Lane recommended these tires to me. They are Cooper tires which were on sale are perfect for my budget and driving needs. They not only look great, they give a quiet ride but also do great on wet roads. As always the tire installation was great as was the alignment which was free. The customer service is great, The work was done quickly so I waited on it. Thanks Lane and Tire Discounters. Great Job!

Ive been a long-time customer of several Tire Discounter stores in the area going back 15+ years, but Ive used the 5-mile store the most. I took my vehicle in for an alignment, and got 4-5 primer-deep scratches in the paint for free! I knew it was going to be a rough day when I saw the technician climbing in and out of my vehicle with greasy hands, but its part of the job working on cars so no biggie. Unfortunately the multiple scratches in the paint I discovered later changed my perspective. Its always tough to lay blame in these situations as rarely can you prove anything, but due to the pattern of scuffing and smudges, the location of damage being specific to the work performed, and my attentiveness to my vehicle, I have to honestly lay blame on careless service and/or a general lack of respect as shown by the attached photos.

I was trying to get out of town on a Friday night and realized I had nails in my tires. I went in at five pm and they replaced my tires quickly and were done before they promised. Best tire place ever!

Used the pick up drop off option and had brake work done. The drivers were timely and courteous. The repair tech kept me updated and even though it took a little longer than I expected they made sure to call with progress. I am very satisfied.

Lane was very pleasant, 4 tire install and alignment went quickly. However, after install, I checked all 4 wheels for possible damage (has happened in the past). Sure enough all 4 have scratches on them from the machine which removes the tires. Luckily I have photos I took in the lot right before going in to have the tires installed. They said it will be 3 weeks before the damage can be repaired. At that time I will readjust this review.Update 1/11/21. After not hearing back I contacted them and they stated they had an incorrect phone number for me. They stated it would be about another week and a half until they are able to get me in. Again after not hearing back I contacted them again on 2/10/21 and spoke with AJ. He requested photos of the before and after. He then scheduled me to come in on 2/17 to have the wheels repaired and it would take 3-4 hours to fix them. A few hours later Aj called back and said they were completed. I asked who did their work and he stated Dent Wizard. Upon inspection the rims looked better. There were some small marks remaining but figured the enemy of good is better and I would live with it.On 3/3/21 I washed my vehicle by hand using the same products I have since I bought it back in 16. Most of the wheel damage has reappeared including hazing which wasnt there before! Called and spoke with Lane who still hasnt called back.

Took my mini van in late Monday night. Had a call about the problem before they closed that night. It was finished before I expected the following day. Lane was super awesome. He even called to make sure everything was good on van and wished me a safe travels back to the state I currently live in. He even remembered the exact state I currently reside. This location will become the primary car place for my vehicles when I move back to the area this summer. I will request Lane.

I was told I needed to replace my lug nuts (Ford) because they have swelled over time. In my research Ive read where the swelling is due to over tightening the lug nuts with an impact wrench. That means TD really created this situation when I get my tires rotated. Doesnt quite seem right that a situation created by your companys work would cost me money.

Great place to get your oil changed

Was told by receptionist that they had time to do my wheel bearings. Took it in at 8 am and they hadnt even looked at it by 3 pm. And they closed at 4. Had to go pick my car up without it getting fixed.If they didnt have time, then they should have told me to bring it in another day and not have wasted my time. This is 3 strikes youre out tire discounters. Not bringing my car back to you.

Car had grease/dirt on dash and door of my vehicle upon pickup. Staff was less-than-perfect. The person at checkout shared no details about the work performed, and simply put my keys and the invoice on the counter with no thanks, thank you, nothing. Just disappointed.

Fast and friendly service, they dont try to up sell you on anything and if you know what you need and tell them they get straight to it. Even on busy days they can usually get your car done in an hour or so for oil change or tire plug

The Five Mile Tire Discounters used to be my go-to place for tires and such. Not anymore...the new manager is a dishonest conman.We got tires for our minivan there so I went in to get the free tire rotation. He proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t rotate my tires because the “tread on the front tires was too low”. Rather than provide the service they were obligated to perform, guy decided he’d rather lie to me and say I needed new tires. Couple problems with that:1. I had literally been at Toyota the day before getting the oil changed and they said the tires were fine and were going to rotate them, but it was $20.2. Car is front wheel drive, so yeah, the tires up front should have the better tires. Mental midget either knows nothing about cars or hoped I didn’t know enough to realize he was full of it.3. Unfortunately for him, I’m not a mechanic, but I know enough about cars to see that there was still plenty of tread on all 4 tires.I ended up taking my car home and rotated the tires myself. Sure I could have done it myself in the first place, but one of the reasons I got tires at Tire Discounters was so wouldn’t have to do it myself.Stay away. Stay far, far away.

Absolutely horrible experience with this company and the location on Five Mile rd. Purchased tires from this place and opted in for the tire maintenance plan. Brought the car back for an oil change, tire rotation, and a slow leak in one tire. Was informed that my car needed a new valve stem, rear brake job (brakes were replaced by a dealership just before buying the tires), a rear shock replacement, and a new muffler. Declined the additional repairs but requested they replace the valve stem and rotate tires.Took them over 3.5 hours to change the oil, rotate the tires, and replace a valve stem. After they finally finished and I went to leave, I noticed my tail pipe was dangling. (It was fine when I brought the car in). Then, I noticed the tire pressure monitor was still on and they had failed to put 3 of the 4 caps back on the valve stems. I brought these to the advisor’s attention. They denied breaking the tailpipe and unfortunately I couldn’t prove it otherwise. The advisor said he would have the tech look at the sensors again. When he returned, he said another valve stem now needed replacing AND in front of other customers, he claimed I was mistaken about the stem caps and urged me to see that all 4 caps were on. (They put the caps on after I brought it to their attention)Overall, Tire Discounters at Five Mile rd was dishonest and untrustworthy. They basically lied about damaging my tailpipe, they were incorrect in assessing the need for new rear brakes, they covered up the fact that they forgot to put valve stem caps back on the vehicle, and they embarrassed me in front of other customers. I would urge anyone to avoid doing business with this company!

Bought my tires there a year ago, took them back to get a leak plugged, after 3 hours, the car still sat in the lot untouched. I went to get my keys from the desk to leave without getting my tire fixed only to find they had left the car RUNNING after checking the mileage. For THREE HOURS THEY LEFT MY CAR RUNNING. Not going back.

I used to work there so I know their procedures and that they do more than other tire shops and even though they arent the cheapest theyre still close to it.

PLEASE do NOT get anything done here!! I had to get a patch for one of my tires for my RAV4, but got told that they are all almost worn and that theyd put new tires on. I got a $790 bill and immediately called them telling them to NOT put those tires on my car. I said to just put my old tires on because Im going somewhere else. Ten minutes later I got a phone call. Do you want to guess what happened? They already installed the tires and said its ready to go. The only place those tires are going is back on the diamond leather rack they apparently sit on and that place is never getting a penny from me ever again. Unless you love to spend lavish amounts of money and not be listened to as a customer, NEVER come here.

This Tire Discounters location has always gone above and beyond to help me with my jeep. I am so thankful to have found a local place with great service I can trust. Holly is the best. Previously was a loyal customer but will never return. Brought my car in for an oil change and was the first customer in line when they opened at 8. Was told that they had a few appointments, but that I could get the car in 4-5 hours. Called at 2 pm for an update and was told that my car was next in line. No word at 530 so I called again. Now I am told that they could maybe get me in tomorrow. I tell them never mind and go to get the car. Upon arriving the employee calls me a liar and says that I was never told the car would be ready that day, despite me being told that twice during the day. No apology and didn’t seem to care at all that they wasted my entire day. It would have been fine had they told me they couldn’t get me in that day, but don’t promise something you may not be able to deliver. Definitely don’t call your customer a liar. Lost my business and I will be sure to tell anyone looking for auto work to avoid this store.

Went in for an alignment service (around 100 dollars), half an hour later they tell me that I need 600 dollars worth of repairs and that my cars parts were recalled by the manufacturer. After listening to their lies, I did my research and found that there was never a recall. I then got my alignment done somewhere else. Make sure you do your research before these Trusty mechanics recommend a hefty repair to your car.

I cant say enough great things about Tire Discounters, especially their 5 mile location. I had a car with a completely flat tire at home. Unable to fill with compressor due to broken seal and extreme cold weather. I used their on line chat and was able to arrange for my car to be towed in the very next day. Once there, the customer service was superb. Chad, Lane and DJ were delightful to work with! They were super busy with so many customers in need due to inclement weather. This particular car of mine is not my primary vehicle so I told them to take whatever time they needed to help those who were in greater need. When I called a week later, I was told my car was ready and that there would be NO charge. I literally teared up with gratitude. Unbeknownst to them, I had had a series of unfortunate events. Receiving such cheerful, seamless customer service and at no charge to boot was just what I needed t remind me there are gracious kind people out there.

Purchased 4 new tires, with alignment and balancing. The balancing was not done correctly, so had to bring it back to have that re-done. They were supposed to save one of the original tires that was still in good condition, which they forgot to do and when I called the next business day to find out if we could still have the tire, the employee never called me back about that or about scheduling an appointment to have the balancing re-done.

Once again a great experience. Have dealt with Lane for 20 plus years. Very good customer service. My daughter drives this car and made the appointment. I took it in and Benjy waited on me. Appointment at 9:30 to change oil, check brakes, rotate tires and do brake fluid flush. Called within hour to give me options and price. Called shortly after noon to say it was ready. Also spoke to Chad who remembered me and thanked me for my business.Seriously appreciate a place to rely on especially since its my daughters car. Great job once again!!

Highly recommend. Excellent service at a fair price. Screw in my tire after driving only 2,000 miles in a brand new car; it was a horrible day. Able to schedule an appointment online and get in same day to have my tire fixed. Even took the time to put my jack, donut tire, and everything else back in its place after I left it all over the place in the trunk. $30 and an hour to get my tire fixed. I was treated with the absolute best service and respect. Highly recommend and will be a repeat customer in the future. Thanks, guys!

Had to schedule an appointment the week prior to get a Saturday appointment. Work was satisfactory. I could not pick up my car that day so I paid over the phone and they were supposed to lock my keys in the car. When I arrived on Sunday, the car was unlocked, and there was dried sweat dirt on the outside of the door, the inside door handle, and on the steering wheel. Yuck

As always when I come to Tire Discounters service was great. This time I brought in a tire off my wife’s car with a screw in the tread. The guys at the store knew it was a patchable problem and said they could patch it with no problem. They never once tried to put pressure on me to buy new tires like other shops would. That’s why I keep coming back to this Tire Discounters, because of their honest, and great service.

Have been going to this store for years. Benji and Lane have been good. Had new tires and level kit put on truck. Came back next day told them not only sounds bad drives bad. Told Chad that I dont think something is right. Gave me a list of things to buy on line. Get them bring back and pay them for installation. First time on 275 highway at 5 mile less than 50 miles since work done ball joints come out of socket lost brakes and steering at 75mph. I could have been killed!!!!!!!!!!!!! or someone else. Had it towed to store $2000 to fix,(not one apology) called back said no thanks I will go a different direction to get recourse DJ then drops price to $1200(I buy parts they cover labor). No thanks again I could have been killed or what if my son would have drove it and that happened to him????? Highway at 75 mph when wheel and all components come off and nothing from Tire discounters!!! Dont go there!! Your safety is more important.

We had to take our 2013 Kia Soul in unexpectedly to replace our tires. The gentleman in the show room (unfortunately, Ive forgotten his name; big guy, beard, super friendly) was extremely knowledgeable about his products and, even though we spent more than expected, we made a very informed decision that we felt very good about because he inspired a lot of confidence. Will definitely continue to come back here as needed

Went twice for an oil change and tire rotation. First time took about 2 hours, and they tried to charge me $350 for new brakes and rotors. Paid $25 to change the breaks myself, and rotors did not need to be changed liked they stated. Second time I went, it took 2 and a half hours. Only good is the cheap oil change prices. Will not be coming back here.

Never take a vehicle to them again. Was quoted a price by the manager and when I went to pickup my vechicle was charged an additional 300.00. What happened to quoted prices. Was never called to tell me the price would be higher. And of course the manager just happened to leave. Shame on you for doing this to people.

Very good. I came in early on a MOnday before a holiday to get a free tire rotation and balancing done on my Tire Discounter tires. Lane did a great job of fitting me in a busy schedule. I dropped the car off and did a morning jog for about an hour and when I jogged back to the store the car was done waiting for me.

Benjy was great and very informative. He showed me all the options and not once pushed the expensive tire, and allowed me to make a well educated decision on my purchase. When I found out I would not be able to return in time to get my vehicle, he accommodated my needs and made sure I was still able to pick up my truck. GREAT SERVICE!!! Will always be a customer there.

I took my car there to get a tire patched. They had a full schedule but offered to try to fit my car in between appointments if I could leave it with them. Sure enough, my phone rang in a few short hours that they were finished! They were so accommodating, professional, and quick, thanks so much!

I never write reviews but this place was awesome. Bought my tires about year and a half ago and ended up with a nail one this past week. I was not the smartest and did not do the hazard plan. They hooked me up and helped patch the flat for a great deal . All the customer service was great. I am a customer for life

Lane, Chad, and the rest of the crew always make it a pleasure to bring my car in. They always smile and greet me warmly. Plus they get my car in and out quickly. The waiting room is nice as well. Cant ask for more than that!

Fantastic service. I went in on a busy day (a Saturday afternoon). I honestly wasn’t sure if they would even be able to get to my car (which would have been totally understandable). They not only fixed my slow leak in my tire, but they also looked into an issue I was having (which ended up being a wheel bearing). They didn’t try to up-sale me by telling me to get new tires for the slow leak. They were honest about my needing new tires some time in the fall (which I have marked already to be done in my own calendar). I am returning next week for the wheel bearing issue since they quoted me such a reasonable price for it to be replaced. I wish I could rate them higher!

We had a situation in which we had to buy 4 tires, but we could have only 2 put on at that time and had to have the other 2 and the alignment at a later date. NO problem and NO extra charges! The guys are great to work with and very accommodating.

I’ve been using Tire Discounters over 20 years and always a good experience—until now. Simple task. Oil change and middle brake light out. Had 1 p.m. appointment but left car there at 12:30. No calls so wife called at 5. Some story about wrong bulb sent by part supplier. Assumed it would be fixed. Again no call. Daughter called again at 6 and was told car was ready. Picked up car and brake light not repaired.If you tell someone car is ready for pickup then I assume everything was addressed. Mechanic gave some excuse and said my wife misunderstood. Nope, he didn’t explain correctly. And failed to follow through.Chad the manager comped the oil change which was nice but I wanted the brake light repaired. Asked him to call me Wednesday (yesterday) to let me know about the part. No call. Said he was going to contact dealer. No call.I researched it 2 minutes on eBay and found an OEM brake light assembly for $86. I’ll fix it myself since Tire Discounters failed me this time. Bad customer service.

Had my car towed there to have a tire replaced, needed the car back quick. Came back In the morning and explained I needed the best deal possible, broke college student. He said it was no problem, looked like their cheapest tire was around 95 installed. Didnt get a call until 1 pm to tell me it was done and that the tire was going to cost 150 after tax. No confirmation call of any sort, just went ahead with it. Wont be going back.

Wifes car had a nail in a rear tire. She needed to be in Louisville three hours later. Got to store at lunch time and some staff were gone for lunch. Lane took control and repaired the tire himself so my wife could get to her appointment on time. This over the top customer service by Lane and all the staff at the Five Mile location is the norm, not the exception. This extra effort was very much appreciated.

I tried to make an appointment online. It let me choose 3 times and said they would call to confirm which appointment I got. No call. Stopped in at 4:30 told them I needed 4 tires. No problem he said. I had to pick someone up first and told him Id be back at 5. Came back dropped off keys and told him I wanted my back tires to sell. I was only replacing all of them so Id have a matching set. No problem he said. Came back at 6:30 car was not done. I told him again that I wanted those tires. Didnt get finished for another HOUR!! I leave get have way down the street and decided to pull over and look for my tires. They forgot!! Go back they had my tires mixed up with everyone elses. He gives me 2 tires, assures me they are right. I get home, nope they gave me one of the good tires and one bad tire. I am so pissed. Dont go here. They dont care how long you wait they just want your money. The store manager is rude and the employees are idiots.

I’ve been going to the Five Mile Tire Discounters for years for my tires. They have been great with selection and priceing. I have an older Camry that runs incredibly well for its age and mileage. Unfortunately it had some major issues. All the staff are friendly and competent. DJ went above and beyond what any other service manager would do. He worked with me for 3 months (yes, 3 months) to figure out the problems ( yes, fix one issue than another would fail ). I have my car back and it runs like a new car. DJ and staff I sincerely thank you.
