Your transmission Man, Gary I believe was the gentlemans name completely performed the ultimate job on my car. It was completed in way earlier probably than it could have been. He really got on it and got the part for it and put two guys working on it for me so that I could leave on my trip on the day I was supposed to leave. It was an emergency surgery as I call it because I work in the medical field and they did the surgery at the utmost qualified and did an excellent job. My car is completely healed and now she will be flying to Oklahoma on time thank you Mr transmission ManI also want to take a moment and say that the lady that run the front desk was so nice and professional and I really want to give a shout out to her as well.

Phenomenal customer service. We developed transmission problems in the middle of a trip and they squeezed us in same day knowing we were en route to our destination. They handled our warranty plan perfect and updated us routinely as the work was done over the next day. Great experience with them!

The personnel at this location are so amazing! They are super friendly and very knowledgeable! The work they do is fantastic and good quality work. The only plight I had with the entire situation was when I went to pay for the work that had been completed. Anywhere else I get an automotive quote from, they usually over quote the price, and when I go to pay, its cheaper than what was quoted, or they call to advise of the additional cost before completing the work. Unfortunately this is not the situation with Mr Transmission of Clarksville. When I went to pay, I found out the labor and parts were included with the quote, but there were additional taxes and fluids and setup fees that were not included with the initial cost. The final total was $500 more than the quote, and it truly felt like a bait and switch, because the work was already done. And when the owner/manager, Garry, and I were talking, he acted like this is a normal practice, and sometimes there are even higher costs added on than what were tacked on to my estimate. In conclusion, I would recommend Mr Transmission to my friends and family with the caveat of, be prepared to pay additional costs over the original estimate.

From my experience it is clear that the guys at Mr Transmission completely take advantage of people. I took my car in to have them tell me why my car was running so rough. It seemed like the transmission was going out so I brought it to a “specialist” to have them tell me how much it would be to fix it. I called before I went and asked how much it was for a diagnostic. It was free so I took it up the same day. They called me about 4 hours later and told me the whole transmission needed rebuilt that it would cost around $2,100. Honestly it went right along with what I assumed it needed and the price seemed about right. When I went to pick it up I asked if I owed anything for a fluid change assuming they took the pan off and looked at the transmission. They said no it was free they came to that determination of me needing it rebuilt by test driving it… that seemed fishy to me so I took it for a second opinion at Ross Bros in Jeff. I didn’t understand how they could decide it needed a rebuild without cracking the pan. Anyways I took it to Ross Bro which I highly recommend everyone do before paying Mr Transmission. Turns out my transmission is totally fine no issues at all. My catalytic converter was clogged and Ross Bros was able to fix it for $800. So Mr Transmission was going to “rebuild” my working transmission and charge me $2,100 for no reason. Don’t trust them they just want to take advantage of you. Go see the guys at Ross Bros in Jeff they are stand up guys that want to really help.

Garry and Holly were very knowledgeable and helpful. And they have a great staff. My transmission was rebuilt and they did it timely and it is functioning great. My vehicle is a Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. I highly recommend this shop.

I have had nothing but trouble so far. I bought a 2014 Nissan Versa. After 2 years of financing it through Drive Time in Louisville Indiana, I had to replace the entire transmission. It was covered under warranty, thankfully. The very same day I picked it up from Mr. Transmission, the ABS light came on. The car never really showed any sort of change, so we thought maybe just a short in the fuse or something. I take full responsibility for not taking it back immediately but I could not afford to. Now that I can afford it, I took back to Mr. Transmission. They claimed to have found the problem, a bad sensor, and replaced. I paid 360.00 for a bad sensor. When I picked up the vehicle it was not running well at all. ABS light came right back on. So now, its back at the shop. I refuse to pay for something twice. It hould have been fixed correctly the first time. Im not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I had my car into a Dealership shop and I had an issue with the Transmission/Torque Converter for my Car, The dealership quoted way to high and 2 weeks lead time. They did a great job helping me get the warranty company to pay for what they should honor. It did take about 2 weeks of arguing with warranty company but buy the end they paid for the damages.

My truck would not start. Had no power no lights. Could not jump start. Battery had a discharge.. Found two screws on battery needed to be cleaned.Everything was done over the phone. I was charged $95.

All of the team members at this Mr. Transmission in Clarksville Indiana went above and beyond my expectations. Gary went as far as to leave a car for me to drive if I needed transportation after he picked up my car from my work parking lot. Gary listened to my comments and reacted accordingly. While rebuilding my transmission he commented that the brakes and rotors were worn. At my urging I asked him to do that repair also. And still got my car back on time ! Now that is GREAT customer service. Thank you to all of you guys (and Holly too) for a job well done.

These guys were the only one around who didnt quote me half the value of my car when it had terminal transmission failure. Everyone else I called when shopping around said there whole thing needed replaced because that particular transmission could not be rebuilt. Well, Mr. Transmission rebuilt it.. there was another issue that didnt get fixed the first time around and they honored their warranty (which was also better than anybody else) and fixed the issue and even went above and beyond to ensure it wouldnt happen later. They also did a great job on my brakes while the car was being worked on. Dont waste your time calling around, just go here and get it done right

They was nice but they kept messing it up. I had to keep waiting longer because they kept fixing stuff that didn’t need to be fixed and then they killed my battery my leaving the car on and the next day I had to buy a new battery that I never got reimbursed for. But they got the job done. Only took 2 weeks

The 4-wheel Drive in my F250 quit working. Me. Transmission got us in quickly, made an accurate diagnosis and repaired the problem efficiently. I am very pleased with the service and workmanship we received and would recommend them for any needed service. They stay very busy which is always a good sign.

Place was extremely busy, however they still made a point to keep us updated and made every effort to fix our car within our requested time frame. Gary is a honest person who works hard and does what it takes to keep his customers happy.

My experience with Gary at Mr. Transmission in Clarksville , Indiana was GREAT. when you are facing a transmission repair it can be scary and expensive. Gary and his staff were able to diagnose the problem and was very economical with the quote. I had another issue with a caliper that they found and fixed too. The turnaround was very fast for these repairs. I would like to recommend Gary and his staff at Mr. Transmission.

These guys are great. I had an error code pointing to transmission issues, P0700 and P1825, and my 2007 vehicle with 150,000 miles was shifting poorly. They got the vehicle up on the rack and only had to change the synthetic transmission oil and filter. The transmission works great, and it only cost me $180. Other shops could have told me I needed this, and that, and whatever else, bringing the cost way up, over $1,000 easily. Mr. Transmission said the codes were cleared, and the vehicle shifted perfectly, hence they didnt recommend replacing parts they didnt think it needed. Honest and great!

I chose Me. Transmission because of Gary. He worked on my nieces car, which was not an easy job. He was kind and courteous throughout the entire endeavor! When they worked on my car, they were extremely busy and it was burning hot outside. I received my car much sooner than I expected and I will refer anyone I can to this location! Thank you!

We initially took our Ford Focus in for a new transmission of course. The price quoted was fair! (It was lower than other estimates by a couple of hundred dollars). The work was wonderful! It runs better now than before. So given that was such a great experience we then took in our Cadillac. Expecting the worst we were pleased to find that something minor had become disconnected. Garry hooked it back up, quoted us the labor costs and we were on our way! Finally, last but not least, we took our VW Beetle in, because the engine light came on. It needed new spark plugs, etc. Once again, it was fixed in 1 day and runs like a dream!We literally will only go to Mr. Transmission from now on. As one can tell from this review, they work on many different kinds of cars! As a matter of fact, we have nick-named Garry our “car doctor”. Not only is the work professional and done in a timely manner, Garry is a straight shooter, who genuinely cares about his customers. Over a few years, I had the transmission in my Ford Taurus replaced and a clutch replaced in my Toyota. I got excellent service and repairs from Mr. Transmission in Clarksville. The owner explained all the repairs and replacements. He treated me with kindness and honesty. The prices were fair. I highly recommend Mr. Transmission to my friends.

Helpful and qouted $900 to replace my clutch in a 98 f150. Had sent an email on line for a quote and they never responded.Ended up taking to Greenville Transmission in Greenville indiana. Total w/tax and all $775.00 with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. Both qouted one to two days.

My transmission was slipping, and Mr. Transmission was highly recommend, and It was a great choice for the work i had done. Garry was very knowledgeable about not olny what was going on with my car but also about nissans in general. He not only explained to me what was going on with my car but showed me the parts how they work together and the cause of the faulty parts. Mr. transmission was extremely helpful. My car was screwed up a lot and they were extremely helpful in getting my car drivable again. They even came to my house to check the car out again after I said it was still having issues of a different problem. After that they even drove my pretty much undrivable car back to Clarksville from jeff to avoid getting a tow. Overall they just made it a pain free experience. Would HIGHLY recommend. I was met and greeted by a gentleman by the name of Gary. He was very knowledgeable kind and courteous, a good person to have representing the front end of the business. After explaining to me he would need at least a half of a day for an evaluation I then left my vehicle with him. I was then later called on the phone and given in-depth instructions and explanation as to what was wrong with the vehicle, how I wanted to proceed and from there my vehicle was done 2 Days Later. It would have been completed in a day but a part needing to be replaced took longer than expected to be delivered. After performing the work I was called by Gary to return to the business where I picked up my vehicle. I was immediately then informed of a minor paint scratch that will be taken care of for free. It was nothing major and Gary was very open honest and upfront and willing to eat 100% of the cost and have the works performed himself. With a great Cost-to-Mechanical Aptitude ratio, I would have to say I would definitely recommend mr. Transmission of Clarksville Indiana to anyone looking to replace, restore or repair their vehicles transmission to 100% if not as close as you can get it. Class A Place Class A work. If I could give this place zero stars I will!!! They gave me a transmission that was junk!! Gary was very rude!! Extremely rude!! This place needs to be closed down!! Had the car for a whole month and broke the door handle and got a junk transmission and he would not replace it saying it’s not his problem! Gary is rude with no respect for his customers!!! Nasty!!

Thought I was making the right choice by dropping my restored Ford Bronco off here to have transmission work done on May 13,2019. Despite extreme lack of communication from Gary (except when I would call him)....I was informed yesterday May 29th that my Bronco was finally done....at the end of my phone call I was informed by Gary that someone stole my flip out radio out of my Bronco. I immediately drove up there and called the police. Gary proceeds to tell me that they are not responsible for valuables left inside vehicle per the sign in the shop. Are you kidding me?!?! I’m supposed to take a professionally installed stereo system out of my vehicle?! Strangely enough, no forced entry in my vehicle....minimal damage to the trim face plate and the person that stole it was nice enough to take the time to separate and cut the wires very neatly. Very dark tinted windows on my vehicle and no one would have known that there was a radio in it....it only flips out of the dash when you turn the vehicle on. They didn’t bother to steal the $7,000 plus in subs, speakers, amplifier, capacitator or additional battery in the back the runs all the extra stereo equipment. Someone stole the $600 flip out radio. The owner has not bothered to call me...he’s never there apparently. Gary was also so gracious to offer up a USED flip screen radio....hhhmmmm???? I am a business owner in Clarksville and have been for numerous years. I try to keep my business in Clarksville to help support other businesses in Clarksville. I would never leave my customer in a situation like this if their vehicle was vandalized while in my possession! It’s bad dirty business! Shame on you! Also....STILL waiting on the camera footage in which my Bronco was parked directly in front of!!!!!

Very respectful and professional! Took alil longer then expected due to mechanical failures in my original transmission after the initial rebuild, but replaced with a NEW lower mile better rebuilt transmission at the same original cost!!!!! Couldnt be more happy!

Took 20 days to get my car back. Was told things then it didn’t happen. Uncle is a mechanic so I know how this works so I won’t say anymore. Have a nice day .

Terrible communication, couldnt contact me for a month due to loosing my info paperwork ,when we did contact them , no work had been done , and told me i had 48 hours to remove my car or they would seize my vehicle , impound it and charge me a fee. I approached Gary in management and made arrangements and payed towing fees, and to my surprise i found out my car had been towed to the impound lot , left unattended by toe company with keys inside. Completely disregarding the face to face arrangements we had made 1 day prior. If i could give it zero stars i would.

Most know the trouble it brings when you lose a transmission traveling. It was Providential that we came across Mr Transmission in Clarksville, Indiana. Gary and the gang were professional and prompt in their service. Our family blesses them in Jesus name.

This is a torn review. Everyone there is very nice and helpful, also knowledgeable. However, I dropped off my car for the transmission to be rebuilt around January 10th-ish. At the time we wouldnt have the money to pay for any repairs until tax refunds that year so roughly the end of February. They understood that. We have the money ready to pick up our car on February 22nd. When we called to see if it was ready they said they needed one more day we could pick it up Friday the 23rd. Called Friday and was so told we can pick it up Monday the 26th and now its Tuesday and then were told we could pick it up Wednesday the 28th. While I appreciate their patience with us coming up with the money to pay for such a big repair almost $2,500 I dont appreciate being put off 5 days in a row when youve had the car since January. I would recommend but will also warn about the length of time your car might be here. 😞Still waiting btw...

Complete retards ! My car was there for a 3 hour, simple power steering install .....FOR 4 DAYS ! They put parts on my car that i didnt ask to be replaced.The guy that answerd the phone , when i tried to pay my bill ,actually screamed at me.... Do yourself a favor... DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS TO FIX Your vehicle.There are core charges for most parts of any vehicle, meaning , when a mechanic takes the bad part off , he can send it in to the parts dealer to be refurbished... That parts dealer will buy the bad part. In my case there were 2 parts replaced , which means they can resell my bad parts, which was probably 80$ total that they made ,on top of the the repair bill. So be aware .... They make more money than theyre original quote, by selling parts that YOU OWNEDGood luck... Because if you have a good experience .... It was simply luck

That was a waste of time to drive an hour here. Wouldnt scan my vehicle for codes unless I dropped it off all day so they could charge me several hours of labor to scan it. Scanning takes a whopping 20 seconds. Modern day thieves.
