Awesome brunch! We stopped here the other morning and had a great experience. The space is really big with multiple rooms so we didn’t have to make a reservation or wait thankfully. The service was fantastic and very friendly. I had the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of ham (both delicious). They also have iced coffee and cold brew options, perfect for a hot summer day!

First time at this place today. This place is so dirty and grimmy. The floor had food all over it from full pieces of bacon to mustard. The server spoke so fast you could hear anything he was saying. The food was below average. Will not be back! Messed up my boyfriends order. They were not that busy. Will definitely not be back. Nookies in Edgewater is beautiful and the service at that location is top notch! So disappointed! This location was just closer to take my man too. Oh well..

This place WAS the best. They reopened this past Wednesday so I took my wife and sons for a very needed breakfast trio (plum pancakes mhm). The place looked new (and nicely done) but I only recognized 2 faces, the rest of the staff was new. I asked and was told that it was under the same ownership and management. That has to be a lie, because the service and food were horrible. There was no longer the coveted weekend breakfast specials and the menu was condense significantly.I asked for a milk 3 times for my son and never received it, never refilled our coffee, the egg preference was incorrect on one dish as well. The food items themselves were just lackluster (chilaquiles and eggs/toast), and all of this on a restaurant that is HALF full.I hope that the either the old management kick it into gear or this new management learns what made Nookies great, but as for me I will NEVER be back there so experience it.

Went there for a brunch on Sunday, and the food is very mediocre if not awful. I got frittatas, and the texture of eggs tastes like napkins. Definitely over-priced for the quality of the food at least for my visit, but it is reasonable for the portion. You may find some chain restaurants could serve food in a similar level. However, I did feel cozy and nice vibe there, which raises the rating from 2 to 3.

Went on a slow Monday morning. Happened to have 3 different servers, ask for our order before we were ready and settled. During our meal our coffee was never refilled. No one was walking around checking that, even though there was a lot of restaurant help this day. When we did get a refill after paying, the new coffee in our cups was not hot, just warm. The service was absolutely nothing special, which is frustrating because the food was actually, not worth being there for really at all. I have had better biscuits and gravy at free hotel breakfast. Sadly, their was no flavor in the gravy and the crepes that I had were as thick as pancakes and they were so saturated in icing that I literally had fear of turning diabetic. This dining experience left me feeling deflated, and wondering to myself what the true highlight of this nook is. I feel, that the convenience to residents in that area and the lack of other food choices around that specific area, are why this restaurant has shined thus far.

The food was actually better than I expected it to be.I personally went with the crepes per my servers recommendation, and it was indeed worth it. Some of the seats are slightly awkward due to the way the flooring is, but thats a minor thing that you wont notice after a while.Definitely worth visiting at least once, definitely worth a second visit from myself. I once loved this place but was sadly disappointed by my recent visit. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Our water glasses were dirty and we mentioned it to the staff. They brought us new ones but the new glasses were also dirty. I ordered the French Toast, supposedly made with brioche bread. French toast should be rich and creamy, especially at a breakfast place; the French Toast I was served was dry in center, completely unsweetened, tasted like can white bread and cooked without butter or salt. When we mentioned this to the waiter get said that it was special order brioche despite the fact that it wasnt (Im a baker). They didnt even take it off the bill or offer to get something else. Very disappointing.
