They’re very diligent and patient. They spent the time it took to get us the best looking frames, understood our insurance and got the most benefit possible from our policy.It’s definitely worth going to a full service optometrist like this rather than one of those “$59 glasses” places. These people know what they’re doing and actually check your eye health and answer questions, not just quick cheap glasses. Will definitely keep coming back.

I have gotten multiple pairs of glasses from the Citrus Heights location and it’s always been a positive experience. They always have a really nice selection of stylish frames to choose from that won’t break the bank. I have a high prescription and their customer service went above and beyond to make sure my lenses worked well for me. I would recommend them to anyone and I will definitely get my glasses here again.

Excellent store! Dr. Baskett is very thorough and explained everything. Cindy is wonderful., and my favorite is Michael! He is so sweet and really cares. A great place to go for your optical needs.

Terrific initial experience. Due to COVID, I arrived early just in case there were any extra steps or slow-downs. I was welcomed right in and was in the chair before I even finished my new patient paper work. The doctor and the optician were thorough, patient, and terrific to work with. I look forward to returning to get my glasses and will update my review then.

Ive been going to eye designs since I was in the fourth grade and they were in the sunrise mall. The staff are perfect and some have even been with eye designs since I was little. Dr. Murphy is the best optometrist! I wouldnt have kept coming back if I didnt trust them. But now Im 31 and still wouldnt go anywhere else for my service. Thank you for always having the best people who work for you.

Really friendly staff who made the exam really quick and painless. They have some really cool, higher tech equipment for the exams. The big machine they use in place of dilating your eyes only costs $40, which was a really great price IMO.One of the staff members was kind enough to help me adjust my older pair of glasses. Everyone else was calm, considerate, and polite. Very clean, quiet facility. Great selection, even with budget glass frames. I will be going to them whenever I need help with my eyes or glasses.

Great and safe experience. Always quick and friendly. Havent had an eye exam in years and had to get new glasses and everyone was very informative and perfessional.EDIT: Forgot to mention the price us very reasonable with insurance. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and doctors, but they are horrible about returning calls and the staff doesnt seem well trained apart from a couple people. Ill probably switch doctors because when they say theyll get back to me then dont for days, is getting old.

Horrible customer service, glasses had to go back 4 times. Was told by staff that VSP was reversed called VSP not there. Called for a third time asking for a direct call back rep was again rude and apparently UPS was more important then the patient. Been a patient here for 20+ years (since they were at the mall) and now will not be back.

I have been bringing my daughter here for 10 years and the service has gone downhill. Today is the last straw. I will NEVER come here again. This year its taken 3 times to get the prescription right, now its been over 90 days since the first appointment. They canceled on us once without notification, so we showed up for nothing. We cancelled once because my son had emergency surgery.... my grandfather just passed away last night and when I tried to reschedule my appointment for later this week because of every thing going on the receptionist wanted to scold me for no shows, after I told her my grandfather just passed away and I was overwhelmed! Yea, I had a breakdown and cried on the phone... so now I am here, WAITING as usual... and I am here early but I can almost guarantee we wont be seen at our actual appointment time. We usually have to wait for at least 20 minutes past our appointment time.Thank you to receptionist who couldnt find an ounce of compassion on one the hardest days of my life! Shame on you eye design, your service has dropped so much over the years, but this is a whole new low!

I have been coming here for 4 years for my glasses and eye exams. I have had a really great experience with at least three of the different eye doctors, and the staff has been very knowledgeable with all of my questions helping me get the right frames and lenses. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer of Eye Designs for many years. I usually receive good service but yesterday I received out standing customer service from Kalie. She adjusted my current glasses & sunglasses while I was waiting for my appointment then assisted me with purchasing new frames. She was very knowledgeable in their products and services and her customer service, pleasant personality and professionalism was out standing. I mentioned this to Dr. Murphy and I am sure it is no surprise. They are lucky to have Kalie as a valued employee!!

Ive been a customer of Eye Designs Optometry for about three years now and have not thought about going anywhere else. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I feel I am in the hands of professionals which is important when it comes to your sight. They have a great selection of frames to chose from also. The first pair of glasses I received from them are still in excellent condition today. Quality products. Overall a very good experience. I would recommend them to friends/family.

My husband found Eye Designs Optometry in the Sunrise Mall several years ago, and both he and I were impressed with the high quality glasses her purchased there. So, two years ago, when I received a new Rx from my physician, I went directly to Eye Designs. The gal that worked with me was so personable and assessed my style right away and made perfect suggestions for designs and designers that would work for my face and personality! I bought my first bifocal sunglasses from her, and Ive since purchased approximately eight (8) other glasses and sunglasses. She knows me so well that she calls me when new styles come into the store that she knows Ill like! Truthfully, I can just tell her, Do it! and shell write up my order, send it out for processing, and call me when they come in. She hasnt missed yet! I LOVE MY EYE DESIGNS! And, thats the only place Ill purchase the ever so critical lenses that correct my eyesight to perfection!

Horrible service. My new glasses were way out of focus. The staff spent then next 20 minutes trying to convince me that it must be my eyes not the glasses. The glasses in question areas simple reading glasses with none of the extras. They wanted me to use the completely blurry glasses for 2 or 3 weeks, then come back for evaluation. I never took the glasses and Im currently working with my insurance to see another DR

One star because zero stars is not an option. Absolutely terrible experience getting glasses for both my son and daughter!! You already have to wait 2-3 weeks for a pair of glasses and when his glasses came in they were too big because they ordered the wrong frame size. Im a rational and understanding person and thought, ok things happen. Glasses were reordered in the right frame size and waited another 3 weeks for the right ones to come in. Time for my daughter to get her annual exam. Ordered glasses and again 2-3 weeks before they will come in, which is fine. Three week mark, no call. Called to inquire when the glasses would be ready and was put on hold while they called the lab. Apparently this time the lab had trouble with inserting the lense into one side of the frame. Was told they should be ready on Wednesday, no later than Thursday the following week. Thursday comes, no call all day and no glasses! Tried calling about 20 minutes before close and no answer. Beyond frustrated! More so that they dont have the business sense or courtsey to call as a follow up knowing the issue that I had previously and the issue Im having with them now. This will be the LAST time doing business here.

Maui Jim prescription sunglasses sent out for repair. Still waiting 4 weeks later. Eye Design has poor follow up with manufacturer to get the issue resolved.
