Eyecare on the Square is a nice quaint place to go for your eye care needs. Dr. Carly Rose is the person to see for Dry Eye as well as an eye exam for glasses. She is very nice and thorough.All of the girls who work there are very nice and helpful. I was apprehensive at first because I have dry eye and Dr. Rose gave me treatments with IPL and Lipiflow. Now my eyes are better and I go back for checkups regularly. I would rate this place a 5 Star.

Great experience. Friendly, professional staff. Dr Rose was thorough and explained everything to me. Treatment for dry eye is helping. 👍👍Unfortunately, my insurance only covers the diagnosis. The initial treatment requires 4 separate appointments, plus eyecare products, totalling $2000+. Payment plans available. A worthwhile investment, but be prepared for sticker shock.

EOTS treats you as a valued patient and not as another number in the waiting room. The space is lovely and welcoming. The staff is helpful and engaged. They care about helping you. Dr. Rose is a refreshing blend of enthusiasm, warmth and professionalism. She spends time assessing your eyesight and you know her recommendations are carefully considered. But she’s also an easy conversationalist who makes every visit with her not a task to check off of your list but a real pleasure.

Really like these folks. Nice and efficient. Always listen to me and.my.concerns. They are great at letting try different types of contact lenses. In the end I really fell like I got the right prescription with the right lenses. Its nice to see well again. Highly recommend.

The staff and doctors are amazingly friendly and welcoming. They’re professional and helpful in all aspects of the visit. I was really impressed with the way they told me what they were doing. Too often doctors just do things without telling you why and it was very nice to hear why they were performing certain tests. Also, they don’t use the air puff pressure test thing, so that deserves 5 stars outrightly.

Everyone was so kind! And extremely helpful with good information about my condition! Looking forward to working with Dr. Rose to get my eyes feeling much better!

Dr.Rose and Dr. Cartwright are excellent in patient care! Very thoughtful and patient. My lens prescription was off with my level of astigmatism from the lab and they gladly rechecked the level of distortion from lenses and reorder new ones at no extra cost. Then rechecked vision with new lenses and got it right. They are helping me with my dry eyes cause by meibomian gland dysfunction. Their whole staff is amazing!

Eye care on the square is absolutely amazing. The staff is kind and detail oriented when it comes to your eye care. They are the only optometrist that have diagnosed and worked to help treat my dry eye. I always have a great experience.

My in office experience was pretty good, there was a long wait but Dr. Rose was great. The one thing was that they tried to sell me fancier lenses than I could afford, they didn’t give me options I had to ask if there was a less expensive version. During my visit I accidentally gave them the wrong insurance (totally my bad) and later received a bill because my claim was rejected. I have been trying to get them to process the claim through the right insurance for several months but have received very little communication from the office. I have tried calling numerous times and they usually either don’t pick up or tell me they need to call me back later. I just wish I could talk it over with someone and get it resolved once and for all, but instead I just keep receiving bills. At this point I will probably return to my old optometrist even though I liked Dr. Rose more. Based on my experience in the office and with Dr. Rose I would give Eyecare on the Square 4 or 4.5 stars but because of the headache I have gone through after my visit I cannot recommend them. I will be sure to update my review if anything changes.

Such a great place. Every single staff member I came across was kind and willing to help whether it was an insurance question or which frame to pick. Dr. Rose was fabulous and explained everything in great detail that was understandable.Many frame styles snd options!

Exceeded my expectations—the detailed digital electronics eye assessments provided excellent summary reports that Dr. Rose expertly used to advise me next steps. I did not need increased prescription since my current lenses are over prescribed. I saved money due to the detailed eye exam using digital eye mapping and showing me physical eye models to relate to the analysis. In fact, my cataracts were over estimated in my January 2020 eye exam in Dallas. I moved to Cincinnati and first time using EyeCare on the Square. I am 70 and this analysis helps me avoid surgery until it is needed and improve my eye care.

I had such a great experience visiting Eyecare on the Square, the office is very nice and modern. Everyone was very polite and thorough. This was the best experience I’ve had at an optometrist, I look forward to my visits here in the future.

Beautiful office and extremely professional and intelligent staff. They treat you like family. The Doctors are always up to date with the latest technology and evidence based practices. I have been going to Eyecare on the Square for years. I love seeing Dr. Cartwright because she is always so friendly and patient with all of my questions and concerns. I like having all of my pictures and records on file with someone I can trust with my Eyecare. I know she is a very knowledgeable doctor and I always trust her judgement and recommendations. The staff is always super friendly and all of the tests they run are painless and not scary at all.

I had an appointment for an eye exam as a new patient at Eyecare in the Square today and had a wonderful experience! The staff was so friendly and personable. I purchased new frames and had to narrow my choices because they offered such a great selection, and they made it so easy! I made a definitive choice in about 10 minutes, which is amazing and I’m excited to pick up my frames. I also felt that pricing for frames and what my insurance would cover was made very clear. The safety precautions the staff is taking for Covid put me at ease as well. I would highly recommend making an appointment, you’ll receive excellent service and care!

I highly recommend going to Dr. Carly Rose if you have Dry Eye Disease. She has a thorough knowledge of this disease and understands what you are going through. She implemented a treatment plan that dry eye specialist ophthalmologists from other larger centers did not do in taking care of me. I am so glad I found her in my research for proper management of this disease. I also liked that the office is smaller than a large corporation. During this Covid pandemic, I felt much more comfortable going to an treatment center that did not have a large volume of patients in a building. Her staff is wonderful and made me feel very at ease. I am grateful that they went the extra step in opening the back door to let me into the office due to my difficulty in walking. Dr. Rose was very patient in answering my dozens of questions and treated me with knowledge and respect. Most importantly, after my treatment, my eyes are in better shape than they have been in over a year. My gratitude is beyond words.

Best optometrist ever! I saw Dr Rose for the second time today and I could not be happier. After years of wearing glasses, I am now comfortably fitted with contacts. And after years of wearing the wrong prescription from a certain big name chain, I can finally see. The staff are friendly and helpful. Dr Rose is probably the most thorough eye doctor I have ever seen and I’ve been vision impaired for almost 40 years. The staff is great! My 6 year old daughter and I went today for our eye exams and they were wonderful with her. She was able to watch them do my exam and see the images of my eyes (which she loved), etc. They also made her feel comfortable enough to relax and enjoy the exam. We also picked out frames and they didn’t mind her “helping” whether it be choosing frames for me to try on or her inquiring about frames for herself that weren’t on display (because everything should be rainbows and unicorns). We weren’t rushed. Also, they were very friendly and down to earth all while being professional and knowledgeable. They genuinely care about us and that shows.

Always so friendly and I have never felt rushed. They take the time to answer any questions I have and are naturally kind, compassionate people!

For the first time, I left my son’s eye doc appointment feeling relieved, confident, and grateful. I have scoured the internet and my insurance network for pediatric eye doctors. I have left several doctors simply because I just didn’t feel comfortable and confident in their pediatric care. I knew about Dr. Cartwright , but thought the practice was focused on adults. Boy were we missing out!! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The entire staff were so patient and kind to me and my son. Dr. Cartwright took her time and explained many things to me that the other doctors never did. My son and I are so happy to have found “his” eye doctor- Dr. Cartwright!

Second appointment and I will never go anywhere else. After years of suffering with dry, irritated eyes and multiple eye doctors...I finally have relief. Doctors are thorough and caring. Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Rose and Dr. Cartwright have both been extremely thorough in helping me with my eye problems. I have a condition that causes me to see double when I’m driving, and they take plenty of extra time with me to get my prism glasses prescription just right so everyone is safer when I’m out there on the road. Besides that, they always make me feel like family, and you just don’t find that many places these days.

There’s never been an unhappy experience for us when we visit Eyecare on the Square! Dr. Rose and the whole team go above and beyond to make myself and my son feel at ease, patiently walking him through each step of the exam and answering any questions he has.
