Very Kind, however didnt seem to understand what I was asking for or needed. I was looking for hair I could swim in. Didnt seem to have or wasnt overly helpful to assist me in my needs. Like I was annoying them or asking to many questions.

Yesterday I went into Cosmos at 6828 Hamilton Avenue near Galbraith Road. I have never in my life been disrespected by any man or woman as I was yesterday by the owner of Cosmos. I went to exchange a lipstick pencil I purchased a couple of weeks ago that was defective. The female sales rep that was waiting on me, listened as I explained to her that the pencil didn’t work correctly. She asked me if I wanted another one and I said yes. I only asked that I be able to open it in the store to ensure that the pencil actually worked properly. We walked over to where the pencils were located. The owner came to the front of the counter and started talking to me saying, “I have have already exchanged this for you once. “ I said, “NO SIR, this is the second time I have been in this store”. He yelled, “No it isn’t you have been in here before.” Again I said “NO SIR I haven’t.” He started to walk from behind the counter screaming at me saying “I have exchanged it and I won’t do it again.” We went back and forth as I tried to help him understand that he had me confused with someone else. At this point I felt threatened by his behavior as he moved closer. I started to get upset. He started to yell at me telling me to get out of his store before he called the police. Now I’m really upset! I said to him “so all black women look alike.?” He yelled for me to get it now! He continued to accuse me and yell. At this point I’m so upset to my core. I had my granddaughter with me so I left and put her in the car and went back into the store. I said to him “since $5.99 means so much to you, you can have the pencil back. So I throw it in the store and left. Now if my husband was with me it would have never gone down the way it did. Why did that man feel like he could speak to me the way that he did. Hell no!! That is unacceptable. You want me to treat you with respect then so do I. When I go into an establishment they want me to treat them with respect and I expect the same. My grandma would say treat people how you would want to be treated; with respect. I’m asking my family and friends not to shop in Cosmos until they learn how to treat us. African American women put good money in their pockets every day, and we are supposed to take this kind of treatment? HELL NO!! African American women have a huge buying power in these stores and this owner took my business for granted.

I dont think I will be going back. UNHAPPY with the customer service there. Chinese or Japanese watching everybody like they stealing.You in a predominantly black neighborhood. We work for a living and you need us to make money. You selling afro-american products. We dont have to patronize you. We can go somewhere else.

This is one nice salon... I dont like how they forgot about me after my pedicure, but I think Ill try them again...

Nice variety of haircare and cosmetic products. There is a $5 minimum to use a debit or credit card, which I dont like anywhere. But the store overall is a good place to grab your hair stuff.

Very pleasant people who work here and are more than helpful. The products are reasonably priced and affordable. I go out of my way to shop here because they are not hovering over and watching your every move while you shop and they arent just trying to make a sale, they actually know about the products they sell!!! Which is key!

Friendly service minus the typical stalling that happens in hair stores.

Everytime I go in their, which was twice they always ask if i need help. They always look at me a lil wired and i think thats because they think im going to steal something , but idk. Thé guy who helped didnt have the hair i want and gave me krochet instead of what i needed.

Im not a hair professional and what I can do is limited. I like that this store has a lot of options for crochet styles.

Never go this store there is a worker in there that’s very rude and ugly she short and black with a nasty lace front in her fat head and look like a bubble guppie please go to a different store we’re you can get better customer service like amazon they lucky I can’t give them a zero

This hair supply store has everything youll need for your hair, but the prices are soooooo high. Much more than others and when I asked the owner about it he said its because they have quality items. Other hair supply stores carry the same items at much lower prices. So I dont think Ill be going back
