This is one of the best shopping spots in Chico. Great produce, great prices. They have these buns with a purple filling that are amazing. With the House of Rice gone from downtown this is one of the few places to locally get certain teas and treats. Always a pleasure to shop here.

Amazing hole in the wall shop. Everything you can think of to make Asian dishes. Staff is very helpful and friendly. He showed us where things we need were our first time coming into the shop. Prices are very cheap too!

I recently moved to Chico from Sacramento. In Sac asian markets have really taken off within the last ten years. Being someone who was raised there though, MNY Oriental market takes me back to when I was a child. When the local asian market was just a small shop that was crammed with amazing ingredients that are hard to find and amazingly priced.Its nostalgic but definitely a positive outlook on this place. I hope they can grow and expand in the future.With that said... The selection at this place is incomparable to others when you are looking for asian ingredients in the area. The people who run this place are knowledgeable and always willing to help you find a product. So, if youre in the area and want to find some amazing ingredients at good prices, definitely stop by.

This family-owned ethnic market has tons of authentic foods at good prices. They have ingredients you cant find elsewhere, and they have imported snacks and drinks that my kids love. The cashier is friendly and engaging. My family enjoys visiting this market.

My To-Go store! The owners are really nice and sociable. They always sell a variety of food and drinks of the same flavor (brand difference = different taste). I love the fresh veggies and frozen food to the canned aisle! Definitely a place to check out for Hmong items (ointment, skirts, pot/pans) and foods. :)

Love this sweet Asian Grocery Store. They have a great assortment of noodles, sauces, and spices to cook Vietnamese food, and stir fries. Also love their fresh Asian vegetable section which includes mushrooms, tofu, green leafy produce for soups and stir fries.

Its cold and rainy. I wanted to make pho. Ive never made it before, but everyone says its medicine for the soul. I went to M N Y Oriental Market to get ingredients, and the cashier was very helpful. I told him I was making pho, and he helped me find the fresh rice noodles, pho spices, and suggested other ingredients I might like. Very friendly, very helpful, and I found everything I needed. This is service that you dont get at bigger grocery stores.

Love love love their papaya salad 😋With the current pregnancy, I crave fresh foods and spicy foods. Hence papaya salad hits the spot. I have a wonderful husband who buys papaya salad from this place almost every other day. I am just so grateful they make the delicious papaya salad whenever I want and I have a husband who would get it anytime I ask. My favorite Asian store in Chico ♥

Hours say close at 7pm. Every time I go in the evening after work between 6-7pm, they are closed randomly. Frustrated because I drove all the way out here and they are closed

Small market, a little expensive, but thats because there is no competition, or not too many other places to get real Asian stuff. This place sells more SE Asian items.

I drive here from Oroville because they have the best selection in Butte County. The only place you can you get pho spices prepackaged so you just throw it in, szechuan peppercorn, black vinegar, and all the other stuff that real Eastern cooking is about. Kick it up another notch guys, throw in some cooking demos, gourmet soy derivatives, better product presentation esp. in the freezer section.
