I went and purchased clip-in extensions from the store and what was labeled as the color #2 and also 100% human hair.. when I got home and took out the extensions it became very clear that the item was not a #2 color but a totally different color #4.(see last picture, I compared what a true #2 clip-in should look like vs the #2 they sold me) It had streaks of red in it and also red yarn and white yarn mixed with in the hair, clearly showing that it was not 100% human hair but had been blended with other material. this was nowhere advertised on the packaging that it was a human hair blend. more importantly the color was completely different. I called ahead of time and explained to the manager that the hair was completely different from what was labeled. He asked me on the phone if it was in its original condition and I told him that I had opened the package and thoroughly examined each clip in extension, although I had not worn the hair ,and he said that it was fine to come back and do an exchange. When I got there he refused to give me an exchange or my money back claiming that he could not resell the hair. So not only did he lie to me on the phone ,but I asked him why he would want to resell an item that clearly is not as described. He went on to say that there are different variations of the #2 color, which is true to a certain extent, but this was clearly not a #2 color. He didnt deny that but he kept insisting that he couldnt resell it. I think this business should be called out for advertising and selling products that are CLEARLY not as described. It was not the correct color that was marked on the package and it was not 100% human hair but a blend with other synthetic products which was also not put on the packaging. The fact that this store was willing to knowingly sell a product like this and then refuse to issue an exchange or refund once it was brought to their attention, is unacceptable!

It was clean and friendly, she was very helpful too. I had to return what I bought it was too big for my wig-and had no problem trading it in!!

I usually have great experience until 3/19/21 they accused me of stealing. They wouldnt listen to me then scurried to the back to watch cameras. The man popped back out to see if I was still there 10 mins later then went to the back for another 10 minutes. Finally he came out to look at my merchandise again turn away to tell it was mine. HE wouldnt say sorry until my back was turned and was trying to give me a mask he thought I was looking at. Not only was he running out to my car taking things out of my hands, telling me what he thought I did, ignoring me and my friend that was with me, he had me wait in display of the whole store as if telling the rest of the black people in the store to not steal from us or else! Where was ALL that energy you came running out of the store with and why was it not applied to what you think was an apology.

DONT GO HERE!!! They dont allow returns on damaged merchandise. After me Insisted on the male owner exchanging the product the African American employee gave me the wrong product. I returned to the store to exchange the product, she lied saying they didnt have the product I needed. I went to look myself and found several of the item on the shelf.She then took the item to deactivate the security sticker and one word lead to another, they call the police and refused to give me the item. I retrieved the item and called the police myself.They told the police officers that they were banning me from the store, like I would give them another red cent of my money.They follow you around the store as if everyone is a thief making your shopping experience HORRIBLE!!!There merchandise is more expensive than other stores carrying the same products.Superior in Tri-County is the BEST and less expensive!!!

I think their prices are about average. However I feel that although packed with merchandise it is neat and organized and well lighted. More of a pleasant atmosphere. I liked that there was an employee that greeted me pleasantly asking if she could be of assistance.

Where to begin. I wish I could give them zero stars. The guy that owns the place is so rude. I’ve never witnessed this type of behavior in a retail store. I refuse to spend my money there. I did find a nice wig at star wig and beauty supplies.Beware! And don’t waste your time.

First time in this hair store. Customer service was great. It was clean they even have mask and hand sanitizer at the front door for customers.

I have went to this Hair Supply Store with my 20 yr old daughter several times, they also have clothing, jewelry, lip-gloss, nail polishes & handbags. There is also a Sales Associate that works there sometimes, that is very helpful, & its not the owner or his wife ☹

They have more selections on produtcs you cant find at any of the other hair stores and the price is right: I bought hair color accessories ,and conditioner all for $15.00 and Im about saving money my new hair store.

After looking at pictures of this store and reading the two previous reviews, I decided to give this store a try today. I cant believe how great this place is! I have been in this store a few times abc everyone was nice , but the most recent time I went in this place the Asian man the owner was super rude to me I picked up a pack of hair from the wall but after I got done getting the other things I needed I decided not to get it anymore and even I went up to the counter to get rung out he kept asking me about the pack of hair what happened to it and I was like I put it back up I have hair at home and then he kept saying he did see it the hair as if he was accusing me too have stolen the hair , then when I was leaving he made me show him where the hair was and I pointed he went back to go get it and said it in the wrong place make sure u put it in the right place ,all the hair looks alike to me like I’m pretty sure I’m not the only customer that has put something back in the wrong place , I thought it was very wrong he A. Wrong he called me out in front of everyone in the store and B. He was wrong for accusing me of stealing . I’ve never been accused of stealing I was so upset . If you live in this area there are a lot of other hair stores that are ran by nice people . DONT GO TO SMART HAIR.

Won’t be back here! They treated me as if I wanted to steal the merchandise when I wanted to look closer at the merchandise! If you want me to doesn’t my $300 plus in cash then I suggest y’all stop treating the community that keeps your doors open this way! I wish there were black owned hair stores here in my area! Awful...I bought hair from their aliexpres bundle deal and it is horrible! Ive only had this hair for 3 weeks and I washed it about 2 days ago . It has been RUINED! I bought the bone straight hair and after washing it, it is sooooooooo tangled and frizzy. Even when I flat iron it , it immediately Frizzell you to twice the size it should be. No matter what Ive done to try and fix it, it is ruined. Unbelievable
