I have used Rock on Wheels multiple times for minor adjustments and major overhauls. Work is top notch, completed on time for a reasonable price. People who work there are friendly and professional. They take time to answer my stupid questions and explain their work on my bikes. ROW also assists with local rides: Tour de Prairie and Ride for Sight. They have a good stock of accessories and bike maintenance stuff. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, you will feel welcome here.

I have done a lot of business with Rock on Wheels over the past two years when I got back into cycling when the YMCA closed down for the pandemic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and totally professional. Prices are reasonable. They have gone out of their way to address issues with my bikes which are mostly over 25 years old. I wouldnt take my stuff anywhere else. They have often addressed simple problems like flats or adjustments while I waited. For jobs that take longer, their estimates for completion are spot on, if not returned sooner than they promised.

Need to know the best way to extend my handle bar height. The staff at Rock On Wheels showed me the solution and walked me through other issue that could arise and how to handle them. Professional, friendly and helpful.

Don’t use this business. I took my daughter’s bike into get fixed and was told it would take a few weeks. I went back in since I never got a call and George said he called and texted me but never got a response. I’m guessing that he wrote my phone number down wrong so he gave her bike away. His response is that it is my fault and there is nothing he will do about it.

Rock On Wheels is an awesome shop and they work fast! During my last mtb ride in the Rapid City area, the pistons in my rear brake froze up. We were headed to Curt Gowdy SP the next day, so we stopped in at Rock On Wheels on our way through Cheyenne to see if they could fix or replace the brake. Not only did they fix it, it was ready the next morning and the brake works better than it did when I bought the bike! And they even offered to lend me a bike so I could ride while they had mine. I cant say enough good things about this shop! The owner and staff were extremely personable, gave us trail recommendations and maps, and went above and beyond to make sure I could still ride while my bike was being fixed!

Helpful staff that made sure our rental bikes fit us before sending us out. The staff also stayed past closing when we underestimated the drive time back from our ride. Would rent again from them!

This was my first visit to Rock On Wheels. It will not be my last. I needed a replacement inner tube. I assumed I would have to leave the bike, but had her in and done and out in about 10 minutes. I am very pleased! UPDATE: blew out the back tube this time. I got the same great service AND they stopped my front brakes from rubbing. ROCK On Wheels rocks! They are my first and best choice for bike sales and service!

I would’ve never guessed the variety of discs this place has. I was thoroughly impressed by the selection! Not to mention, they also offer a reward to anyone who finds a disc and turns it in so they can return it to the proper owner ($3). What an amazing shop!

Purchased Verve 2 Disc lowstep Trek bike last May, which was not available at any Fort Collins bike shops. Rock N wheels had one available.George, the owner was friendly, helpful and I was able to take of trail run.I love the shop , any questions and assistance I needed George was there to help.

As a active runner, I wanted to get into the triathlon game. I decided to buy my first tri bike. I was in the market for a used bike, as I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on my first bike. Knowing nothing about bikes, I went to Rock on Wheels for advice. They told me my size and what to look for in a bike. That gave me the confidence to look for a used bike on my own. Once I found a bike, I needed the bike fitted to myself. I can ride a bike but I’ve never rode a bike like this, nor have I been clipped in to the pedals. The whole fitting process was great. George is the owner and the person who fit me to the bike. He’s very knowledgeable and will answer any questions or concerns you might have during the process. After we were finished with the fit, we went outside and just rode up and down the road clipping in and out of the pedals. Once I felt comfortable, George grabbed a bike and we went on the greenway to test the bike. He was there the whole time and really made me feel comfortable on the bike. Now I can ride on my own pretty comfortably. The whole experience was great!! Everyone is really friendly there and will help you out in any way. Thanks Rock on Wheels.

Bought two new Trek bikes here and my girlfriend asked to have a seat switched out off her old bike to the new bike and they charged her $10 to do it. I was floored after spending that much money, the owner couldn’t at least give me a break on maybe 10 minutes of his time. So much for hometown feel.

The mechanic in this place is awesome! My vehicle broke down here, while moving, so I figured that Id check out the cycling scene and make a video. I stopped in to check out Rock On Wheels and I was amazed to see the mechanic wearing a mask. Nice to see that he cares enough about his clients to do that, unlike where I moved from. I was having a heck of a time finding a cable stay for my lefty fork and he gave me one that he had just replaced for a client, free of charge. Then he guided me to another local riding spot to check out.

Ive done business with Rock On Wheels since 2008. They obviously do a great job because Im still riding the same bike I bought then. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly, service is good and done in a reasonable amount of time.

We were very satisfied with Rock on Wheels, we have used them many times for our snow gear. By picking up our gear the night before we can get on the road early and on the slopes while everyone else that rents is getting fitted at the pro shop.

Took my pair of Black Crows in for a tune 3 days before Christmas, and George had them back to me the very next morning! The quality of the tune was amazing (after he put half a stick of P-Tex on my bases, thats how rough of shape my skis were in) and made them look virtually brand new again. Their customer service was phenomenal, and I would highly recommend George and his shop for any of your outdoor adventure needs. I will be going back for sure.

This is a review of my online experience with Rock On Wheels. I found the site because I was looking for an MVP Nitro disc golf disc. At this time Nitros are almost impossible to find, but Rock On had them, plus a couple other stable discs I couldnt find at other places I normally shop at. Their online store is clean and easy to use, prices are the same or better than big online disc retailers, and shipping price was better than the big online retailers. I added this shop to my bookmarks and will be checking these guys out again next time Im searching for discs!

I called Rock on Wheels this afternoon, I was trying to find a place that could replace the innertubes on my bike so I could ride it this year, and work on my health, after being so house bound over the past 18 months with the pandemic and since my surgery. I spoke to a very curtious young man who informed me that they would be able to do exactly what I needed and it would take less than an hour to replace both front and back innertubes on my bike and quoted a price that was extremely reasonable. I loaded my bike up and took it over to their shop. I wheeled my sad bike in, and a pleasant and knowledgeable young man listened to what I needed and took my information, and said that they were not busy it should be done in a half hour. I told him that there was no hurry I had errands to run, but I could pick it up later, if not that afternoon, then the next morning. I knew that my bike was in good hands.They notified me by text message that my bike was completed and ready to pick up at 5pm, I texted back that I was on my way to pick it up. When I arrived, my bike was completed, and looked much better than when I had dropped it off. The technician helped me load my bike properly on the bike rack and advised me of a safer way to transport my bike, which I was very grateful. The whole cost of the 2 innertubes, the installation with tax was $40.26. In all it was a very pleasant and friendly experience. I certainly would recommend this bike shop, they are helpful and informative, as well as cost effective and easy to find. Great job!

I love this shop. The staff genuinely seem to have a love for cycling and a passion for putting people on the road. I come here again and again and keep having this same experience. Today I had a more complex build out and for over two hours Cody helped me decide between components. To have someone talk you through the process, explain differences between parts, weigh out the cost to fun ratio, etc is a very special experience. One that you only get at a shop that employs people with an awesome amount of stoke for what they do. I highly recommend this shop.

Rock on Wheels is fabulous. They bend over backwards for you and always with great customer service. George is wonderful! This trip I finally sound a 24” for my 6 year old and they put it together in no time and gave the kid a quick primer.George found a bike for me a few years ago in Ft Collins and sent me there. He could have sold me a bike from his shop, but he found one with a scratch and deep discount elsewhere. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

Not only do they have a great inventory of discs- they have a GREAT customer service team. I made a mistake and bought the wrong disc- I reached out to see what could be done and within MINUTES they called me and fixed my mistake. Whenever I need a new another discs- they will be the first place I look.
