My husband and I have been using Stevens services since we moved to the city. Very kind and respectful gentleman. Always had timely repairs for fair prices. Steven makes it a point to go over all the work and charges with us, which is much appreciated. 10/10 recommend this shop. It is reassuring to know that when we have car issues or even just routine maintenance, we have a trustworthy shop to go to.

I brought my car to get it running which multiple mechanics estimated about an hour or 2 tops took Ernesto the owner 2 weeks to get the car on for a couple of hours just for it to shut back off once we got home. The carburetor hoses were plugged with screws and many lines were missing and not intact. Charged me/put on the receipt random work done on car that was not part of the deal. Basically half done work and car still not functioning like we agreed. I returned back to the shop to inform him of the car not being able to run and he basically said he was too busy and didnt want to finish the job we agreed on and paid for. He didnt give me any receipts or the rest of MY OWN PERSONAL parts that i brought for him to use for the job until I came back with a police officer. There was also items missing from the parts not used. Ernesto and the business is very unprofessional and they rip you off referring me to fix other things that dont involve the concerns I came in with for the vehicle. For example he said the breaks for the car I am currently speaking of needs to be fixed but he couldnt even properly get the car to start. Overall I DO NOT recommend this shop for any issues on any vehicle. They WILL steal your money and not fix your car.

I brought my truck there to get a oil change and filter. I had my own partsLeft the truck overnight told the to call me the next day to pick it up.This place called me in the afternoon and tells me my truck doesnt stop and my water pump is leaking.I go there to see whats going on and find my truck on the corner a block away. I get in and start it.the brakes go to the floor no compression at all!!So I crawl under to find a brake line severed. No fluid in the master. This place sabatoshed the brakes to try to get a bigger job.I had to tow the truck to Dinos on Harlem. Ace come to find out has New owners. Very dishonest!!!! Tried to scam me!! Do not bring your car there.beware !!I feel so bad now.this is the worst feeling. Lesson learned!I hope he didnt do the same to the water pump!! Never again. Ace muffler shop is a scam business!!!!!!!!!!!!

Run AWAY!!! THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF. THEY LITERALLY CHARGED MY SON 500. TO PUT ON NEW CARBURETOR JUST TO REMOVE AND PUT ON OLD ONE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT THE SHARPEST CRAYONS IN THE BOX. THEIR MECHANIC WORK IS THAT OF A 5 YEAR OLD. THEN WHEN BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION THEY WERE EXTREMELY ABRASIVE. I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AS A CONSUMER. THEY EVEN STOLE THE TOOLS I HAD IN THE CAR. ALSO... CHECK HOW MANY TIMES THESE CROOKS HAVE CHANGED THEIR BUSINESS NAME.

Don’t go to this shop for repairs. After speaking with them earlier in the week regarding an issue with my exhaust, they called me repeatedly towards the end of the week to bring my vehicle in for a free inspection and estimate. Upon going to their shop they refused to look at my vehicle unless I paid them $50 to hook a computer to it.I left and went to Iggy’s muffler shop 5 min away and they hooked my car up to their computer, let me know what the issue was, and provided me with an estimate on repairs.This muffler shop appears to care more about making money than helping customers. They were not even busy when I visited them. However, Iggy’s Muffler shop was really busy but the manager said that it would only take 5 min to get me an estimate and diagnose my issue.Do not give this business your time and money! Even if they gave me an estimate, I wouldn’t trust it.Be warned.

I came there to fix my car cause it’s been overheating.. He charged me 500$ for the wrong thing and i still have same problem on my car. So basically he changed the wrong thing and charged me that much. When i went there to complain he didn’t wanna give me my money back and he tried to convince me to change my transmission and took almost 4000$This guy is liar , don’t waste your time and money!!!He trying to take money from people and not do right thing for them!!!

Had my hatch replaced here. I went to a few body shops, two gave me quotation much higher than here. Steven was super nice and helpful. Fixed my car within less than 24hrs. And they open on weekends too.

I had my mufflers changed for new ones I bought, and also they straight piped my challenger. Steven is a nice game gave me the price upfront and thats what he charged me. I happy with their service.

Scam artist, went in there to fix a bucket seat (a dab of weld is all I needed). Told me $20-$30 also told me this isnt something I would make money on I just like helping out people.

Bald man from this shop robbed me. I had a problem with my brakes. He said he will connect my car to the computer and figure out what’s going on and I will have to pay 50$ for a diagnostic. Next day he told me I have to replace all rotors, pads and few more things(520$ parts + $ for a job) in all 4 wheels because it wasn’t changed yet and later he will connect to the computer and see what to do after that. I’ve changed all brakes few months ago so he was trying to lie me. I sad “no thanks”. He said 50$. I’ve asked “for what?” So he said “for diagnostic”. He didn’t want to give my car back if I won’t pay. I had to pay. Liar and nothing more to add. I went to another shop and it was just a sensor for 150$.

Great customer service! Was able to find the issue with my muffler and fix it quickly and efficiently. There was something loose and kept hitting the bottom of my car which made a lot of noise. Now I enjoy driving and not worrying about my car falling apart.

I looked at all the review before I went to check them out. What I came for was minor in nature, but I really appreciated how quick they got me back on the road in better condition then I came it. I Would highly recommend checking this place out for yourself. You feel very informed and comfortable with the service provided for your car as a costomer.

The worst shop in Chicago. People please don’t come here!! $90 for 20 min. And still it’s not working

I went there in Fall 2012 for some windshield spray repair. They fixed it right then and there. My Dad has been going to this shop for miscellaneous repairs for 2 years now and they are the best. They are honest, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

My wifes uncle bought a van from them they assured it was in tip top blah blah well long story short. it ran for less than 80 miles and the alternator has went out. No big deal we where told after them dodging us I went over and was told we would get a call they havent looked at it yet that were being told the part is 300 bucks plus labor. Now Im no dummy so first thing I did was call AutoZone part is 125.00 there. This place will be hearing from the BBB. On top of it all I really doubt they have a sellers license

I would like to Thank the Fine staff at Ace for their professional work on my Vehicle . They did a Great job with the radiator replacement and had it done in one day.The owner made sure he kept me informed throughout the repairs by letting me know the progress of the work, I also recieved a courtesy follow up phone call a couple of days later checking on my car and the work done ,it gave me piece of mind knowing my car was being taken care of by Professionals, so Thanks again Guys....
