Exceptional service but quality of work is 2/10.Edit: I came in Friday afternoon to get 2 shocks assembled. Big plus for being available and for a low price. However, the work was really unprofessional (took longer than I would have done myself, dropped my parts on the ground and damaging it, and assembling incorrectly and I had to correct it). The mechanic was nice and really helpful and the price was very affordable but again the work was not done up to par as other shops.I would recommend only to people who knows well about cars to work with the shop and keep an eye on the work being done. Not for people who have no idea about cars and just want something fixed; most likely the shop will mess something up.

Had a lot of issues with my Mini Cooper countryman engine misfiring and engine error codes. It would randomly short out to half power. Went to the dealer and they gave me a quote for about $6000 to possibly fix the problem... then I brought it to Jays. He actually explained what was wrong and fixed it a fraction of the cost. Jay knows what hes doing and he is the only person who touches my car now. The most knowledgeable mechanic in the area and will clearly explain the best solutions. Also has a super clean and comfortable waiting area. Jays is the best!

Had an issue with my truck and it saw 3 different mechanics plus the dealership none of which could figure out what the issue was and spent over a $1000 in parts recommended by these other shops and Stealership. Brought in to J and he figured it out in a day. Jeremy sure knows his stuff and is extremely knowledgeable And I can attest to the high quality level of work he performs if you are looking for a real mechanic and an honest place this is your spot

Waited over an hour (11:45-12:55) because the sign in the door said theyd return at noon. No one is here. Knocked on the door and nothing happened. Its now nearly 1:00 and still no change. Sign in the door still says theyll return at noon. Thanks for wasting my time.

We came across Jays Auto Repair on the Chino Connect Page. We read a review from an Anthony and decided to take a chance with Jays Auto repair . We are beyond words with Jeremys honesty and professionalism.We have a 2007 Corvette and Jeremy worked meticulously to validate a poor job done eleswhere. We all need to get the word out on Jays Auto for their good customer service. Good Job Chino Community for getting to word out.
