Caught the service writer (GM side) in a lie. Then quotes me $300. for splicing one wire. Start to finish, its a two minute job. Needless to say I left. Will not be returning for any service.

Kevin Cook treat my family an I pretty awesome. I found our 2018 GMC Terrain online an called him about it. Because we live 2 1/2 hrs away. He was able to do everything over the phone an through texting. When we was on our way to go get the car he called back an told me the car wouldn’t be ready until the next day. There was a chip on the window an a recall on it. But the little women done had her mind set she wanted that car. Kevin an I had talk an I told him I would come on up and sign everything because I was working out of town an needed to get it all done today. She would come pick it up the next day. Long story short when we arrived all the paperwork was done ready to sign. We was there a total 1 hr 15 minutes fast car buying experience I’ve ever had. Kevin’s could’ve been like other care salesman an not said a word an let me show up an then told me about the car an try an sell me a different car but he didn’t. He was totally honest up front an that’s why when I decided it’s time for another Kevin Cook will be the first person I call.

The reason Im giving one star is because I cant give a half of a star. I contacted the service department at 4:55 p.m. today which is Saturday and they close at 5 p.m.. I asked if theres a possible way that I can buy a tire it had it mounted on my rim which Im thinking should only take a few minutes oh, probably 15 tops. When the gentleman on the phone told me that he sent his workers home already and theres nobody there to do it, I said what about you? He replied with Im not going to put a tire on a rim.

Since I bought my car, Ive only had my service done from the dealership I purchased through. I recently went to Coughlin for the first time and I couldnt have been happier. Friendly service, efficient diagnostics on my car, and the work made my car feel like it was fresh off the lot again. Highly recommend them, and with it being the first service in nine years outside of my regular spot I think that speaks for itself.

I had recently had a bankruptcy discharged in May. I had applied for an auto loan, at 2 different places that specialized in bankruptcy approval, with no luck. I was on credit karma and filled out a lead, and within a couple hours received a call from Coughlin. Went to the dealership and was approved within 45 minutes. Vehicle is in their collision department needs an estimate submitted to insurance company for approval. Spoke with them on friday they said they’d get it out to insurance. They did, the following wednesday at 3:43pm. After receiving vehicle from dealership the repairs looked good, until following morning decided to check oil and noticed parts are missing under the hood that they had removed to make repairs. I’ve called Kasey the person in body shop I was dealing with numerous times only to get voicemail and no returned calls. I strongly suggest taking your vehicle somewhere else where all the parts will be put back on.

This is the 2nd truck that I have purchased from Coughlin Circleville. 2019 Silverado Tom Obert was my sales representative. The dealership is very customer service orientated and welcoming. I would recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from Coughlin Circleville. Being a repeat customer of Toms is much appreciated because there is no pressure discussion about my needs and what I was looking for. The finance team was fantastic in the fact I asked them to go through my credit union and not run a bunch inquires on my credit even though they dont do a lot of business with my credit union they still honored my wishes and I was financed through my credit union. Toms after sale customer service should be recognized because he followed up to make sure that everything was good truck was running good. That is rare as most sales folks after the sale is done you dont hear from them again until youre in the market again to purchase again.

Will NEVER go to this place, again. Used to be great when they first took over this dealership but has gone downhill - at least the service dept. Went there regarding warrantee repairs and things seems to go ok, at first. In the pas, had a great experience with them. Was just told I have to contact GM customer support, because even though the issue happened before my warranty expired and I reported a couple days later after it did.When I did contact GM customer service, they later told me that Coughlin has refused to work on my car. No explanation. Took car to Hugh White, in Lancaster Ohio, and was never treated greater and went WAY above and beyond to help me. That place as a customer for life.Coughlin is just another dealership that did great in the beginning and then went to hell - likely because the dealership kept growing and customer support went to hell. My retired father-in-law use to work there part time. Even he couldnt believe how much that place went downhill.

Today, (4/25/2020) my husband and I came in to buy a Chevy Colorado. We were lucky enough to be helped by Barbie Wagner. The place was packed with customers, but Barbie made sure we felt welcomed and not rushed. While we was looking and filling out paperwork, she was constantly helping other guest. She was always upbeat and happy, even though I know it had to be stressful with all the people there. As a company, you should be proud to have an associate of this caliber. Would give a negative rating if possible. This dealership is the most dishonest dealership/service department I have ever done business with. Drove my vehicle in to have a recall performed with no check engine light on or any other mechanical issues and received it back with a blown out transmission. They deny any fault and basically told me to screw off. They blamed it on the age of my vehicle. People will always have a great experience with a dealership/service department when everything goes 100% as it should but the true character of a business will be shown when there is a negative experience. This is when they either stand up and do what is right for the customer and own the concern or they tell the customer tough ?hit. This dealership chose to tell me tough ?hit. Now I am out over $2,000 because of their poor customer service and unwillingness to accept responsibility for what happened to my car while in their possession. Beware of doing business with this service department. Very Very dishonest.

I was in the middle of negotiating and getting financing for a car and the dealer sold it out from under me. Not to mention offering 2000 less than rough trade in value on a fair trade car. I would thing twice before dealing with this deeler. I also received this from the sales person Barbie...All vehicles are for sell unless closed on financing and unfortunately we were not while I understand this is true it is NOT good faith dealing. If you want to buy a car from them have cash in hand and best of luck! After all that and a days worth of Emails with Joshua I received a email inviting me to test drive the car they sold out from under me. What kind of dealership is this?

Initially based on an excellent price, I took a gamble driving 200 miles from Indianapolis to purchase my new Ford Mustang from Coughlin Circleville. Would they keep their promise? Would they try and load me up with other expensive options I didnt want? While they did offer me a number of useful options, there was no uncomfotable pressure. These guys are what I hoped they would be! Completely upfront and no surprises - my salesperson (Jim Carter) made the process as smooth and easy as can be. Although I have only had the car for less than a week, my experience with Jim Carter, Mark Hixon, and the rest of Coughlin Circleville has left me completely satisfied.

I took my car to Coughlin Chevrolet to get serviced and my car was there two weeks without any communication, unless I did the calling. My car was shutting off and I did not know why. I spent around $450 for them today they fixed my car and as I drove it off the lot about 5 minutes later the same issue occurred. I then called and told them what had transpired and all I kept hearing was that they would never let someone drive off the lot if a car was not able. I told them again what had happened and that the car shut off on me while I road across to street with not even the gas pedal working to safe get across the intersection. Thankfully, I made it across.I then asked to speak to a manager, a supervisor, and even the corporate number as I have attempted so many times to get answers. I would definitely ask around before dealing with Coughlin and also make sure you are getting what you paid for. Please! I do not want you to have the same experience as I had. Please, ask around!

Bought a brand new gmc terrain and in the first 2 weeks it needed a fuel sensor. Coughlin circleville got me right in, and took care of the problem, no charges. It took a couple days to get the sensors, which was ok because they gave me a car to drive.

I called Coughlin Automotive and while in hold the advertisement said they pay over what Blue book claims your car is worth so I went in after talking to someone and met Brent a salesman or manager (not sure) but anyway after about 20 mins and looking over my trade and having a meeting with some other guys in another office he came back to me and said the Blue Book says my trade is only worth 11-12 thousand and that they couldnt do the deal because the Blue book price is what they were gonna give me for the car so what is the point of lying on a phone advertisement that just told me 20 mins earlier that they would pay more for the car than Blue book price so BEWARE!

Someone hit my car and I went to Coughlin for the repairs. Michelle(from the body shop office) was seriously the nicest person Ive ever dealt with in customer service. Absolute waste of time. This company sent me an email with a trade-in value on my vehicle. Keep in mind my vehicle is an excellent condition. When I arrived they offered me $3,000 under what their offer was. They will lie to you to get you to come in to look at a vehicle. Not to mention the vehicle that I test drove was in poor mechanical condition. The vehicle had bad brakes, bad TPMS. The key fob batteries were going dead and they wouldnt replace them! Thats just lazy! Salesman Matt Dillon will lie to your face just to get a sale, pathetic. Steer clear of this dishonest establishment.

After a discussion in the beginning, where the service scheduler wanted to charge me for an issue that was covered by the bumper to bumper warranty on my vehicle, even though I had told him that I had contacted Cadillac Customer Service to verify that it would be covered, I contacted Rocky, Service Operations Supervisor, and everything went well from there. Rocky gave us his phone number, which he always answered or returned our calls, he gave us another contact person in the GM service division, Ron, who took care of all our needs, even making sure we had loner vehicles. All our issues were taken care in a timely manner and a follow-up call was made to ensure that everything was taken care of to our satisfaction. It was great three years ago... Bought our latest from a lease ending and have been unable to get the title for over a month. Every time we call, we are routed to the sales guys who try to help us, but we never hear back from the title department or the GM after leaving several messages. We finally received a title today via email, and it was for the wrong car.Best car buying experience Ive ever had from a dealer has now changed to the most frustrating and time consuming. I have mixed feelings about this business. I have bought two cars from Coughlin of Circleville; a 2006 Buick and a 2016 Ford. Both times the salesman, Brent, was very friendly and accommodating to what I was looking for. Unfortunately with both vehicles I had issues with the cars themselves. Almost immediately after purchasing the Buick I needed service and a few months after owning the Ford I needed service. The GMC service area lost my key to my vehicle when I had returned to pick up the Buick. Another time the Buick was in service I had a friend drive me by the business to see how the progress was coming and my vehicle had been done and I had not been notified. The Ford I bought needed serviced for engine issues and has currently been at Coughlin for a month and a half and I have been been the one to initiate contact for an update each time, apart from a voicemail I received two days after dropping the vehicle off. I was able to contact the Ford service GM via email and was getting responses back; however, the past two emails I have sent have not been responded to. I am generally very understanding to the pressures of working for the public and therefore am very patient when others would not be. The Ford currently is needing parts that are on back order and I do wholeheartedly understand hands are tied until parts come in, but I do believe as a customer I have the right to be updated on a vehicle I am paying for. At this point the unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness from some employees has become very aggravating for me as I am still currently paying for a vehicle I have not had in my possession for over a month. As stated prior, the salesman, Brent, is very knowledgable and great at the job as well as the finance employees I have come in contact with, but I would not recommend either service area for anyone with service needs.

I called here to talk to someone about trading in my 2013 equinox , I was directed to Shanna who seemed very helpful at first but its was a disappointing experience, its pretty typical how sales people ignore you once theres nothing in it for them Im guessing but blue book on my equinox is between $8500 and $13000 I owe $13,500 well already knowing that the negative equity would be put on my new truck loan I figured Id atleast get $10,000 but Shanna low balled me at $8,000-$9000 which I was ok with if I got the truck I wanted but Shanna never returned or reached out after she ran appraisal so if your looking for a great dealership Shanna has showed me its not with Coughlin of Circleville Id look else where for a better experience and better salesperson
