I had an outstanding experience at mattress firm on Volvo parkway Chesapeake. Melvin Johnson was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly and worked with us to get the best mattress for the best price. I sought him out for a second purchase weeks later with the same outstanding service. The delivery was performed by two courteous young men who set up the mattresses and removed the old; an excellent experience from beginning to end. I will definitely go back to see Melvin the next time I need a mattress and have been passing his cards out to friends and family.

Mr Johnson was very good. He saved me money at this Store. Delivery is free I went to Virginia Beach Store they wanted to charge me $100.00 for delivery.

Cora Leigh who works at the store on Volvo in Greenbrier was the most helpful salesperson I ever dealt with. When I first walked in another salesperson did not want to help me as I was returning a second mattress because it was way too firm and was not getting good night sleep. Cora came over with a big smile (behind her mask) and listened to me and said “ I will be more than happy to help you get a good night sleep with another mattress”. She took her time and explained more to me than any other MF salesperson had in the past. She knew the differences between the mattresses and the different foams and gels In Today’s mattresses. If you want a mattress go and see Cora on Volvo parkway in Greenbrier and she will take good care of you.

One of the employees was demonstrating symptoms of covid.Observation:A suspicious amount of 5-star reviews for this store come from reviewers with maximum one or two reviews. The more critical feedback comes from folks who have given their opinions many times before. Strangely spaced reviews too.

We exchanged a mattress that was uncomfortable for me to an upgrade. Them my wife was I comfortable on the upgrade so I wanted to exchange for a final mattress. There was a misunderstanding with the exchange policy and at first the store manager was unwilling to help. This was very frustrating, especially since the 120 night exchange period wasn’t explained to only work one time. The store manager I called was aware of the confusion and was still unwilling to help. After having the district manager get involved, he instructed the store manager to honor another exchange. After the situation was made right, we will definitely use mattress firm for our future mattress purchases.

Watch what you buy here. They boosted up the price of a mattress so we could get the adjustable base for the special. Also added in red carpet without us knowing and the delivery guys didnt even tell us. Now, 5 days later and we are being forced to lay on this uncomfortable mattress for 21 days before we return it. We will be buying a new one and putting this one in the garage until 21 days is up apparently. Wont be shopping here again!

Came in just to test out some mattresses before purchasing and I ended up with a complete bed set! (This is a good thing, trust me) Melvin Johnson completed my transaction tonight and he made it super smooth and fun. He is such a sweetheart and was more than pleasant to talk to, plus he helped me save a lot of money. My boyfriend had recently bought a Tempur-pedic, at a Mattress Firm, and I have slept over multiple times and I couldn’t see myself sleeping on any other mattress so of course I had to get one. There was no way I could get exactly what he got as it would’ve cost me 6k but instead, I got a similar Tempur-Pedic feel (probably more suitable for me anyways) which is actually a size bigger than what my boyfriend has and it came out less than what he paid for. But none of this would have been possible without Melvin. If I ever need to get another mattress or if I need to switch the one I bought, I am definitely not going to anyone else except Melvin. I was highly satisfied with the experience my partner and I had today with area manager Luke. Very informative and VERY patient. I come from a sales background and not once did I feel pressure or rushed. I felt very comfortable and very grateful for the deal Luke got us today. Loved the personalized experience, the attention to the details of what we wanted, and being thorough and educated on the products to help us make a selection. East Coast furniture out in VA beach has given us the run around with our mattress. Sold it to us and it became Discontinued during the two months we waited.
