I stopped by here one night as I was looking for some hair clips. Of course you will begin to see other items that you need. It is a pretty small space and I was enjoying the alone time because I was the only customer in the store. Well, I guess I was enjoying it too much because the store clerk sent her (seem to look) 10 year old son over to spy on me. I was annoyed and shocked that another AA woman would do that to an AA woman. I hope she and her son are doing well.

Love this store and the Owner Eric.. I watched him and his family stock and build this store wig by wig product by product day and night until they opened the doors to the public.. He’s a cool and down to earth cool cat!! U should stop in and shop sometimes.. Reasonable prices..

They are disrespectful! First off he tried to pay me $9.00 to work there which is below minimum wage. Then I explained to him my professional background (because I deserved to be payed more) and he asked me a question, “how do you make you hair flat iron in 5 minutes without using the flat irons) he then went to go get a product he claimed was “natural.” I specifically told him no because I do not spray stuff on my $500 lace front, I told him that it will mess my hair up. He guaranteed that this product would not do such thing because it was natural. So he then sprayed my hair anyway. Now it did exactly what I said it would do mess up. I tried calling to explain to him what happened and he was very disrespectful and didn’t care about it. $50 do not compare to a $500 wig. He is sad and shows how he really feel about his customers/potential employees. Minimum wage in Chicago is $14!

Everytime I am patronizing this Beauty supply store I always receive warm and welcoming service.The store has been nicely restocked after being victimized.And they still offer friendly services.

Owner was very rude and disrespectful. I was in a rush and needed him to point out products, he acted as if he was bothered. There was someone at the register and no other customers so time wasn’t the problem.
