This was such a new shopping experience. Just scan your Amazon app from your phone on the reader as you enter the store, then get whatever you need and leave. Not sure how it tracks what I bought, but no more checking out and paying on the way out. Very cool.

Stopped in here right after they opened at 6am on a Tuesday. I already had the app downloaded and set up so I was able to scan right in without issue. The place was spotless and very well lit and organized. I was surprised how small it was but it was very efficient. There were two employees that were stocking shelves and both offered to help me find anything. I ended up getting a few snacks and water bottles for the hotel and just as advertised I was able to walk right out without stopping or scanning anything. The foods I got were tasty (single serve cheesecake, cookie for the kids, and some prosciutto wrapped mozzarella). Fun concept and a glimpse into what future shopping may be like.

The concept of Amazon Go is hated by folks who are worried about automation taking over the local bodega and formerly requiring a cashless method of payment, but now that folks can pay with cash, that criticism has quieted down a bit. Without better prices and the desire of some folks to just walk in and out of the store without saying Hi to a single person, why else would they exist?Ive been in this location a handful of times, enjoying it enough each time to return. Products in the store are faced with a clear divider, probably to ensure the sensors pick up the correct item. Its a fun experience to go through and the prices are incredibly competitive for a convenience store in the city. Theres even a discount on the sandwiches after 4pm. Take that, 7-Eleven.

I happened to walk by the store and decided to check it out. I absolutely loved it. There was someone standing outside to help you understand how it works and download the app. Then you just grab the items you need and you walk out without having to wait in line. There was a decent selection of items and reasonably priced. I bought a 4 dollar salad and it tasted really good. It wasnt like the gross ones 7/11 sells, it was like the ones whole foods has.Its very much like a quick-mart/7-11 style store where you get basic needs like drinks and snacks or lunch. They had things like small toiletries too.Anyways, I loved it. I cant wait for more to open closer to my house.

What an experience, very convenient. Download Amazon go app on your phone , link to your Amazon prime account ( since we all have one of these) and simply scan a QR code from the app to enter store. Continue pocketing your items and walk out. Salads, sandwiches chips drinks and toiletry items, same as you would find at any other convenience store. No cashiers.

Just tried this today. Very cool and surprisingly easy to use/do. Definitely a great way to pickup a few items quickly. Much nicer than a typical convenience store. Prices are reasonable for most items. Will be interesting to see how it operates after a few days of promotion (there were about a half dozen Amazon employees outside and inside the store for the opening).

Easily one of the coolest shopping experiences Ive ever had! Everything Amazon says about these stores is true, you San your phone as you walk in grab what you want, if you change your mind about something put it back, then leave. Its that simple.

These Amazon Go stores are the future of the retail! Just scan your amazon go app’s QR code and then pick/drop whichever product you want and then leave the store. After 1-2 minutes you will get your receipt with the final product list and your credit card will be charged after 1-2 hours, which you have added to your Amazon account. You can claim the refund if they have charged you by mistake. This Amazon Go store has minimal product varieties such as Ice mountain water bottle, haribo gold-bears, monster/red-bull, Amazon basics cables, wide variety of fresh salad, sandwiches, etc and many other best seller items at very reasonable price, in-fact most of them are cheaper than regular convenience stores like 7-11.I saw one guy who was coming from work I guess, and in less than 30 seconds, he scanned his QR code, he picked one salad and then he left. NO LINES, NO CHECKOUT. I was totally amazed!Definitely one should go and visit one of these stores to experience the bright future of retail stores in the present!

No check out lines. One microwave to heat up the soups, meals and breakfast sandwiches they sell. Very clean, friendly staff, and better prices than most convenient stores.

Curious concept of store that Amazon has brought. You scan the app code when you enter, you get what you want and you leave. Amazon knows perfectly the time you have been in the store, and is responsible for automatically charging you what you have taken, without going directly to your account. It can be scary, but it is curious to try.
