Ive sent people here because their warranty is worth slightly higher price on game stuff. but they didnt honor some warranties I had through them screwing me out of 130 dollars. Done doing business here now

We use to love going here. The workers were very friendly and helpful. But today was a horrible experience. The worker told my daughter she couldnt come in because the store reached there 5 person capacity and so I gave my son my credit card to make my purchase so my minor daughter wasnt standing outside by herself. The worker told my son that he couldnt do two separate transactions (my transaction and my sons transaction) so my son had to pay for it together. This is completely unacceptable and I will no longer be giving them my business!

Staff here are wonderful, knowledgeable, and have excellent customer service skills. Even through this shutdown, they still help to get customers what they need and help them to find what they are looking for. They deserve a shout out.

Helpfull staff and good service

Went in recently with some old Xbox 360 games and purchased a few PS4 games. Two guys that where working where both awesome. Answered any and all questions. Smiled, joked and new their stuff. Will be going back here just because of them.

The workers are always nice and always make sure you dont need anything and help you nicely when you do need help. But I would definently look online and look at all game prices everywhere else. A lot of their games are over priced, you can find cheaper somewhere else. Shop around a little before you go here! (:

I dont know what happened since I have always had good service here in the past but recently the employees have become rude, unhelpful and honestly pretty hard to be around. Its honestly worth the drive to Oakwood Mall to avoid this place IMO.

I used to purchase many games here for my kids. Last Christmas I purchased a playstation vr bundle for the kids. Now the screen started glitching out and going black I purchased the extended warranty. I go in today and they say I only purchased a year extended warranty, which apparently starts on date of purchase. Why would you pay for a year extended warranty when you are given a year from Sony anyways? I was told at purchase that I had a 2 yr warranty. They were very misleading and apologized if it was not told me me correctly. Well an apology does me no good. Im out the $300 and no help to fix the headset. I will no longer purchase from any game stop ever again. They have no customer loyalty.

After looking it up online, we discovered our local Game Stop (Lake Hallie) would purchase video games from customers. We had recently bought a game for the wrong game system so we decided to sell it there. Upon arriving, the store clerk was very rude and uninterested in providing this service they advertise online of buying games and stated he couldn’t accept the game because my fiancé didn’t have a receipt. I went into the store to show him our receipt of the game purchase which included the bar code sticker on the game. The sales associate would not even look at the receipt, and changed his mind saying he couldn’t accept the game because it was in the packaging. This was very frustrating because of his unprofessionalism. Instead of coming up to us at the counter he chose to yell across the store at us without taking the time to see what we were wanting to accomplish. We will not being going back to game stop due unprofessionalism of the staff. Don’t advertise a service if the staff doesn’t want to follow through or is unknowledgeable with the service.

Recently bought the new mortal kombat. I wanted to get the preorder bonus but was too late. I was reassured when the website said that if others didnt pick up their copys within 48 hours theyd be up for grabs. The workers their denied that that had ever been a rule and still asked for an ID, despite my full beard. They also failed to mention that I could simply buy the character I wanted on the Microsoft store, making that all pointless. The only reason its a two star review instead of one is that Ive had decent service in the past. It is still better than the one at the oakwood mall. One last piece of advice. If you do go here ask to be served by anyone except Caden.

One Gamestop is like all the rest. They jump you when you enter and wont leave you alone. I just wanna buy a game and leave.
