Im excited to receive the product I just ordered. I made a mistake when ordering (ordered the wrong size/style). I realized this over the weekend, so left a message. Derek called back first thing this morning and said Not a problem at all... we can change that for you! and made it a non-issue. He was very polite and customer service oriented. Also he let me know that they were going to try to get my process ordered and shipped out today!! Although I havent worked with this product yet, I have to say the customer service provided by Derek was top notch and I was already impressed enough to feel compelled to write this review. Once I receive the molding and have a chance to do some installation, Ill update my review on the product. For now, they definitely earn a five-start review for Dereks customer service. We have ordered crown moulding from this business for most of our home. First, the product is easy to work with and goes up nicely as long as you watch the instructional video recommend by the company. The corners come pre cut, which is awesome. Derrick was helpful with everything from suggestions for installation to making sure we ordered the proper amount. I loved that it hometown business feel with large company product. These people are truly 5 star.

I bought this companys basic crown molding a couple years ago. I had to prime it, paint it, cut it, and glue it. It wasnt too much of a challenge. I received nice compliments from people who normally arent generous in praising. It has continued to look great even as my old house settles.

I used Crown Molding Solutions in the living groom of a house i was remodeling that was over 100 years old. with how much the house settled made everything very complicated to installed and make it look good. their product made it so easy to bluff certain spots. I had only imagined a product like foam crown molding, thinking how easy and inexpensive it could be. Then to my shock, learned there really is such a product. After finding 3 main sites, I had the most success with Crown Molding Solutions. One company suggested that my custom design wouldnt be good because of the thickness I chose. Also the running foot was more expensive than Crown Molding Solutions. Answers were vague. Another company didnt respond as they said they would on the phone in later emails. So I chose Crown Molding Solutions. I got prompt friendly and informative replies and a great price for something totally custom made to my liking. A minor problem was easily and speedily resolved and I am happy to recommend this company to anyone out there looking to save a bundle over high end lumber yard prices plus the cost of a professional to install. This product is extremely easy to install and at age 73, I will have an easy time of it. I am extremely pleased with Crown Molding Solutions.

I painted them before installing and I got many compliments on them. When I mentioned they were foam to some buddies who are craftsmen by trade they were impressed and said they couldnt tell any difference. I would use them again.

I was happy to find Crown Molding Solutions. They were the only company that made moldings for vaulted ceilings. The directions for painting and installing made it sound so easy. Usually this is not the situation, but it certainly was in this case.Derek was helpful over the phone and made me feel confident about their product. I ended up installing the regular type of crown moldings in the dining room and family room.It looks fantastic and adds such dimension to the rooms.DIana F.

He boxed them up and we took them home same day. Bring SUV if you are taking them home. They fit perfectly into the Traverse.

Excellent product! Extremely easy to cut and install, looks beautiful when completed. (Remember its foam so no aerosol products can be used, but a good primer coat and paint brushed or rolled goes on providing coverage faster than a spray can ever could anyway).

Takes some care to get smooth cuts and joints but after a bit of experience its an easy material to work with. I will use these moldings again and recommend the product.

Great product. Easy to install and looks perfect. The only issue is that they come in the color blue. Takes two coats of primer to cover. They used to come in white which was easier to paint.

We tackled both our great room (45x 15) and an office after not being able to find a contractor that would do crown... they all said it was “too fussy.” Well creative crown made it a breeze and so much more affordable. Pre-done corners made these rooms fly by, even with the “help” of a toddler and a baby.

With todays move to painting all trim white you have to be aware of the issues of wood shrinking and expanding to the seasonal humidity where you live. My wood crown molding can shrink 1/4 inch in winter. For our master bedroom and bathroom I decided to use Crown Molding Solutions 5 inch crown molding. I have sloping ceilings in both rooms and this product allows easy cutting and installation for sloping ceilings. I was worried that the bathroom installation might be a problem because of the steam from shower. Not only did it stay firmly attached over the 3 years its been installed but there is no movement of the material and no gaps on any of the joints. The material is light and attached by painters caulk which makes installation easy. I am a pretty useful DIYer but this was not a difficult job. One thing you should be aware of is that you need to do a good job painting the surface because you cannot sand any runs and so paint them, before you install, on a flat surface. My sons house has a two story lobby and his wood molding has at least 1/4 inch gap in winter. I have no gap. A 12 inch pull saw is ideal for a 5 inch molding. I had some questions and left them on the manufacturers phone voice mail. The next day the owner called me and answered those questions. (Hes the guy you see in the How to videos on youtube) Another plus for the product.

Product was exactly as described and was easy for me to install myself. Does need a few coats of paint, though.

I love foam Crown molding. So easy to install, light weight and precut corners. I installed a room by myself in a few hours. I wish you made faux beams as well.

I have used this store twice and each time the product was quickly delivered in the proper amount. The installation was easy, and the results look great.

I have bought foam crown moldings from CMS several time for different properties. Their shipping is fast and the product is a breeze to install. Ends up looking indistinguishable from wood which is MUCH more expensive and harder to install. They offer many different options of sizes and profiles of crown molding.The only caveat is that I wouldnt use their foam trim in any location where it might be bumped, for instance by furniture. For any area away from that threat, I cant think of a single disadvantage to using CMSs foam instead of wood.And make sure you have someplace to store it until installation. It arrives in HUGE boxes. They arent heavy, but they take up a lot of space.

Bought the decorative inner and outer corners for the crown molding in our master bedroom. Really made the ceiling stand out.

Easy DYI project, results look fantastic! The hardest part is waiting for the paint to dry to install your mouldings.
