Though this was my first time here, I was offered nothing short of an exceptional and quality service, I will greatly recommend this business.

I recently took my vehicle to an auto dealership on the north side to get an diagnosis and estimate because my vehicle didn’t accelerate past 45mph. The dealership quoted me at 1.6k to replace the catalytic converter. I took my car here and the mechanics was extremely honest. They told me the pipe inside the catalytic converter was clogged and only charged me $50 to replace. My car was running properly after the repair without any issues. I’ve also have visited here in the past to get new shocks, brakes, and the control arm replaced. Every time I visited the prices were fair and I didn’t feel like I was being scammed.I highly recommend this place. Excellent prices for the services and honest mechanics.

Today I got my jeep fixed and they did one hell of a job. Well money spend. They are true to there word and if they miss something bring it back and they will fix it. I like them.... And I think thats going to b my own spot for now on. Forget everyone else that own a shop. Some of them is not true of there word by fixing a car.....

I love this place! It is my go to place for quick repairs. I’ve gone here for my AC, heater, brakes, coolant leak, and general check up on my Jeep. Also I love that they call you as soon as it is ready and remind you of the time they close so you can pick up your car. Their prices are great for the work they put in. If you need a quick reliable fix they are the people.

A worker told me he will take an hour to fix my car, when the time came I called and they said another hour, when that time came I called and they told me another hour they haven’t even looked at my car, 4 hours later I called and they got frustrated with me and said “forget it, come get your car” I see there’s great reviews that’s why I came here but I’ll take my business somewhere else, I wouldn’t have been pushy with the time pick up if they didn’t promise me it would be done within an hour, I wouldn’t even been upset if they told me on the phone they were gonna have it a few days. But they said an hour. And lied

Im pretty sure theyre a bunch of cool guys. But, if you say you open at 8am, then open at that time. I get there at 8:01 and theyre still coming in. One of the guys that was there on time, wasnt even dressed for work. I just sat in the lobby for 20 minutes before leaving and going to Mexican Mufflers and I was given service as soon as I got there.....😐

They are straight forward, give upfront pricing. I had a flex pipe that needed repair was charged $80 with a one year guarantee. They were friendly and did the work quickly, but I do suggest you call ahead of time to see what wait time looks like, I imagine they get busy for their fair practice and prices.

Excellent service. Accurate estimation of wait time. HONEST! My mom is an young African American woman who knows more than the average female about cars. This was the third shop we had gone to for a catalytic converter estimate. Price was a fraction of the other estimates. Quality work and friendly service.

California Mufflers took me in right away an hour before closing to get my vehicles muffler inspected and replaced right away.I knew my muffler needed to either be welded or replaced. They showed where my muffler had a hole and told me I’m better off replacing it. Total was $140 for the replacement, labor and with a 2 year warranty!I got their at 3:10 ish pm and I was out of the door by 3:40-3:50 pm so it was pretty fast especially talking to a few of the people working their just striking a conversation.Good service! I would highly recommend them to a friend or family member for sure!

My muffler was rattling when i would stop while the car was on drive . so i took it to a family member who told me either to weld the pipe onto the muffler or get a new one , he suggested me get a new one to avoid a cheap fix . i then looked on google for muffler shops in my area . at first i was a bit skeptical because some of them had fake reviews but i took a gamble with California Muffler & Brakes ... i asked the nice man at the desk that i just wanted to replace the muffler to avoid a cheap fix . he quoted me $40 to fix it as is or $80 with a new muffler . i went ahead and asked for the new mufflers . after a 40 minute wait (there were cars ahead of mine) he told me honestly that my muffler was in good shape and didnt need to replace it so me getting a new muffler and them charging me the $80 wasnt necessary . in 30 minutes they fixed my pipe and my car is back to being its quiet self! im new to car maintenance so a shop with this much honesty was most def what i was hoping for.
