First I want to recommend and THANK JESUS !!!! For going above and beyond for the service and professionalism him and his crew provide. I needed my wife’s speakers replaced at a very short notice. Northside did a great, clean job installing a new Kenwood CarPlay / Android Auto head-unit, along with a backup camera, steering wheel controls and satellite radio. Very reasonable prices as well; definitely recommend.

I thought this was a great place but I went in to replace speakers and when I left my passenger door doesnt open from the inside. They said they would get part from junkyard and replace but its been 2 weeks now and I still cant open my passenger door from the inside. Update, still dont have functioning passenger door after service here. Update 5/5/21(like 9 months+ later) still nothing from this place and a passenger door that only opens from the outside

Christian, his dad and the other gentleman were extremely professional and did a flawless job installing my Kenwood double din radio along with a Kicker sub, which they installed under the passenger seat in my 2017 Honda Accord and made invisible. On 4/22/17 Christian worked his magic on reprogramming the Audiopipe amp, and with the new Alpine head unit, my 2012 Corolla rocks (with the new Memphis 6x9s and 6.5s as well)! When I first bought my new Scion iM in 2016, I started thinking about how I could make a sharp looking, but somewhat spartan vehicle, a little more distinctive on a couple of different levels!!! Now, mind you, brand new, this Toyota built , brand new design for 2016 listed for around $21K, but it had great bones, very good handling, a great amount of fun to drive, but the exterior lighting was old old halogen bulbs for the headlights, and although the interior was pretty sharp in appearance for an entry level car in the first year of sales in the US, it paled somewhat in comparison to my brand new 2015 top of the line suv! The seats, the handling, the mpg, the overall of it’s feel was much greater than cars that I have spent much more $ on previously! I first became acutely aware of some of it’s shortcomings, when on the very 1st drive out of the dealer, a stupid fm driver blew thru a redlight, and nearly ended my fun with a new toy! As I laid on the Scion’s horn, all I heard was a tiny tweet like from one of my first motorbikes! That very same day I went home and searched for air horns to put on the new car!! I found them on amazon, on them started looking for a shop to do the installation! After calling a few I was aware of, I came across NORTHSIDE SOUNDS on Elston ave, went and met Jesus and Christian, the father and son owners who do all of the work themselves! Now, since this car was very basis, and one thing I did not like was the lack of lighting for the inside drivers and passenger door controls- could not see them at all, the guys came up with an awesome, yet economical solution to my problem! Next, they installed a multi-color ambient led system , lit up both the door handles and the controls as well as the hidden console, underfoot areas in both sides in front and rear! Then they changed the paltry halogens in front with brand new 7th generation LEDs(I went from like 700 lumens each to 7000 lumens each headlight), and I was blown away! We also had the entire car tinted at a awesome price(lifetime warranty btw),they changed out all of the yellowish interior bulbs with new LEDs, and the interior at night is incredibly bright, as well as all of the rear lighting , so after backing up was a dream! Next up, replace the factory weak speakers with the “awesome” Alpine AR-26 coax dual cones with magnets easily 50-75x the factory’s tiny ones! And for the coup-de-tat, since I had the dealer install a Viper-Python multi phase alarm system with remote start, Jesus and Christian told me about the new add-on module, called “SmartStart” which tracks the exact placement in real time, links right up to my smartphone, has a valet mode, a satellite pos system that even tells me the fastest way to get home or to work, and they set it all up in no time at all!! They have just installed new 2-stage road lights in the lower air dam, new LEDs in my custom rear wind diffuser, and btw, back in 2016, we jointly designed crazy unique led accent set of lighting in the honeycomb of the front grill, which In to this day I get accolades from the reps at Toyota, the mechanics,and pretty much everyone that sees the one and only custom 1 of a kind Scion iM, which was only produced in 2016!Needless to say, I have had lighting upgrades done to our 2010 Hyundai Elantra, 2005 Camry, new audio in both cars, remote starts in both, changed all factory lighting to LEDs, even the 2015 sub, as well as new air horns and an 8” sunblock tint strip across all 4 cars as well as upgraded total vehicle tinting!!In closing, these guys know it all, do it all, and stand behind everything they do, and on price point they can’t be beat as they install only the best quality for yout $$$$&I

Worst sevice and horrible job. Dont come here for any of your AUDIO NEEDS.. they only had to cut the box a bit more and install threaded insert they cut the hole too big. inserts just fell out. There solution was to put in regular wood screws. Now my new box has holes everywhere leaks air and this is a sealed box. There is threaded insert inside and lots of dust didnt even clean the wood dust. That will ruin your speakers.They are no better than getting someone on the street to do it for $20 dollars. Pls stay away from this shop. Unless you like beginners jobs.

Avoid this rush shop. They tried to sell me parts that they didnt even install. I have pictures of the 10 dollar part they installed in the place of the 200 part they charged me for. They even botched my tint job. Scam artists.

That a garage doesnt even want a business, I thought it was a great business, dont spend your money, they do dirty work, its better to pay someone from the street to do this job, it works out much better. I went to install a radio with a camera that I bought online. almost $ 190 dollars in pure installation plus horrible work they broke the dashboard and a part of my radio did not even apologize in the end they do not guarantee their work you leave the garage and they do not take responsibility for their work in the end they better pay someone from the street $ 20 is better and cleaner I think I do not recommend anyone to go where they are like voting their money is council nothing more ........
