Great place to find vintage lamp parts. A true asset to the Chicagoland area. During Covid lock down things broke around the house some being lamps a light fixtures. After ordering from Amazon some of the parts they did not work, I called a lighting display and sales store and they recommended this place. Sure enough they had the two items I needed, to fix two different light fixtures. Old school place. Nice older gentleman to care of me. Would recommend, They also can repair light fixtures on premises also. They sell quite a few antique and vintage lighting fixtures too.

Great place for parts, the staff on the phone are always polite. I love the well organized website and Stanley who brings out the parts when I pick up is always cheerful and helpful. If you’re handy and want to get your vintage or modern lights fixed this is the best place to get your parts for very good prices.

I love this place. I had my lamp repaired here, for much less than others were charging. There is no fancy store to shop in, this is a no frills, get down to business and fix my lamp place. Which is exactly what I needed, so I am happy. With COVID you can drop your lamp off for repair, and the turnaround is pretty fast. When I brought another lamp in, asking if it needed parts replaced, the owner told me how to fix it, and that my pats were in good condition (so I didnt need to buy any from him). Terrific!

Exceptional and knowledgeable professionals. Great Customer service! I had purchased two large used ecclesiastical Manning light fixtures off Ebay that were missing some chain components and canopies to hang the lights. I called in and Sales Staff quickly understood my need and transferred me to a Gentlemen who clearly knew the trade. He identified the missing parts, citing the part numbers from memory and was clearly well versed in the lighting field. Order was received well packed and in undamaged condition. A glitch occurred on the canopy finish and color (Brass vs. Bronze) and I returned them as instructed. Within less than 14 days I had the parts back in the correct finish with no problems. Businesses who are not only good at what they do and back it up with EXCELLENT customer support are a dying breed. I am so glad companies like this still exist. Excellent Work Savta Lighting!

I was going crazy trying to find the name of an MCM lamp part - I called mylampparts and left a message. They returned my call and told me the name - they were the only people that could tell me this (seems to be a well kept secret or lost information). I did not need anything from their site at this point but I will make an effort to support their business when the need arises. Thank you.

Just super disappointed. Was so excited about getting my vintage lamp fixed but felt like the salesman was annoyed by me. No one was wearing a mask. Couldn’t take card without charging me an extra $5 because of a minimum. Totally understandable and even appreciated because that was when I realized I was trying way too hard and could just buy online since this business could care less. Anyone can, so if someone takes the time to come into your small business treat them with respect. Oh and if you demand customers wear a mask you should too, it’s common courtesy regardless of how you feel about Covid.

I had 2 White Hobnail Round Globes that were missing their end pieces. I have little knowledge as to what I was actually missing. So I called My Lamp Parts and a nice gentleman knew what I needed, gave me the items numbers and names of these pieces. ordered them and sold my lamps about 20 minutes after I listed them. Then today he helped me a another lamp question! My Lamp Parts Rocks!

Great service! I took two ceiling fixtures in to get rewired. They told me it would take roughly two weeks, then got a call two DAYS later saying it was done and ready for pickup! They under-promised and over-delivered, which you dont see much these days. The main proprietor even showed me how to reconnect then to the house wiring. I reinstalled them the same day and they work beautifully...

A place still exists for people who want to see beautiful and well made lamps and light fixtures of the past continue to work into the future. And the costs are on par with what a tradesperson would pay.The proprietor has a constant flow of calls but hell make time for you. Come prepared with the lamp you need fixed or specific parts you are requesting since he seems to have everything imaginable in his warehouse. In my case he buffed and polished the metal pieces to perfectly match the fixture I brought in.

Ordered 7 lamp collars, (a small, straightforward steel part for a few dollars each,) on 8/31. Website and a live person verification showed that all 7 were in stock. I chose 2 day shipping as I was worried if I used regular shipping they might arrive late for an electrician scheduled to install 5 fixtures on 9/8 in my home. It is now just past midnight on 9/7 and the tracking number shows they have not even left the facility yet. How hard is it to put 7 small parts in a box and send it away? I wanted to support a small business, but now I have to take time off of work to go to home depot or find something overnight on amazon to keep my home sale on schedule. The time and money lost on this is hard to quantify, but my annoyance is not: 1 star.

I needed a hard to find part. I have a 130 year old house that back in the day, here in Chicago, had gas lighting fixtures. I recently bought a nice chandelier on Craigslist, and I then, I found out that I needed an adapter to hang the light from the existing gas threaded pipe. After a while waiting a while at the old school counter,, the very nice man (who I think is the son of the owner) went searching in the back of the very large warehouse (they have everything!). Yes he found the exact threaded adapters I needed . $4.00 for it all! If you need any old or current lighting fixtures repaired (not by them, but by you, as a true blue DIYR) then take a bead to this store. They sell all over the United States.
