There is always a crazy long line, don’t buy anything frozen here, it’ll melt before you get out the door. Also with the recent remodel to add a separate checkout for hygiene and medical supplies, you may end up waiting in two lines before you leave. The remodel has also resulted in some sections having less product offerings (including seasonal, frozen, and the medical section itself). They need an actual designer to come in and fix the layout and efficiency of this store.

This Kroger has only been open for like 4 years and its gone downhill like crazy, especially since Covid. Apparently theft is so high that you have to buy personal care items (ie. toothpaste, tampons, shaving cream) in a separate checkout line now. They also used to have like 20 U-Scan machines along the front wall - and those have all been taken out, I assume because of theft as well. Now it takes like 5x longer to checkout than it used to. I doubt itll last another 5 or 10 years.

I had an incident last week where I was short changed getting cash back. I called the same night they were closed. Called the next evening and spoke with a Manager by the name of Jason. He took my information and said he would look into it. 5 days later, still no response. I will get through one time and ask for the manager and then I’m left on hold for 20+ minutes until it literally stops ringing.I will call back and then they stop answering the phones like they are screening my calls. I know they have caller id because the manage read my last name back without me giving it to him. Included photos of my call attempts.

Every time we go to this Kroger there are no lanes open!! All the U scans are open but Im a family of 5, two teenagers & two adults we eat good. Not to mention no lanes means long lines in a store that has so much business! We cant even buy ice cream because its completely thawed by time we get through the line. A few times I.honestly felt like walking out!! I have a 6 month old & its ridiculous having to wait like that! Especially when spending so much money.

I think, for the most part, this Kroger does the best it can. But its obvious turnover is high and it seems like a lot of things are not addressed because of it. Multiple times I have bought items only to find them expired, sometimes over six months expired. That doesnt happen without some serious issues behind the scenes. I dont mind going here but its likely going to be a bit more...hectic?...than your typical Krogering experience. Good luck.

The hours are convenient although I wish they would stay open later or even 24 hours like some of their other branches.Beside that, Kroger is a great Corporation that helps with community activities and it helps to build the area in Cincinnati and various communities around the nation.

Im at Kroger in Clifton. The store is busy at the moment but not to crowded now. The service desk at this location has very very slow service for guest/customers. There is one employee that is extremely slow. She just takes her sweet time while there will be a line of 6,7,8 plus customers at the customer service desk. Im not sure what her name is but she is a black woman and I believe she wears glasses. I normally dont complain but this happens every single time I come here to shop when she is working. She just takes her time like she could care less that she has a line of 10 customers and she will carry on conversations with her fellow employees and cut up like shes at a cocktail party. I dont want her to get in trouble but I hope that management will have a talk with her. Maybe she can call for extra help or maybe not carry on conversations with other people while she is extremely busy. I wish I knew her name but I dont. She usually works days and she always works the front counter/customer service desk.

Parking lot and front of the building is filled with rude beggers and hustlers. Return policy is archaic. No returns without a paper receipt, not even store credit. Which is ridiculous because its not uncommon to accidentally pick up expired or tampered with food from here. Nobody in 2021 is keeping receipts. They have the ability to look it up but dont. Certain specific staff members there dont know how treat others but most are nice. Store overall is understaffed. Expect long wait times at checkout. I dont recommend getting anything from here.

And the layout didnt follow the traditional supermarket layouts that everyone is accustomed to. After walking the whole length of the store I never did find the canned fruit.Kroger will tell you that this is one of the largest locations by square footage, but it doesnt seem that large. Im pretty sure most locations have more actual groceries, the rest of the footage here must be from the bar (which doesnt matter) and other areas which the average shopper wont care about anyway. And this location has far fewer checkout lanes than pretty much every other location, probably because the place is so small that they couldnt fit any more.AND its crowded.Kroger doesnt need a bar and all this other superfluous nonsense. Just stock the actual groceries and get a better layout. Id recommend going to the Kroger in St Bernard instead. That ones perfectly fine.

This refers specifically to their Click-List service. On Sunday, March 4, 2020 I went to the Kroger store in Corryville to pick up an order placed by my wife. I have used this service before, but this was by far my worst experience.I admit that I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could pull right into pick up spot number three and called to let them know I was there. The wait was longer than usual, but not extraordinarily extensive. When my order arrived, I opened the hatch and I spoke with one employee while another loaded my vehicle. The young man I apoke with was very nice, but clearly out of sorts. He apologized as he went through the items they had to cancel - quite a few things. He then said that if I knew howto read the substitution list, that would be faster than him reading each one. I think that about half of our selections were substituted. There were some real head scratchers:Ordered a pineapple - substituted with a grapefruit.Ordered a dozen Kings Hawaiian Rolls, original - substituted with the same, but savory butter (this seems okay until the next substitution).Ordered bakery croissants - substituted with a dozen Kings Hawaiian Rolls, original (what?).I sent back the grapefruit and three six packs of Sweet tea that had been substituted for unsweetened tea. Going through the groceries, he could not find the grapefruit (nor could we when groceries were undpacked), but took the tea and said he would be back with a new receipt. When he got back he said he couldnt get an updated receipt, but if we checked back tomorrow morning, everything would be updated. It is only 10AM, so I will give it more time, but no updates yet. When I got the groceries home, I found a number of other problems. A few other substitutions were not there. The deli order was incorrect - both ham and turkey were sliced at what I consider a medium thickness, which could be debated, except both were ordered as shaved. Also, received significantly more (about a quarter of a pound each) than ordered for each. Why do they ask for cut style if they just give me what they have ready? This is a consistent problem with deli orders. All in all, with missing products, the returned tea, and the feline order (which I would return if I could), the order is off by about $50. This is ridiculous.

The employee, Celestine, was extreme unprofessional and completely disregarded all the customers for her own interests. She allowed the line to grow from 2 people to 8 people while she socialized with her friends. The person at the front of the line was her friend, and Celestine decided to spend 20 minutes (no exaggeration) speaking with her friend.l that she clearly knew prior to today. I was not helped until 25 minutes after i walked into line. When it was my turn, she was eating food clearly in my face and tryin to speak at the time. She dropped food crumbs out of her mouth and began to smack her mouth and make sounds. I was extremely turned off by this action and have never dealt with such a rude encounter. It clear that she does not care about her job at all, and she is not held up to any standards. I was on my break and had to rush back to work without getting food because she decided personal conversations are more important than customers.
