Same experience as the one of Angeline Kennedy. An employee was so nice to open the door for us. We went in and another employee said it’s 8:02 we are closed. By courtesy she would have helped us since we were in already. We left and we didn’t come back the next day instead we went to Teuscher chocolate.

My admiration to this cutie at sweet corner with a history of 101 years!!! Warm environment and caring people. Our family loved this place and got warm during a cold outside weather. Thank you!

Really good !! The mint chocolate ice cream had a little too much ice cream for me but that’s just my preference. The cookie dough was amazing! I totally recommend this place for the ice cream

We walked in at 7:54 to grab a box of chocolates during our trip and one of the employees asked us what are you trying to do? It is 7:54 and we close at 8 so we cant help you. I was disappointed to be treated so poorly when we had arrived with plenty of time to checkout before they closed.

Wow! Perfect location, right by Chicago river. They have huge variety of candies, plus they have ice cream, coffee etc. They have some seating outside (4 small tables with 2 chairs each)

The ladies at this location are just fantastic. Went in with a custom request and they were able to help me in a timely fashion. The service was amazing and so is the product. Keep up the great work, will definitely be back.

There was no strawberry in chocolate for a week in this location. I wish Fannie May could add white chocolate or vanilla chips covers for strawberry. Samples are great! Thank you for good customer service 🍬🍫🍭🍓🍰

If my parents, siblings, uncles and I could be described with the name of a favorite treat, it’d be Fanny May Dark Vanilla Creams.We enjoyed a mini family reunion just before St Patrick’s Day to see the Chicago River green, and to visit one of the three downtown Fanny May shops.Mission accomplished. Had a taste of heaven and brought back a few boxes to share with friends down here in Mayberry.

Nice shop, I wish it had some smaller gift boxes in it rather than the large ones with 15+ pieces. You cant do a custom box of the loose chocolates in the case that is smaller than that. But they do have seasonal items and some things were on sale. I got a nice souvenir tin of chocolates to bring home.

A Chicago classic, high quality chocolate, pralines and ice cream. Nice option to buy even just one or two pieces pralines from a counter. Very fresh.

I was so excited to see this shop as my husband and I walked across the bridge on Michigan Avenue. Seeing Fannie May on the other side of the river brought back fond memories of my childhood in the Midwest. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and charming. Easter candy was 50% off so I was able to enjoy my traditional Easter treat: my once-a-year hollow chocolate bunny. Being a Chicago Cubs fan, I was thrilled to see the Cubbies™ Milk Chocolate Bars. Visiting this shop brought a smile to my face.

We stopped in to get out of the snow and Chicago wind. Luke welcomed us in like family, gave us samples, and printed out directions to get us around the city. Not to mention the delicious chocolate which he generously let us sample. I love great salespeople and excellent customer service. Kudos to this store for both!

Great chocolates and the people there are honestly some of the most kind hearted people you will meet. There is an older African American women that made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a heads up on a coupon they had. Her and our cashier went above and beyond with their hospitality. It was a very very pleasant experience.

Nice ice cream something different from the rest Ive taste chocolate flavor looks like the elaboration if they use milk it feels to eat it, the very nice atmosphere near Michigan Street.

My wife and I stopped for a treat after our conference, and everything was delicious. Just as important, the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and engaging. Lawrence, in particular, was a great mode of customer service. This was indeed a 5-star experience.

Chocolate is good. No offense, just don’t like their service. Treated customers in a weird manner, like tired of answering questions with a cold, smileless face. Finally, found a relatively friendly front counter to check out. Not recommend this store. Would recommend other store or chocolatier in Chicago.

I visited Fanny May TWICE in the span of three hours, mostly because I couldnt stop thinking about the Candy Apple artisan candy I sampled so I had to go back and buy some. Ernie and the store manager were friendly and extremely helpful with their recommendations. Would highly recommend the Candy Apple and the Peanut Butter Fudge--theyre heavenly!

The chocolate here is okay but Id rather order Lindt for better quality and lower price.

If your in Chicago and are looking for a sweet treat this is a good place to get it. I got a peanut butter pretzel Sunday. I do not recommend this because it was $3 more than 2 scoop and all they gave me for a Sunday was two scoops and pretzels on top. Meh.

The Best

This was easily one of the best chocolate dripped strawberries Ive ever had in my entire life. The chocolate was like silk and was the perfect sweetness and the strawberry was fresh. I wanted another one immediately.

Looks like a must-go chocolate shop but not true. The chocolates was not really tasty and some had even melted when I opened my luggage after reaching home. Not advisable to buy if you are travelling home with it via flight. Also staff charged me 70 cents for each bag I had requested from them after purchasing over hundred dollars... Not tourist friendly.

We stopped here on a Chocolate Walk with the Windy City Explorers. What an awesome time we had! They treated us like royalty, handing out samples, talking about the history of the brand and giving us discounts on all sorts of things! I simply devoured a Fannie May ice cream cone!

Lawrence is an excellent asset to the company. He offer me the special where you buy a box and you get a box free. He even recommended the one he likes the best. They got nice ice creams and shakes. But takes way too long, only 2 employees at the ice cream counter and one cashier for the whole store. Took me atleast 15-20 mins just to get one milkshake.

Worst coffee I ever had. The hazelnut coffee tasted horrible, was barely worm and was served from a thermos, not brewed.
