We found a small leak in our family room ceiling which could only come from the roof.I was recommended by a friend to call John at Cost Saver Roofing…and i am so glad i did!!John (and Matt) showed up and did an inspection of that part and entire roof. They found multiple signs of wind damage and took a lot of photos to show me and the insurance company.After the inspection they explained the process and even made the first call to the insurance company to help get it started..From there it was pretty much seamless, painless as they explained and promised it would be.As for the repairs and install…unbelievably great!!!They scheduled the job during a break in the weather and was told they would be there at 730. They were in front of the house at 7:20…unloaded and working by 7:45.A complete tear-off, repair and new ridge vents with new roof all installed in 1 day.After completing the job, they spent an addition hour cleaning up, checking for nails in our bushes and yard…with having dogs this was very important to us.This a great company to deal with, I highly recommend giving John a call if you are in need!

I had the experience of working with Cost Savers at my parents house due to hail/wind damage. Matt Alexander (Salesperson) made this such an easy experience while communicating with the insurance company to the replacement of the roofs on several buildings. Matts explanations were clear, follow thru was great and all went smoothly.Quality of work by Hugo and crew was amazing. The crew was organized and coordinated. They worked 12+ hours the first day and finished the next day. Roofs were completed in a timely manner and a job well done. My independent inspection found no problems.Upon the crew leaving the job, I found no garbage, no damage to property in anyway and not even a nail!!Based on the above I am working with Cost Savers to replace my roof. I confidently recommend this company.

It started with a free inspection that went smooth and Andrew was awesome at explaining what he was looking for and explaining the process. We put in a claim to our insurance that day. Within a few days our insurance had sent us the funds and scheduled our installation. Andrew kept in contact with us the entire time. Installation only took a day and it looks amazing. When I first started dealing with Cost Savers, I was in contact with Caleb as my main point of contact and he was my sales person. He was very responsive, on top of any issues I had, and was super professional and friendly-even when it wasn’t his responsibility to deal with! With his customer service, I figured the rest of the company would show equal professionalism and communication but I was very wrong. My roof was done and all seemed well until they damaged my covered patio to the point where nails were piercing through the decorative panels and wood chunks were missing from underneath the patio roof. I was told it would be repaired and painted within the week of the incident occurring but it took months to get someone out and poorly “complete” the job. I called and texted the 2 point of contacts at the company (Blake and Josh) that was specifically given to me to resolve the issue and I couldn’t get a straight answer on when the work would be completed or by who and would be left with no response for weeks at a time. I finally got a response after sticking 4-5 people from the company in a group chat so I could just get the job some what completed. I had strangers show up to my home unannounced over a 2 month period to do pieces of the work for a short period of time and then not hear from anyone for a week or so. The appointments I did have with the company, they did not show up for and did not even bother informing me that they needed to reschedule-I had to call them after waiting 2 hours after our appointment window to see what was going on. The end results were nails and gutter debris all over my yard, deck, and patio and a horrible half done job to fix my covered patio. Once they got tired of using wood putty to “patch” the missing wood pieces on half the damaged area, they switched to caulk to do some more “patching” on my wood panels and then eventually got tired patching and just decided to paint over the holes instead of patching the rest. They then went over all of the different textures of “patching” with half deck paint and half white aerosol spray paint to just get the damaged area covered and all in a white color. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever dealt with on all aspects of this project other than my sales person Caleb and horrible repair job on my patio roof. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

We have a very large and complicated roofing system. I never dreamed it would be so easy to have Matt and Blake deal with our insurance company and the quick turnaround on the tear off and install was amazing. All of our concerns were quickly addressed. It was a class act from start to finish! And I have a new roof that makes my home beautiful again! Would definitely recommend!

We were in need of a new roof and windows we contacted cost saver for both. Our sales guy Matt was great help as well as owner Blake, who took care of everything from start to finish and made the whole process effortless. The roofers came out and knocked out the roof in a day and it looks great! Did a great job from start to finish clean up was exceptional no nails or old material. We also had new windows and a sliding glass door installed which look great! Tim and his crew did a great job very professional!

I purchased new windows on 8-13-2020, signed contract with co-owner, Ricky. I paid cash deposit, all cash on 1 window after installation to contractors. Mike other co-owner first accused me of not paying full cash to his contractors and left me a voicemail threatening to put a lien on my home. Mike then retracted after finding out his contractors had his money. I also have a large security system around my home which shows my wife giving, even counting the money out to his contractors on video. I used cash on one window because Ricky other co-owner told me, he would give an all-cash discount. Never use all cash with costsaver. The other window Ricky pre-authorized and signed on contract, via Wells Fargo Bank card, has full line of credit. I waited over 3 months on status of windows. Windows arrived defective, installers did not use insulation around windows upon installing. Window screens arrived ripped, do not fit. Windows have gaps around closures, can see outside. Outside air comes inside. Handle lift came in cracked. One window will not close all the way. Contacted Mike other owner at costsaver over past 5 months. Have been harassed, threatened to put home on lein, sent to collections. Mike owner and Ricky refuse to resolve faulty, defective windows. Alside stated, they comped costsaver on issues and costsaver has full 1 year warranty to resolve issues. I had to twice winterize defective windows and still costsaver refuses to remedy issues and promises made to me. I can not use windows and still have 2 layers of winterizing material over both windows to keep bugs, air, moisture out since all windows have allowed moisture inside and water beads, ice form. Costsaver Mike and Rick fully aware and Alside. This is an honest complaint, review of Costsaver. All photos are true and genuine. I have also filed complaints within proper avenues as well as the Better Business Bureu so this hopefully doesnt continue happening with possibly other consumers, customers. I have also received information from others who had similar problems with Costsaver, lack of professionalism, threats by Mike one of the owners and faulty defective products, unwilling to honor their warranty and not even professional enough to return phone calls. One woman waited almost 2 years for a resolution. I am going on almost a year and can not use windows. Co-owner Mike, I found out from Wells Fargo Bank, tried to charge my bank card that has an open line of credit before the windows have been resolved, repaired. Co-owner Mike stated via email, I am going to replace one of the faulty windows and Alside will do on site, other repairs. I agree to this months ago, only to be told a mountain of information from Alside who manufactured the windows that Mike has a full warranty and needs to honor that warranty. Alside stated they never told Mike they were doing repairs. It is an issue with Costsaver. Mike and Ricky were given a full open line of credit on Wells Fargo Bank card, signed approved by Co -owner Ricky back in August 2020. Mike, the owner was also paid cash deposit and full cash on one window that arrived faulty, contractors did not use insulation upon installation. Other window per Bank stated, until job is complete as they know as a company, they will not be paid until job is COMPLETE and ALL issues with window resolved. Mike, co owner instead of taking months of time to resolve window issues has done nothing but argue with me, threatened me and avade all calls back to me. Co owner Ricky told me he can unfortunately not do anything because Mike other owner told him, he was handling the matter. However, Mike will not return any phone calls, and refuses to remedy faulty windows, make good on promises. I have been dealing with 8 months now. This is an honest review and ACCURATE, TRUE photos. I anticipate as usual for them to create false positive reviews to cover my honest negative review. Beware as many companies will do this on Google reviews. The most honest reviews are unfortunately the negative reviews. Especially when they are attached with photos

Used this company to replace my roof due to wind damage. The salesman told me the roof came with a lifetime warranty and the warranty was transferable if you sale your home. Well that was in February and I still have no copy of my Warranty. I have text and emailed the salesman Nick and no response.. They get your money and disappear. I would not recommend these guys

Our sale guy was Matt who was totally awesome!!! I was able to text or call him with any questions I had. He would get back to me in a matter of minutes. At them time we need new gutters. I had no idea that I also need a new roof do to storm damage. Matt work closely with my insurance company and me to get the new roof. We did run into a few minor issues along the way. The owner of the company came out to make everything right and spoke to us face-to-face. This speaks volume and show they really care about their customers!!! We heard about Cost Saver Windows, Siding & Roofing through a friend that had used them. Our roof was damaged during a recent storm and we weren’t sure if we could file a claim.I called and a representative came out that same day.He did a through inspection of my roof and we called my insurance company immediately after that and we were approved for a new roof.Shortly after that tornados went through Dayton and I was worried that we would be moved to the bottom of the list and have to wait for my roof.I was pleased when we got a phone call and we were told we’d be getting our roof that next week!Our particle insurance payment hadn’t even been sent out yet!That next week a crew of hard working men came out and we had the majority of our new roof that day! They had to come back to finish up and they did that on a holiday. Our roof is amazing and we’ve had zero issues.We also purchased new gutters and they were installed over two days and those are amazing too!I highly recommend this company! Cost Saver sold my family defective windows they purchased as a client of Alside windows. Mike, prior owner fully aware of issues with two large picture windows. New owner, Mikes son Blake, refuses to use his full replacement warranty as Alside client. Instead owner of Cost Saver only wants to do repairs to almost $7,000 worth of windows that came in with manufacturer defects. MANY DEFECTS. Blake, new owner of Cost Saver, instead of honoring his full warranty as a Alside client...Order new windows that do not have multiple issues. Instead contacts family friend, attorney to handle his issues as a new company owner. We have drafty windows that you can see the great outdoors from inside our home, feeling the cold winter air. Where the upper and lower windows lock into place. Screens that dont fit. Screens that came in ripped. A cracked lift handle. Windows that dont close all the way. Blake then forgets he already got paid cash by myself, the customer for one of the windows. Instead tells friend attorney, we refused to pay??? Attorney friend of family told me on the phone that Blake did get paid. Apologize for false accusations, thats the first step of being a professional business owner, Blake Freeman. Wells Fargo on other window being financed stated, we are financing new window, per work order. Owners dad, Mike had to come out to finish their contractors work...left without sealing all windows. We now, not only lost a contract selling our home, because the buyers needed the windows replaced as we bought new windows...not DEFECTIVE WINDOWS. We had to literally use plastic weather winterizing and extra electric blankets to cover the drafty windows. While Blake Freeman, the new owner of Cost Saver, refuses to use his client full warranty offered by Alside Windows. Replacement of DEFECTIVE WINDOWS. My wife suffers from secondary oncology complications, respiratory. Their LACK OF ADDRESSING THE SERIOUS ISSUES OF THEIR DEFECTIVE WINDOWS IS A HUGE LEGAL ISSUE. NOW TURNED INTO A HEALTH RISK. Mind you...Cost Saver is FULLY AWARE of defective windows with many photos, videos and input from even Alside representatives stating that, Cost Saver has done this before to us and just wants to blame us so they dont have to pay the contractors...AGAIN. Blake Freeman, the new owner of Cost Saver, stated to my wife that any reviews done by anyone connected to this huge issue need to be REVIEWED BY HIM FIRST?!? How about taking care of #1 customer service since there are many other customers we spoke to who had or are having the same problem. People pay for NEW WINDOWS. Not manufacturer DEFECTIVE WINDOWS. As told by Alside corporate representative, The client who purchases a defective window, is under full warranty. They just need to reorder the new window or windows. Blake, new owner of Cost Saver, refuses to order new windows. Blake Freeman is only willing as he stated, to do repairs. Repairs...NUMEROUS REPAIRS on the defective windows that he bought from Alside Windows.**See photos of windows. Also after first day of installation, we had moisture across ENTIRE window and was told by owner of Cost Saver, Blake and Alside Window rep, that it was due to a moisture problem in our home. Heating, Air company who was out servicing our home later that week laughed and said, You only have your YEAR OLD humidifier set at 25. You have an issue of FAR TOO LITTLE HUMIDITY in your home. Blake, owner of Cost Saver never made another accusation, blaming me for HUMIDITY, water condensation inside windows after we realized all the window DEFECTS. Lack of knowledge on part of a company selling windows***SEE NEW PHOTOS* BLAKE CALLED ME TO SAY THEY WOULD NOT BE OUT MONDAY. SCREENS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ORDERED AND LIFT HANDLE. ALSIDE STATED THAT COST SAVER WINDOWS THEY PURCHASED ARE UNDER FULL WARRANTY. BLAKE REFUSED TO GO BY THEIR INSTRUCTIONS. MIKE, PRIOR OWNER HAD TO COME OUT TO FINISH HIS CONTRACTORS CAULKING. ALL PROOF OF PHOTOS PROVIDED. WAS REFERRED BY A CO WORKER WHO GAVE ME INFORMATION ON HOW DIFFICULT A TIME BLAKE IS TO WORK WITH.

Several years ago, we had Cost Saver replace our homes old windows. Happy to report they are functioning beautifully! I still can’t remember how they showed me to clean them (wink) but they are are very good quality and the installation experience still is one of the best home improvement experiences we’ve had. Have not seen as much savings on our energy bill as hoped - but that probably is not the windows fault.

Cost Saver was incredibly helpful in negotiations with my Insurance Co. I had documented storm damage and the Insurance Co. did not want to support the claim. Cost Saver (Josh) truly worked to get my roof approved and completed. The crew did a great job and the roof looks incredible.

Our salesman, Nick was very knowledgeable and detailed about the whole process from the beginning. He worked with our insurance company closely and kept us in the loop about everything involved with the insurance process. I have recommended cost saver to several of my neighbors.

We recently got a new roof through cost saver. The whole process was great up until the final payment. I’ve been trying for weeks to get a final bill and it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to respond! I would recommend the work but the poor communication skills need to be worked on.

I had received other pricing and CostSaver was cheaper and carried the same window as the other companies. Cost Savers replaced our roof and fixed interior damage where roof had leaked. The roof looks great! Love the color and hasnt leaked since we had replacement! Best part is they got done in a day.Very happy with the crews and the work!

We had windows replaced in our condo in 2013. It was even extra work because they had to take off our wood siding and they didnt complain or charge me any extra. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. We have two dogs and with all the doors open for two days I was worried but they were great with the dogs and making sure they didnt let them out. Weve had our windows for two years and we had one piece break so the window would not stay open, I called and they came out two days later and repaired it no problem.

Choose this company to handle my insurance claim on my roof, after insurance wouldnt change their stance on what the contractors wanted, they refused to do the repairs. What a joke.

2 months ago (April 2017) I had my roof replaced by Cost Savers. Choosing the color and design, i was a bit skeptical as to how it would look. But EJ said the colors would go well with my house. He was absolutely correct! Im so impressed with the way my roof looks. Fast forward two months down the road....Im leaving for work and my garage is leaking through the roof. Im pissed off, time to blame my new roofing company. I call them and they come out as soon as I was ready to meet them at my house. The Cost Saver employee is already at my house on my roof looking at where the leak is coming from. Turns out it had nothing to do with the roof, it was the siding from the original roof 15 years ago. There was a slight gap in the siding. I ask the cost save guy what can I do so the leak doesnt get through the siding anymore. He pulls out a caulk gun and and fixes the issue without hesitation. Understand this, it wasnt even their fault and they still fixed the issue. Im not sure how they do on windows but i can tell you right now they do a hell of a job on roofs and their customer service is the best in the business.

Top notch from project manager down to every installer!Last spring our roof was in need of replacing from storm damage. Our project manager, Greg, walked us through the whole process, helping us select the best options for our house. Greg also was able to work directly with our insurance company eliminating any back and forth on my end making everything that much easier. The installers came out and within a day and a half, over a weekend no less, installed our new roof. They were very friendly, even gave me a bit of roofing paper I was in need of for another project I was working on. The project went so well we just had them replace a small window in our master bath with a much larger window. Not only were they able to frame out the new window opening, which several local window companies would not do, their pricing was better as well. I highly recommend Cost Saver for any roofing or window needs!

Saw some signs in the neighborhood and decided to try them. The old roof was torn off and replaced with a new one in ONE day. Overall, Im very happy with the service provided and would recommend them.

We ordered windows for our entire house, were told they would deliver - install 4-6 weeks. Granted weather was an issue which we understand, but even despite weather delays it was months before they were installed. They had to come several times due to delays in delivery of the larger windows, etc which was problematic in itself. The flashing was very poorly done causing water damage on the interior. They did come out to re-do the flashing, but it is still very poorly done, not visually appealing with water collecting in the flashing. We also had 1 of 4 (71 X 71) windows installed that was installed incorrectly/was defective and not sealed correctly causing interior water damage/drywall damage. We were told the window would be replaced. We have called them no less than 10 times since June and have started tracking the dates/times that we call. Each time weve been told someone would call us back being that no one EVER returns our calls. Still no answer from them on the defective window and drywall damage that we were told would be fixed.

They did everything that was in writing. I cant fault them on that. When they told me about extra times that they Just Do I did not get any of that. For example: I was told that when they install shingles they always add Roof Ice Guards on all of the roofs edges (but was not in writing). That was never installed and when I asked them about that they told me on the phone that I paid for them, but because Lexington, KY does not require them for code they were not installed. No offer for a refund or any kind of compensation. They told me that I would get extra bundles of shingles, but again not in writing. I never got any.They subcontracted the work out. They told me that each shingle would be nailed with six nails and as I watched they clearly only nailed 5. Again nothing about the six nails in writing. This also voids the wind warranty on the shingles they installed.They claimed to give me a great rate with a large discount. It was just as high as any other quote Ive ever got from any other roofing company. What I liked about them was all of the extra quality items they claimed they would be doing. By using subcontractors to do the work, not getting ANY of the promised items, and the extra quality service missing, I would not have picked them to do the work.Buyer beware! Get everything that these guy say in writing!On one good note: I did again get every thing that was in writing, just not one thing more. They were timely and kept the roofing appointment, the guttering had to be rescheduled. Of the near 8 appointments by their sales and support staff about half were missed without even a call until days later.

They did a great job! We had our soffits, fascia boards and freeze boards wrapped in aluminum. We also had our gutters, windows and sliding patio door replaced.

At 6:05 PM on 04/26/17 a representative of stated company named Hannah Scott knocked on my door to sell products and services despite posted no solicitation signs. When I brought this to her attention and asked her to leave she became very argumentative and combative. The situation only ended after I closed and locked the door, immediately calling the police.

We had our windows installed from Cost Saver and the quality of the window is excellent. The installers that did the job Travis ,Harris did very profesinal work. They covered everything inside and out, cleaned up ALL of there trash. Looking at the view of my window in from the outside now is so stunning. !!! he wrapped it in alluminum from where he removed all the old wood and it just sets the house off now. We are very impresed and would highly recomend them

Cost Saver Windows, Siding & Roofing replaced my windows in 2010. Not only are these windows beautiful but also energy efficient. I noticed a major reduction in electric/gas bill through out the year. The sound reduction, I cant say enough good things about it lets just sum it up...alot easier to sleep in on the weekends...The professionalism and customer service that this company provides is A+ from the intinal meeting to the install the customer serivce was awesome. A year after install I called and had a question about cleaning my windows and SURPRISE the wonderful customer service was still provided. At that time I truly realized not only did a purchase a wnderful window I intrusted my home, faith and respect with a tremendous company.

They Are a awsome company they provide high quality windows that are very energy efficient. Thier workers did a greeat job and cleaned up everything when done I highly recomend them
