I have received excellent service from the people at Chico iStore. I was in the market for a refurbished phone for my daughter and they set me up with exactly what I needed at a fair market price. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and friendly. Five stars Plus!

I took my 8+ in to get a little crack fixed at the top of my screen. I was told there was only one phone ahead of me so it should only take 45min to an hour to be fixed, just in case I gave them an hour. I walked in expecting my phone to be fixed but instead I was told it was now worse. Somehow during the repair my home button was damaged and now it doesn’t work at all. I was questioned on weather or not it was actually an 8+ because he thought he might be a seven and that’s why it wasn’t working. He then tells me to take it to someone else in town who could maybe fix it, but they would have to order the parts and that could take a while. For my troubles though I got a new home button (that doesn’t work) and the screen fixed for free..😡🤬😡

I had a fantastic experience with everyone at the Chico iStore! The store was clean and had a very relaxed vibe to it. I had the screen replaced on my phone because my son thought itd be fun to drop my phone down the stairs! Hector had it was done within the hour with no issues. He did a great job and my phone looked like new! I was told about their warranty and left feeling great about the whole experience. Definitely recommend!!!

My phone was quickly dropped in water and although it claims to be water resistant it shut off. I was worried my phone was done for. I brought my phone in that day. I was kindly greeted when walking in and explained the problem. I was told there was no fee for the diagnosis and should hear back in a few hours. As explained I received a call in a few hours and my phone was fixed! I was so grateful to have it back and working so fast! I will recommend them to everyone!!! It was a great experience!

Went in to get two phones fixed . One for an nfl style spike broken screen, the other for the ol “ oops nacho cheese dropped in my speaker and it doesn’t work anymore”. 5 stars for honesty. I had a software issue and left my phone with them to try to (1) fix the home button so they can (2) hard reset it. It fixed itself so they didn’t charge me anything.

I shattered the screen on my iPhone last night and because its just a few days before Christmas I was expecting a long turn around if it was even possible to fix before we have to leave town tomorrow morning.The girl at the store was so kind and knowledgeable. I took my iPhone 6 in this morning around 10:10am to replace a broken screen. He said it would be 30 minutes. I ran to the shoe store down the street and told him I would be back in 30 minutes. He didnt mention leaving. I got back to the store at 10:35am and there was a sign saying he wouldnt return until 12pm. So I had to wait around town until noon with no phone 1 1/2 hours from home. I got back to the store about 12:05pm and he hadnt even started he phone. It took him about 5-10 minutes to fix screen. He handed me the phone and my home button was not working correctly (it worked perfect when I left the phone). He acknowledged that the button was now not working and showed me I could make it work even though it wasnt working properly. He then made excuses and then said he could take the bottom screws out and it would work (it still didnt). Now I have an iPhone that I have to keep hitting the home button before it will finally bring up the home screen. I have done seen research and it seems as though this is an ongoing problem with the store.

Worst customer service ever. I came in on a Friday to get my screen, battery, and charging port fixed. They told me 2 hours tops and said theyll give me a call when its finished. So I went back home and waited. I never received a phone call. according to their website they are open from 10 am to 6 pm but they actually close up at 4pm everyday. I called them several times and asked if they would stay up until 4:30 so I can pick my phone up. Every time I showed up at 4:30 to pick my phone up they were already long gone. So in order for me to pick my phone up I had to request time off work. When I went to pick my phone up a week after I dropped it off, they gave me my phone with only the charging port fixed. They didnt fix my screen or give me a new battery. If the employee wasnt so drunk he couldnt even talk straight he probably wouldve been able to fix all the things I asked to be fixed. Long story short, im never going back there ever again.

Theyre a rip off.. took my phone to get the screen fixed and not only did they charge me $170 for a bad screen, but they also kept a few pieces from inside of my phone that later messed my phone up. The new place I took it to charged me $110 for a new (GOOD) screen, but they also put the missing pieces back in for no charge.

Quick, kind, and helpful every time I’ve come in. When they didn’t have the screen cover I was looking for in stock, they offered me a different style to try out, and if I’m not into it they’ll replace it with the screen I wanted initially when it’s in stock!

Repairs and parts were satisfactory. The customer service left more than a little to be desired. I actually felt as though they were avoiding me for over a weeks time. Once I finally got ahold of someone, the device was ready within an hour or so.I enjoyed the vibe of the store, and the people were very nice... The customer service was just horrible.

I dont know what these posts about not getting their phones back for weeks, but maybe it has to do with CNNs FAKE NEWS. Jokes aside... I spoke to Tyler for about 20 minutes while he fixed my iPhone 6. He is the type of entrepreneurs that are going to go far. Great customer service and saved me a big headache of buying another $800 iPhone with no data.

Took IPhone SE in for a broken screen on Thursday. Went to pick it up Friday during business hours and they were closed. Never returned our call. On Monday we called and they said they couldnt fix it. It wouldnt turn on. They wanted to just give us a non working phone back. A week later I finally picked the phone up and took it to another istore. After inspection I was told not only did they put an IPhone 5 plate in they also used the wrong screws. Using too long of screws drilled into the motherboard of my phone making it unrepairable. There was also still a screw loose inside my phone. its likely the good reviews were written because they will give you a free item if you write the review and show them. I would not reccomend going there and if you have and have been screwed over I suggest you take further action so people will stop getting ripped off.

Phone had been acting up for a while. Brought it in to Tyler and he got it all straightened out. Very fast service too. Came back later in the day at my convenience and now the phone works like new. Thanks!

Needed a screen replaced and new battery on my ipad. They went ahead and did the replacements. Got it done in half the time estimated and it looks great.HOWEVER... after the work I asked for estimates from three other stores for the same work. All three were much less expensive as I paid $264 here compared to other quotes of $180, $150 and $140. Now I have buyers remorse. I should have shopped around first.

Honestly some of the most pleasant customer service Ive ever experience with any electronics. They fixed my phone for free after the guys across the street jipped me for 70$ (and didnt even replace the part he said he did)! I just took it across the street to iStore and he completely fixed it. Couldnt recommend them more.

Purchased an iPhone 5 here for my little sister. Within 2 weeks the phone stopped holding battery power. Took it in to them, and they immediately knew it needed a new battery. Now a couple months later after the new battery, the phone does not turn on anymore. I would not recommend getting a phone here. It seems that they use old batteries and know that they will not work for long. Not pleased what so ever.

If i could put 0 stars I would. I paid for a phone screen just before Halloween. I am two weeks out of warranty with my phone and the best they can offer is 20% with a tempered glass.Within 2 days of installment the screen was loose and white paint had chipped underneath. It is very clear they are using cheap and poor quality materials for a high and competitive prices. Their warranty policy is also very misleading as it does not cover physical damage. I am very unhappy with this service and I wouldnt recommend this business to my worst enemy. Not only that, I was hung up on and my order history was never reviewed - very unprofessional.

Took a few involuntary swims on a whitewater trip with my iPhone 6S in my chest pocket underneath a dry top in a Lifeproof Case. As luck would have it, a trickle of water breached the case and fried the phone screen. I dropped it off at iStore and returned a few hours later. He was able to fix my phone without even replacing the screen. Apparently he just had to take it apart and clean up some moisture and corrosion. Handed it back and didnt even charge me for the service. Works perfect so far. So needless to say my experience was a good one and I will be back the next time I break the thing.

Non existent service.Dropped off phone on a Wednesday, said theyd get back to us the day after. Next day had to call them and they said theyd call Friday.Come Friday, no call still so I called them with no answer 7 times.It is now almost two weeks later and not only have they not answered/returned our calls, they have been CLOSED WITHOUT WARNING since then with NO INFO ON OUR DEVICES.Honestly am concerned they ran off with our phones, looking at other reviews theyre known for stealing internal components.Stay far, far away from this store and take it to one of the stores across the street for better service!

I took my iPhone 7 in for a screen replacement. The phone now goes crazy when it heats up, as if someone is touching the screen all over. Trying to follow navigation in Google Maps is impossible when this happens as the app thinks someone is pressing all over the screen. I went to try to get it fixed and the door was shut during business hours with a sign explaining that they were backed up with repairs. I texted the number on the sign as directed and got no response. I tried to charge back through my credit card after repeated attempts to make contact and stops at the shop, only to find the same sign. The last time I stopped, another customer in the parking lot warned me to stay away. I only wish I handt already paid $155.15 for the repair. I can tell Im in for a snarky response to my review. Save it!

I took my daughters Ipod 5 that we bought from ebay into the store on a Wednesday to have the data from her other ipod transferred over. At first it seemed as though they were trying to explain to me how to transfer the data myself which I appreciated because it was going to save me $20 but I didnt have time and frankly would have rather paid them the $20. They explained to me that it wouldnt be a big deal and shouldnt take much time. They agreed to do the work and so I left it there. I called on Friday just before closing because I hadnt heard from them and they said they hadnt gotten to it yet but it would be ready on Monday. I never got a call so I called 5 minutes before closing on Monday and they told me that for some reason they werent able to do it and I should come and pick it up and they wouldnt charge me. He acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me, there was no service performed so I wouldnt expect to be charged. I would have appreciated a call when they realized they couldnt perform the work instead of me proactively having to call them to find out what was going on. If they didnt want to do the work because the $20 wasnt worth it then they should have told me that from the outset. I took it home and watched a you tube video and was able to do it in 20 minutes. Safe to say I wont be going back.

Honest good service! I brought my MacBook Air to the Computer Clinic down the street and they wanted to charge me $75 and I would have had to leave it there three days. The istore fixed my computer in 30 seconds and charged me nothing! And told me how to deal with it myself if it ever happened again. The istore is where I will tell every Apple person I know to go. They know their stuff and are trustworthy!

BEWARE LEST YOU HAVE BUYERS REMORSE!Not happy with their customer service. I took my phone for a screen replacement in Dec. The screen started separating about 2 months ago. Then the numbers on the right side wouldnt respond to the touch. I took my phone back to see if they would honor the job they did. I was told that there is only a month warranty. WOW, its only been 5 months since they replaced the screen and they would not honor the job they did. The screen was defective. There are lemons. They wouldnt admit that the screen was defective. They told me that my phone had been in water. Ive never dropped it in water. I had taken the phone to Verizon the day before and they checked it and said there was no water damage. I also took it to another repair shop and they said there was no water damage as well. In addition I was told that 3 parts were missing from my phone. I had them write what parts were missing and went back to Chico iStore. I told them I wanted the parts that they took out. Jeff, Tylers father, told me that 1 one of the parts wasnt necessary. REALLY. The other 2 parts he forgot to put back. He asked me to leave the premises when I was venting my unbelief and frustration. He also picked up his phone like he was going to call the police on me. Crazy. I told him I wasnt leaving until I received the missing parts. He was very rude. Once again he told me that there is only 1 month warranty. He acted as if 5 months later I should expect my phone to work well was outrageous. I asked to have Tyler, the owners number. Jeff the dad said he didnt have it. Now whos lying. They would rather have an unhappy customer than to replace a defective screen. What are they doing with the extra parts? Selling them on ebay? I wish I had read the reviews in Dec. I would have stayed away from this business. Getting your phone back with missing parts seems to be a common occurrence with this company. They seem to use low quality screens.After Chico istore refused to honor a damaged screen, I took it to a reputable business and it came with a lifetime of the phone warranty. Thats good business! This other business also said and showed me the inside of my phone, there was no water damage just like I said. Its hard to be water damaged when Ive NEVER dropped in water.If no stars were an option, thats what they would have gotten. They dont even deserve 1 star.DONT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY DONT HONOR THEIR PRODUCT! I will also be putting a claim in with the Better Business Bureau.Response to your response;I just read your response. Never was I offered to have the screen replaced for $25. Secondly, you told me that it had water damage and that is why the screen was separating. Which it did not, It never had been submerged or came into contact with water. I got my screen replaced here a few months back. They stole parts out of my phone without my knowledge that ultimately led to me having to get a new screen again. DO NOT COME HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE TO SAY THE LEAST. I hate ever leaving bad reviews but this was necessary. I went in because I had disabled my iphone and needed to have it restored they told me if it worked they charge me 60 if not itll be 20 I came back in a few hours and they told me that because I had dropped my phone a while back when they tried to restore it my software was damaged so they couldnt do anything about it and that my phone was useless and I needed a new one. I left and my aunt came back and took my phone tried ONE time and was able to restore it and it instantly Began working. He told me that if I tried itd be pointless cause they tried 5 times already and nothing worked but it took my aunt one try. Im sorry but I would NOT relay on these guys ever! After I went in he said maybe its cause its a different computer, so how is that? Because she has a different computer it worked but they told me that I could take it anywhere and thats what they would tell me that it has software damage and is useless. Im sorry but these guys suck.
