I have a 2003 Z4 3.0. They keep it in great shape. Very affordable. I highly recommend Bavarian Motors. They are located about a10 minute walk from the CTA Blue Line Western station.

I like working on my BMW. When its beyond my capabilities, this is the only shop I trust. The biggest reason being that they are laser focused on fixing the issue, not maximizing revenue per service client. That is the reason theyre so busy. Technicians are also incredibly generous with their time/expertise. They know I work on my car and are more than happy to answer any questions I have and help me navigate issues that come up.

Benny, Robby & Bob are all superb mechanics & theyve been at this a long time. Experienced with BMWs and reasonable. Tough to find mechanics like these guys, plus friendly!

Poor customer service, car was dropped off Thursday, nobody touched base until Monday and even Monday they were confused about the items that Id requested be repaired. Currently mid afternoon Tuesday and some items havent been started. Im going to pick up my car and have someone else address the issues, the timeline here is absurd. Replacing a tire usually takes 1 day even with special order tires, were pushing a week here and they still havent placed the order.

Quotes are very fair priced compared to other BMW mechanics in Chicagoland. Price and the super helpful and professional staff will be the reason I continue taking my car here.

Very honest and reasonable prices. When I brought my car for service I was informed that the issue would be covered under manufacturers warranty and should be brought to the dealer. Most places would have made the repairs and charged me for it regardless. Not Bavarian Motors. Great people who make owning a BMW more affordable.

Poor customer service and I was not greeted by who I spoke on the phone with. The Rob/Robbie guy is very rude and precise with it, does not care for the customers needs really. Just another greedy company.

Really, really happy with these guys. A car-savvy neighbor recommended them for help troubleshooting a ghost in the machine electrical fault that kept cropping up, after a few other places just wanted to randomly replace parts. Benny and his team spent a half hour, figured it out and solved it right the first time. If I need more work on my 135is, Im coming right back here.

This was my first time coming here and overall was a good experience. I contacted them yesterday to come today regarding an oil change and they were able to get me in without an issue. I brought in my BMW 550 and finished the oil change promptly. They didnt try to upsell me on anything. The price was very reasonable and everybody was friendly. I definitely plan on returning for future work.

I have had my car serviced at Bavarian Motors seven times. That ought to be enough for a review. I am really glad I found this service shop for my BMW. I have always taken good care of my car and I really trust the team at Bavarian Motors to get it fixed right the first time. I have an extended warranty on my car and there were a couple instances where I had to commit to a certain amount of money for the technician to confirm the problem for the insurance company, but their diagnosis of the issue was always spot on. I will gladly continue to take my BMW to Bavarian Motors for repairs.For slightly more context, Bavarian Motors has repaired the following items on my car (most of which were indicated by Service Engine Soon lights or other dashboard warnings): fuel injectors, valve cover, door lock actuator, turbo inlet pipes, oil pan gasket, air conditioning condenser (in the dashboard), and again for a routine service.

Smooth experience. Better price then Auto Nation Honda of Chandler for the exact same vehicle. Was worried was going to have the closer be pushy and try to talk me into the UN-needed things I should buy at the end, but that didnt happen, so my blood pressure remained low during the entire experience. Which was so sweet!

Found Bavarian Motors on Yelp and after reading all the amazing reviews, decided to make an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was extremely easy and they had several options of dates/times that worked with my schedule. Had previously been to 2 local dealerships regarding the passenger rear view mirror not working properly and received very high estimates.Today I was greeted at the door by Benny (owner), explained the issue and he gave me 2 options to fix the problem and the approximate cost which was much much lower than the dealership. I waited about 30mins and Benny explained that they made a simple fix and there was NO COST! I was pleasantly surprised by his honesty and friendly manner. Benny gave me a few tips on what to pay attention to in the future in terms of repairs and oil change needs which was very helpful.Do yourself a favor, pay attention to the reviews and make an appointment here for your next service. I will no longer make the long trek out of the city to a dealership up North with rude customer service. Will be coming back to Bavarian Motors for future car issues. Thanks Benny!

Benny and the entire staff is amazing. They have been servicing my BMW for about 3 years. Always honest, fair and let me know what maintenance will be needed in the future. Sometimes when calling I get their voicemail and leave a message. Amy in the office calls back to schedule. I would not own my 10 year old BMW if I didnt have them to service at a fair price. Extremely thorough and friendly mechanics. Theyll tell you everything that needs to done, as well as give you the full list of repairs that can put off for a while. As with any BMW mechanic, be prepared to part with large sums. These guys are excellent, but not cheap.

Theres are reasons why they have mostly 5 stars reviews, because they are good, honest and reasonable in cost.My car didnt past the emission test, so I took the car in for repair. After a check up Benny explain what the problem is most likely, its the valve and its also the cheapest thing to repair. Great. Than he ask when we want the car back? I say in 2 hours? or next day as we live outside of the city. He say he can get the part in in half an hour and than another hour or less to install it. We went to lunch came back and car was ready to go. No up-sell, no drama, no big deal. Thank you Benny!

Very bad experience. We took a bmw for overheat problem and Rubby the manager call us to give the price for the fan and his work , and we decided not to repair with them and find a cheaper way , because to change the fan took 2 min , and we send the town to bring back the car.Incredible but true the car arrived with a different fan, we have the prove because we bought by amazon and we couldn’t return to buy another because is differentWe call him and he very agresivo said you don’t have the prove to denounce and hang up the phone.We send email but no answer. A shame for the reviews they have. They disappointed is. We don’t recommend this shop

I highly recommend these guys since they know BMWs inside and out. My experience with them is an interesting one for me. I was visiting the city from Ohio with my girlfriend. On one very very cold Chicago day, while we were waiting for a traffic light on the magnificent mile, my E46 decided to start overheating. I immediately pulled over and I knew I was in need for a good mechanic. I looked at the Google reviews and found R&N Bavarian to be a very favored choice. I called a tow truck and got my car towed to their place. Even though they were extremely busy, they understood my situation, accepted the car for immediate service, and promised to fix it as soon as possible so I can go back to Ohio. Within couple hours, I have been told that the fan clutch was the culprit and they were able to fix it. They did not even charge me labor, it was just the parts. Highly recommended!!

I had a noise establish when the engine was in idle. I took my car in. I met Robby who was able to diagnose the problem within 30s and told me crank case was not properly ventilated and I needed a new valve cover. The problem was fixed. The car has no rough idle or noise anymore. Benny was able to explain me all the work done on the car when I picked it up. He is very thorough explaining the work done or it might need in near future. I hope these guys do very well with their business and keep on providing honest and trustworthy service to BMW owners. I am lucky to have them in town.

Coming from out of town I contacted Bavarian to schedule a PPI on a BMW that I had hoped to purchase. I cannot speak to the actual mechanical services because the car sold before I got in, but did want to call out:1) Customer service was excellent including the flexibility with scheduling since I was from out of town and their willingness to set aside time without charging me.2) When I learned the car was sold and I had to cancel my appointment last second with Bavarian, the mechanic spent 10-15 minutes with me on the phone providing great advice on things I should be looking for during my BMW purchase journey.Obviously the actual work/task a company provides is at the top, but customer service is a very close 2nd and through my experience Bavarian excels.

Had bad experience in this shop, Robby is the most aggresive mechanic Ive ever seen in Chicago. BTW They lost my splash shield and denied. They claimed the shield was put in my trunk, the shield is way more bigger than the trunk how did they make it? Ridiculous.

Last night, my 2007 e92 started shaking and loosing power and the check engine light came on. I got the code checked at advance auto parts and it was a 5th cylinder misfire. That same night I emailed a couple places in the city to see who could diagnose and fix the problem, Aimee from R&N replied early in the morning and told me I can come right in the morning. I had work until the afternoon so I couldnt come til late afternoon, she said that was fine. As soon as I came in, I was given a warm welcome by Benny and Robbie. They took my car in to diagnose the problem and within an hour they found it the trouble was with the coil and had to replace it. The price they gave me was very reasonable. The turnaround time was super quick! These guys definitely know their stuff when it comes to cars, especially BMWs. They even cleared some annoying notifications on my iDrive that can only be cleared by the special bavtech took without me even asking! They also let me know a few things I would want to get looked at in the near future and a price quote with it. This is hands down, the best place to go to get your car serviced!
