Great service clean place food was excellent and a lot of it! Steak hash browns and eggs was fantastic!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. I had the Mexican Skillet. Food is great (the salsa Verde is some of the best I have had), and the waitress Sheila is very funny and friendly. Great way to start the day. I will be coming back for sure!

This place has been here since forever and Im always thinking, I should stop by sometime but Im always in a rush. Today I was finally able to dine in and take my time. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The waitress was really nice and attentive. The portion was great! The burger was a little bigger than I expected and plenty of fries with drink refills. It definitely hit the spot and will make time to stop by once in awhile.

This place is quite entertaining. The foods good and you can always get some free entertainment in here just by watching all the different people that come and go out of this famous institution 24 hours a day.

The food here was very good, down to earth grill cooking. The gentleman managing the place was extremely nice and welcoming. My only complaint is that the portions were a bit small.

This place is close to home as it’s my partner’s local breakfast spot. It’s a no-frills 24/7 diner with lovely service and cheap prices. Close to the brown line and an obvious staple of the community.

Every time I go here I order the bacon and eggs. The chef cooks the bacon perfectly when I order crispy bacon, and the eggs are scrambled just right. The menu has a large variety and you can customize your meal however you want. You can sit in your own booth with friends after a late night out, because this place is 24 hours. Or you can sit at the bar right behind the grill! Very relax environment and the location is great. You just walk off the brown line Kimball station and youre there.

Unbelievably rude wait staff. She mumbled something from across the room facing away from us. I think she was trying to take our order. I replied excuse me I didnt hear you. She replied dont get snippy.. I was shocked and said I was not getting snippy, I just didnt hear her. She replied with continued attitude. This isnt Ed Debevicks. We had to leave for fear of the negativity leaking into the food. Have been here several times with decent food and much better service, but this completely ruined it. Will never go here again. 1 star. We went next door to the hot dog place which was great.

Ive been coming here on and off for 4 years - staff knows me down to the T, which I cant ask for more than that! Patty (the waitress there late nights) is such a doll - her engaging in conversations with customers will tell you how much she wants to get to know her customers, which brings a degree of hospitality to better levels! I cant give this less than 5 stars!

This place isnt actually open 24hrs. Im here on a Tuesday at 1am, and theres a sign Saying theyre not open until 6am.EDIT: Ive been to this place many times since, and I love it! It would be 5 stars, but Im still upset about them not maintaining normal hours the first time I tried to visit.

Alfredo the day cook friendly and knows his stuff behind the stove. Sheila and Carol are very nice and quite helpful. Me and the FAM love coming here not only for the food, but for good atmosphere!!

Dont let my 3 star review fool you, there will be a time when this is exactly the restaurant you need.I moved to the area and saw this spot and knew I had to try it out. Of course I did not stop in immediately, I waited until it was 2am and my friends and I were drunk. They were maybe half full at the time so it didnt feel empty but the staff was not overloaded. We looked over the menu, classic diner items with plenty of options between breakfast and lunch/dinner food.All the prices were cheap and the servings were quite good. I ordered the philly cheese steak.The bread was nice and fluffy with a small layer of grease on the outside. It was filled with steak and green bell peppers and onions. Not the best meal for our colon but a great meal for your tongue.Will probably stop by there again on another drunk night or for a very early breakfast.

The breakfast food is always prepared perfectly and tastes great. The service is above par. The location is ideal, but the aesthetics could use some work.

If you like a ham and egg sandwich you will like this place its a little diner conveniently located right across the street from the Kimball Brown Line.

You all do know that they dont wash their hands feel right? Ive seen the cook come out the bathroom and is zipping up and hes going back to the grill to cook. Do not risk getting sick eating at this nasty place. thats why a lot of us CTA workers stopped eating there so you have been warned
