Autocom LLC knew I was coming in from out of state with the intent to purchase a specific car. I called the day before to confirm. When I arrived, it could not even be test driven off the lot because they had left the emergency break on while it was parked on a flat surface for an extended period and the rear brakes locked up. I spent hundreds of dollars (nearly a thousand by the time you factor in the additional unexpected Uber, hotel, and extra flight) traveling to them to leave with not so much as an apology. They were unprofessional and unapologetic. I would recommend them to absolutely no one. Ever.

This place is a complete RIP OFF!!!! They do nothing but grab the cars from the auctions, clean them, reset any lights on the dash and put it on the lot. Got a van from them and every light on the dashboard came on in a week. They had their mechanic “fix it” ...now we are on the side of the road with fire under the hood from the issue he “fixed”. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!

The staff is beyond friendly. They have nice, late model clean vehicles but they have very high miles on them so be prepared to have to put money into them. I bought a 2010 VW Routan van from them. I immediately had to replace all of the motor mounts, transmission cooler lines, wheel bearings/hubs, rocker arm assemblies, and will have to replace the fuel pump in the next month. My $5,500 van turned into almost $8,000 in the first month of ownership.Used car dealers like these buy vehicles from dealer auctions where new car dealerships auction them off because they dont want to offer them for sale on their own lots for any number of reasons - age, mileage, problems. Take their advice and have the car you are looking at inspected by a mechanic. The cost of a Pre purchase inspection can save you from buying something that will need excessive repairs. In my case, it was pretty clear that the previous owner did not maintain this van very well. It had a multitude of issues because he didnt take care of it.Because dealers are able to buy from the auction at below wholesale, it is assumed that they will spend a bit of time and money to make the vehicle reliable again before sale. This is why blue book values are higher for dealer sales. Some dealers actually do this, while most of them just steam clean and detail them to make them look well cared for. This was the case here. The price was lower than average retail for this van but after counting up what I had to spend on it to make it reliable, I could have waited and eventually bought one in better shape with fewer miles for a little bit less. Once I have the fuel pump replaced, I will have more in it than it is worth, but it is a nice van, so I dont feel completely ripped off but it would have been nice to know about these things ahead of time.I would buy from them again but I would be more careful to have it checked out by a shop first.
