This is a great comic shop. Tons of new comics, and tons of back issues. Nice selection of lower end statues, though they are situated up on a high shelf, so they are a little hard to see. Not a ton of toys. Tons of graphic novels. A little light on manga, but a good selection of the most popular books.

Hands down! Chicagos best comic shop!!! I have been a fellow comic collector for over 36 years and 30 of those years have been with Graham Crackers Comics in Naperville and my home base, the Chicago Loop location. Convenient, friendly and always have enough books - if they are out of an issue - they will do their best on tracking you a copy! I love this comic shop!!!! Earl, Kirk and the rest of the gang are very helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection, old and new comics, toys and collectibles. Single issues and graphic novels. But we love the experience of going to the comic books store - reminds you of the days of visiting the corner comic book store. We will be back - especially for my fix of My Little Pony comics and Batman!

This was my first time visiting here and the staff seemed nice. The store is a little shoddily organized in reference to back issues and key issues being displayed but I did find a few goodies. I will definitely be back.

I have lived in Chicago my entire life, yet I did not know there was a comic book store like this one. My daughter was very pleased.

The store is good with primarily recent releases and trade paperbacks. They do have a decent selection of back issues. Be aware that this store is a downtown store and thus, doesn’t have a whole lot of floor space for as busy as it is. Additionally, because it is busy, the back issues are a bit out of order.

Lots of clutter in places and shelves could use some better arranging. Still found some good issues and other things I would come back for.

Not only carrying your standard titles, but also obscure ones too. Their clearance section is a great way to check out random comics and books cheaply.

Went in to get the latest issue of Nightwing and got it, plus more! Impressive collection of comic books for sale as well as some merch. Great customer service, good prices and cute store! Right across Millennium Park (aka the Bean/Cloud) in the Chicago loop. Love to come back someday and I recommend it!

I have not stepped foot in that place for 12 years. It was so different but still felt familiar. Very friendly staff very welcoming place.

Hidden Gem for Comics downtown, lots of back issues and rarities. They do special orders too, or so I overheard. Wide collection of female characters and female produced works as well. Pleasantly surprised.

Its a interesting little comic book store, everyone was nice and super helpful.

I like the stuff they have such as their figures and comics but I don’t know how I really feel about their customer service, when I went the customer service wasn’t great. But it was still an amazing place, I love their comics and collectables. I also love how they are usually open because the other comic book shops in Chicago close early for some reason.

I frequent this spot a bit. Staff always nice and helpful with a good selection. Only gave it 4 starts because the manga section is notoriously limited.

Graham crackers comics is still of the best and biggest Downtown comic stores ever,also A huge selection of New comics,Back issues,graphic novels and wonderful memorabilia also the owner and the counter staff are not only nice but very friendly in the state of Illinois and are very helpful.also when I get the time either this year or next year Ill come back for a visit and enjoy .also all I can say is to the staff at Graham crackers comics :👌 up the 👍 work and stay safe and stay healthy.

Has everything from new releases to older vintage comics. Easily one of the best comic shops in Chicago.

Walked in looking for some figures and walked out with a lot of Batman Comics, and some new Shazam. This place feels like an old school comic haven, too bad they were closing but there was so much to see and you really get sucked into it. Friendly staff and funny too.And seriously a huge selection comics that never end. A must visit for any comic fan.

Comics galore from the 60s up to now. With tons of swag and action figures. Bought 3 keys I found in a 75 cent box worth the visit.

Friendly staff and good selection! The location I was at was small, but it is easy to find what you are looking for. If they dont have it there they have multiple locations to check! I found a comic there at a decent price that Ive been wanting for a while, I will be coming back the next time Im in town!

Nicely tucked in a normal bland downtown block, comic shop is great. Nice selwction new and old, figures, collectables you name it. Will be back

They have a nice spot by the front window with comic and graphic novels for the younger set, and the vintage comics there are always super fun! Recommended to stop in and browse.

A great comic shop in the heart of Chicago. They have a wide selection of collectibles, new and classic comics, and related products. The staff was helpful and friendly. We could have spent hours picking out books. This is definitely a spot to check out if youre in the Loop and have even a mild interest in comics.

I love collecting funko pops! But this place has everything. Thank you 😊 any funko pops I want, they have them. At times if they don’t have the right funko pop, I was told that I can give them a call and order it then they can hold it for me. That is awesome! Thanks guys! Prices for the funko pops $ not bad at all!

Nice to have a comic book store downtown Chicago

Its not my regular shop but, they often have some great merch as well as a large selection of comics.

Because they have a large selection of current issues and back issues to choose from and they also have figurines and other items for sale and display plus the staff is always professional and courteous and pretty knowledgeable about the field

A store that always has several employees working who are extremely willing to help and have a nice banter with each other, The downtown location of Graham Crackers is one you can imagine wanting to have as your regular local store. The selection is plentiful and varied, whether you prefer your more standard superhero fare or something perhaps a little different they should have something for anyone.The banter the employees have is fun to listen to, with nary the exasperated sigh of the stereotypical comic book guy to be found.Definitely not like every comic book store, but perhaps more like what comic book stores *should* be.Note: While the selection of comics and trades was commendable, I did not pay enough attention to figurines or apparel. Please check other reviews for better information if those are your interest.

They almost have everything in here. The staffs were awesome and very knowledgeable. The place was fully packed and you can choose in a variety of comic books. Want to stay here the whole day but needs to go home. Good thing its just near my place. I recommend this awesome place!

Great comic selection. Very extensive despite being a compact shop. There is a great variety of options and the staff is knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

This place is really cool. Lots of toys and comics. The workers there are really knowledgeable and eager to help. They have a huge selection of comics (and manga if youre into that) and if they dont have it they can special order it to the store at no extra cost.

If you are European and didnt see that many comics stores this is one you must visit. So many comics to choose from. Found even those I though couldnt exist. Perfect gift for your friend at home.And the team that works there. They do know what they have and will help you as much as possibleAdding one photo of one of their section. Shop is way bigger.

They have a huge selection but the customer service was indifferent. I dont think they see too many African Amer men in their shop because of the reluctance to help.

As soon as I walked through the revolving door, I was promptly greeted. The store is very well organized and is like a paradise to comic and manga lovers (fans). All of my questions about the sales and other items were answered. Every customer that came through the door was treated kindly and as truly valued customers. Ill definitely continue to frequent the store because the service is excellent.

Great comic shop located right near Chicagos top sights. An amazing selection of comics including very hard to find covers. Everything reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and accommodating. They definitely take loyalty to their business very seriously and are willing to go out of their way to help you find what you need.

I love this place. The staff are friendly and all know their comics and theyll order any back issues or trade paperbacks they might not have in stock (which is pretty rare) and call you when they arrive. They clearly get enough female customers (and have a few on staff!) so there isnt a weird vibe when Im there. The location is hard to beat too!

Ive lost touch with comics for a while now, but recently rekindled my comic crush and also fell in love with Graham Cracker Comics in the loop. They have a friendly staff that will assist you and give you great recommendations, tons of books, graphic novels, manga and merchandise as well. They also help with special orders. Great selection of comics (I’m a marvel guy though 😅)!! Anything new/exclusive/hot seller gets sold out pretty quick due to it being a popular store. They also have a mailing list and all sorts informative stuff

Decent store, nice selection of books. Clearly the cater the book collector rather than the merchandise collector. That being said there were some collectables too. Layout was interesting with a main route around the store and then some arms off into alcoves. Its central location in Chicago is also very cool.

Wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. The store has large selection of back issues. They are also part of a larger chain in the Chicago area. If you cant find what you want, ask. Chances are another store has one and they can get it out to you. If you enjoy comics dont pass up this shop.

I’ve been here a few times—always received excellent service with a smile. The staff is pretty diverse and seem to all really know and love comics. I recently accidentally purchased something I already owned and the manager couldn’t have been cooler about letting me exchange two books for items of the same value.

Pretty sweet comic book store if youre into that sort of thing. They had a bunch of stuff I wanted but unfortunately could not afford to buy because I made the mistake of bringing my girlfriend with me, so I spent all my money on stuff for her. Ill go back by myself when I get paid again.

I adored this store! I am rather new to comic books, and had no idea on what I wanted exactly. I just said: I like Thor and Loki and Batman and stuff... and one of the guys happily bobbed over to me and assisted! I loved the fact that he knew what I would like, even without knowing more than two minutes of information. Better yet, I LOVED the ones he helped me pick out!

Great customer service. Very smart in the ways they gain new customers. Drawing crowds by bringing comic legends like Jim Lee is priceless. While being patient and knowledgeable in the comic book industry. They knew how to answer every question I had in the nicest way.

May 21, 2020: UNPROFESSIONAL! On Facebook, a young man asked if the store sold a Funko Pop he is looking for and I replied to his post asking if he had checked Ebay or Amazon. Minutes later, Jamie Murray Graham (Graham Crackers) shot me a text, So you hate brick and mortar stores? and immediately blocked me off Graham Crackers Comics Facebook page. Really rude! I was simply asking the young man if he had checked around but Jamie took my question like a personal attack. COVID-19 is obviously causing financial hardship on Jamie. He cant handle his severe anxiety problems or stress levels- causing him to react negatively to any innocent question.Edit: Yes but several other people have written in their reviews that you have an attitude and are rude to customers. I cant be the problem when several others have similar reviews regarding the lack of professionalism in your establishment.

One person behind the counter was working to check out the 6 or 7 people in line. While the person next to him looked down and stared at the pen in his hand instead of helping myself with something behind the counter or any of the other customers in the store needing assistance. No time for bad service. Guy working gets a star.

Love this place, they have great selection of comics, action figures and keep an eye on Black Friday deals on some of their items.The place is clean and neat and they have so much to offer and rotate their display more often.

Product selection is great but the best thing is help for non-main stream reading choices. Everyone knows Marvel, they have advised me on some incredible adult readings. Don’t live here but will go again

Ive been to this comic shop on two trips to Chicago. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Unlike most comic shops Ive been in, no one asked me if I was there for my boyfriend or husband - it was refreshing to not have my gender called out when I walked in. I loaded up on indie comics the first time, and to second time found semi-rare toys for my collection. Definitely worth a visit if youre a nerd at all.
