled appointment time and was on my way home quicker than originally promised. I called several places in town for pricing on a simple audio system. The quote I got from Access 1 Audio was $120 less than one place and $295 less than another. All of the places I called had 4 or more stars on Google reviews.With that much savings I rushed to their shop on Lorain and got everything started. The installation time was reasonable for what I was having done. I am extremely happy with the results. Because of this I took in another one of my vehicles the very next day. They got the same installation done and ALSO fixed a minor electrical problem that a full auto shop wanted to charge me over $100 to have properly diagnosed (they charged me $15 for this and I was happy to pay it).To be fair, I am writing this review just a couple days after the installs so I really cant speak to the quality moving forward but I was given warranty info and assured that any problems will be taken care of if they come up. I will update this review if any of that happens. For now I cant think of any reason why they dont deserve a 5 out of 5 on the rating.

I went to Access to have issue with aftermarket lights that I bought on EBAY fixed. I worked with Jim on this and he was really helpful. he worked with me to get my car in the next day. Worked with me on getting all the lights fixed and gave me a good price to have it all done. I would Highly recommend them if you are looking for quality work.

While I have never been to Cleveland, I do not have to go there to know that Access 1 will be a great shop. My son needed a backup camera installed on his car and so, based on reviews and pricing, we came to Jim at Access1. I did a VERY thorough research of area shops and couldnt believe what many of them were charging especially since we provided our own equipment. There was a very rare mishap in the process and I have to say that Jim went above and beyond to fix the problem and make the situation right. Access 1 is the place to go for stereos, remote starts, alarms. These guys are fantastic, they know what theyre doing and do it quick. I got a remote start and a bluetooth soundsystem. Now I can put more bass in my voice, yeah! Dont go anywhere else.

Showed up as a walk in to get a stereo receiver installed and drove away an hour later with everything I needed. Prices are reasonable and staff is very professional, and they provide a warranty on their labor for as long as you own the vehicle. A smooth and friendly experience.

A couple years ago I had Remote Start and Keyless Entry Installed on my 1966 Van. I was extremely impressed with how courteous the gentleman were that took care of my van. And they had it installed in half the time they said it would be. Recently I tried to use my remote start at 6am to help clear my windows. It didnt work. I took my van and the remote to them and asked if they could help me, did it need repaired or did I just need a new battery? I dont know what they did, I just know that in 10 minute it was fixed at no charge. When they told me it was guaranteed for as long as I had the van they meant it. I will be taking my Pontiac to them next! They are great.

They need to work on their customer service and how they treat people. I had to take my car to a shop so they can take out the remote start system since my car wouldnt start. The problem is the remote start system that they installed that is causing the problems in my car. A while ago I went in and said what the problem was and they want to tell me the recalls I have on my car is the issue so they can make it seem like its not their fault probably. I went to get the recalls checked and that was taken care of but I still had problems with the car. I dont want this place to touch my car ever again. Ideally I would like my money back but for now I rather just leave this review. I hope they dont respond to me in a mean way like how they do with the other 1 star reviews on here.

Excellent customer service..!!!!!I went to Lewis Electronics (bcus it was closer to my home) looking for a viper replacement FOB..Lewis Electronics took over 2hrs of my time & I left without the main reason for going there, the FOB..they couldnt locate my proper FOB..why they didnt just order a replacement beats me..HOWEVER, Access 1 had me in & out in less than 20mins..with my new programmed FOB in hand..Prices are very reasonable & they are very knowledgeable..Ill be going back for under-dash lighting & maybe even some ghostlighting..GREAT place..Ask for Sam..hes the man 2c..

I DELIVERED A 1967 EL CAMINO AND A CUSTOM RADIO WITH CASSETTE PLAYER. THE INSTALLERS NOTIFIED ME THAT WIRING TO THE RADIO WAS MISSING. I SAID TO CONTINUE WITH THE ADDITIONAL LABOR AND MATERIAL. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED TO MY SATISFACTION. THE PRICE WAS JUST A BIT MORE THAN I EXPECTED .

I walked into Access 1 Alarm and they had me a new fob reprogrammed in under 20 minutes with no appointment without hesitation. Great service! I will be using them again in the future

I would not recommend that anyone goes here. Went to get a new stereo installed in my car and had to go back 8 time, 8 TIMES! to get it fully installed and on the 8th time they didnt even install it correctly. It took them 5 times to even get all of the correct parts. On my 8th time there they lied to me and told me it is not possible for me to use my AUX hookup when after only 10 minutes of research online I found out it was possible and just takes one additional cord. If you guys do not know how to install a stereo correctly in a certain car let the customer know before they deal with the headache of working with you guys.

Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Access 1. When it comes time to trust someone with the second biggest purchase they make in their life, why risk it to some no name shop when you can go to a place with well trained staff and a great selection of quality products at reasonable prices.

They informed me I already had a car alarm and to try it out, and if I wanted something different call them back. He was correct but I wanted something more sensitive. I got it installed today and he took the time to explain it to me and he also helped me with a radio situation. They have my complete trust and this will be the only shop I will go to when I want to add extra sauce(drip drip) to my car! I didnt catch his name,but I will be back to get some other things done!

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They dont even have staff to accomadate the customers. Everyone that came in ended up turning right back around after being denied a service that a Car Audio business should provide. Its marketed well, but the services do not reflects its image. 👎🏾

This company is incredibly unprofessional, they are essentially scamming me over a $16 dollar leather keyfob case/cover, if they wont even make that right, there is no WAY i would ever let them touch my car to install an alarm or an audio system. the case did not fit right, i messaged them through ebay where I purchased it, and they said ship it back. i paid to ship it back, it was delivered, and they claim they never got it. it was delivered on a saturday near 1PM, they close at 3PM per google. Google street view shows their business is very close to the street, right on the sidewalk. its not my fault that it was delivered close to closing, and someone more than likely grabbed the box as they walked by. they purposely drug it out so it would be past the time frame where eBay could help as far as filing a claim. I know they intentionally did this because after i finally located my receipt with the tracking number to prove it was delivered to the address they told me to ship it to, he responded that its been too long for ebay to do anything now. he offered a 50% refund. thats not what i want, either a full refund, or what i really want is another case like he promised. if a company is hassling me over $16 dollars, i cant imagine what they do on larger purchases/installs. im going to just call my bank/paypal to get them to refund me, but i want everyone to see what type of business this is. i am going to put this review on any site/facebook/etc that i possibly can, and im going to screenshot the rude and unprofessional messages through eBay and post those on their facebook as well for everyone to see. in the end my bank will refund me, but its just wrong that i have to even do this. they probably even received the package for all i know and are just saying they didnt get it.I will order a different case from another company, and will never order anything from this company again. i hope others read this review as well, and when i post the messages proving how rude they really are, i hope they lose customers. i would love to see them go out of business and lose everything!what a piece of garbage these people are.

Ive been here for the installation of speakers in two of my vehicles. The first was a 2005 Chevy Cobalt. I took it to get 2 6x5 speakers put into the driver and passenger side doors. After about three months my passenger side speaker stopped working due to water damage. I was not too upset and didnt blame them because I did attempt to put that speaker in myself so I figured I just messed something up. A few months later I bring in my 2013 Hyundai Veloster, attempting to get 4 6x5 Kenwood speakers put into the 3 doors and side panel (Velosters only have 3 doors). I had to bring my car back 2 times, and eventually gave up on them due to poor customer service and never returned. The first time I came back was because my side panel rattled. I was told that it will always rattle because of how the car was made and that there is nothing I could do about it. The second time was about a week or so later after I received an email, I suggested that the speakers may have been installed wrong and that the wiring could be backward. I was immediately dismissed because they already looked at my speakers when checking the rattle. A few months later I decided I didnt like the sound of the Kenwood speakers and decided to buy JBLs. This time I took my vehicle to Best Buy. As soon as the guy servicing my vehicle opened up my drivers side door panel he called me into the garage, showing me water damage and cheap (also non waterproof) wires. The damage/cheap wires were also in the other two doors of my vehicle. Then, he opened up my side panel and immediately asked me if it was rattling. I said yes and he showed me the damaged bracket and wondered why they wouldve used that in my vehicle, he then proceeded to show me incorrect wiring (the positive terminal was attached to the negative and vice versa). The guy at Best Buy re-did all my wiring and even threw in sound deadening material (at no charge) because he felt so bad for me and my experience with Access 1. After everything I was told, and saw, at Best Buy I left a Yelp review, which is no longer on their Yelp page, about my experience. A few days later I got an email from Jim literally telling me, I sent a follow up email to you so we can address problems like this and not just blast us on the internet. I did get the follow up E-mail, which is what prompted me to ask about the wiring, and was dismissed when I came in. Honestly if I could I would not even give them 1 Star. You get what you pay for. Spend the extra money and go to Best Buy. It will save you a headache in the long run.
