Since the quarantine last year its near impossible to find a 24 hour service of any kind. Golden Nugget, at this location, comes through with flying colors! I have a couple complaints but none of them are the restaurants fault. For example, the lack of available parking. The service was amazing, the food was delicious. Definitely good to see some establishments still care to accommodate the late night people of our city!

This is by far the best chicken and waffles Ive had in the entire world and you know how I know that? I got it for TAKE OUT and it was still good which is unheard of for any type of take out food ever, good luck. So good yall I had the delivery driver come back and gave her $20. The only gave me a spoon, but its okay I just man handled it with my hands.

This is a great place to go with your friends and family for a delicious meal at phenomenal prices. They have never disappointed me and I have been going here for years. I will caution that they can get busy on Sundays after church or in the mornings overall (their breakfast selection is incredible) so be careful if you are trying to go with a large group during those times- get there early! But if you are looking for an affordable yet delectable meal, this is your place!

The location is cozy and clean. The staff was courteous. Love that the food is reasonably priced. Gotta say the French toast there was the best tasting, the best Ive ever eaten even without syrup! Absolutely delicious! Would totally go back just for the French toast. My compliments to the cook. The parking lot is small and tricky when too many people dont pull into the spots all the way. Street parking is recommended.

Their pancakes (and most other things on the menu) are worth it any time day or night, dine-in or carryout or delivery, rain or shine. Satisfies my most intense diner coffee cravings. Though it may be good to keep in mind that their parking lot is very small and theres often no street parking, these are minor concerns which, for me at least, are heavily outweighed by the quality of the food.

When you come in you are greeted. I like the fact that they are enforcing the no mask no entry and they are doing their part by having the stake sauce and the ketchup in little packets. This helps to avoid the spread as these are disposed of when empty. That is the only reason I giving it 2 stars. 1 for doing the part to stop the spread and 1 for the food; and speaking of food...Lets talk about the food. The steak was a little blend and quite dry. I had the sirloin steak but it tasted like ground beef or like meat loaf. If you teasted it blind folded, youll never know it was steak. The cream of broccoli teasted like the can soup I have at home so I dont think they make it there. And the taco sala was I think the best of the 3. The veggies were fresh but the tortilla basket was soggy. The flavor was there and the chicken was also good. It actually teasted like grilled chicken.Conclusion... if I come back, it will be to try something else and do more reviews. But as far as me wanting or choosing to come back, its not gonna happen.

First time eating at Golden Nugget Pancake House and I must say the Service && Food was amazing!

I had not been to a Golden Nugget in many years. I was told the one I use to go to on Clark doesnt exist anymore, so I went to one on Diversey. I got the Little Boy Blue breakfast which is my favorite. It was still good. Service was good and enjoyed the food.

The food was good but service a little slow. Parking lot very tight so find a park on the street unless u have a small compact car.

First time here. It was cool. Had the chicken club with curly fries. My kids had breakfast. Seems pretty good.

The idea of a 24 hour breakfast place is amazing. The food was great! I took carryout and they packaged it pretty well, very happy about that. The customer service was very friendly and the bathrooms were pretty clean. They even have their own parking! They really check all the boxes ♥️ no complaints here

This use to be one of my favorite breakfast places , but not any more. Its been about 2 years since ive been there . I recently went there an the food wasnt good at all ~ I ordered pancakes , sausage & Swiss cheese omelette , and hashbrowns.... Everything tasted the exact same , it had no individual taste..... It was obvious that they use process cheese with my omelette because , it barely melted and it was rubbery..... They use to have the actual round flavourful potatoes to make there hashbrowns , they changed there format to the bland shredded potatoes..... Same thing with the pancakes , they changed there batter , ....

Breakfast was perfectly made. Agreed upon by whole table.

Dinner is homecooked just like mom would make it for you off the stove! Ive passed by this Golden Nugget several times per week and I cant believe this is my first time having dinner here. I had a craving for Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and it didnt disappoint! My husband had country fried steak with home made gravy. Obviously devoured. The food is delicious and flavorful! And servers are so friendly.Go head to your local Golden Nugget!

The place was packed and the service was good even though it was packed. They made sure your coffee cup was full without having to ask for it. Pancakes,waffles with chicken,and egg whites scrambled with everything you would want to put in.

A hidden gem. The host and waitress were very friendly and nice!I had the strawberry crepes (warm compote ones).....and.....they were, out of this world, delicious!!!! Ive never tasted a crepe like this before. They were the best Ive ever had, hands down. And....it looked so awesome.... Its been a really long time since Ive come to Golden nugget. When my husband asked what I wanted to eat tonight I was stumped. It was pass 10 pm on a Thursday. We had riding the motorcycle, and frankly I wasnt even sure what suburb we were in. We have eaten out so much of late that I was sick of usual takeout fare. Nothing I would be interested in would open at that hour. I kind of wanted home cooking. It was far to late for me cook even if I was back home. Thinking hard I said Golden Nugget or Dennys. My husband decided on Golden Nugget it was closer to home. I wanted this particular Golden Nugget because I remembered they had a great 2 layered chocolate cake. I took my time looking over the menu. It had changed since I last went there, and selection was plenty and varied. I opted for breakfast and my husband had a skillet. The service was...meh. The food was good, the place clean. Of course, I took some cake home with me. By the way, they have crepes at this location.

Excellent home-made food. Parking fairly easily. I had the Italian Meatloaf which was served with spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic toast which was the bomb! My mom and I shared a plate and glad we did because dish was served with large portions. All we did was order side salads.... I will definitely reorder this dish!!!

Now this is what a burger and fries is supposed to look like. Best burger ever. Fresh ground beef cooked to perfection with that charcoal flavor and all the trimmings not dry at all. Curly fries to die for! 5 stars all the way!

Came here a few times in the evening and the food was subpar, came here in the mornings/afternoons and the food is much better. Go during the daylight hours for the food. Coffee is great all the time day or night.UPDATE: 12/09/2018Came here at night and the food is just as good in the morning as it is at night! Great food and an even better price. Definitely recommend!

Waitress took 20+ minutes to come take our order after she told us she would be right back,no busy or I would have been more understanding. Food was good except for them burning the garlic bread and toast!

Stopped in here the other day after a movie.I walked in around 4pm and was greeted immediately by a friendly smile and asked how many. One seated I ordered the Irish Eggs Benedict w/ hashbrowns.Food arrived in a comfortable amount of time and my wait staff kept my coffee fresh. The presentation of the breakfast was worthy of mention and the portion amount was shockingly large.The quality and flavors were outstanding. Cutting through the benedict was not an issue. Able to literally cut through each item...poached egg, cornedbeef hash and English muffin and cut into bite size pieces with ease.So much food I was unable to complete the meal.Highly recommend. Atmosphere, waitstaff and meal all 5 star.

I was waiting for my server for 15 Minute the only person who help me was the busboy.All the servers were sitting talking.ask for a manager and there were none.

One of the few Golden Nugget Restaurant s left in Chicago. Service was terrific, and the food so good.

Ordered the corn beef hash breakfast @ $15.00. (SMH)Asked for EXTRA CRISPY Hash browns & crispy hash. Came out lightly cooked 2 mores times with probably a 1/3 cup of c.b. hash. Unfortunately, the 3rd time, I had to decline. Fiancee enjoyed his meal. Waitress was nice though.

The golden nugget food is good but I recommend that you eat-in or pick-up the food yourself. If youre using a food delivery service (doordash) their drivers are horrible. Needs to use another delivery service because they just lost a valuable customer.

Honestly just came to say that this is THE Golden Nugget that I’ve been coming to for about 6 years now. My husband and I went to this location 24 hours after the opening of Phase 4. We dined inside and the restaurant was impeccably clean!!! Everyone wearing masks and social distancing. The food and service is excellent as it has always been. We felt very safe and comfortable eating in this restaurant. I highly recommend that you go back or give it a try. You wont be disappointed!
