So glad we had our Saturday brunch here. The watermelon cucumber mint lemonade was refreshing and yummy. The Farms Goat Cheese Bruschetta is a must try- absolutely delicious basil pesto tomatoes. I had the Rhode Island Style Fried Shrimp and I really enjoyed it- banana pepper relish was a great compliment to the shrimp. Service was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!
Awesome diner, throwback to the old school. They have great food, diverse menu and amazing deserts. Staff is always friendly and outgoing. BYOB and they stay open late while most diners are a mere shell of themselves and unable to serve the late night crowd due to COVIDphobia.
Phenomenal service overall this was me and my girlfriends first time dining and the food was fresh the atmosphere was very good the food came out on time no complaints would recommend this to anyone breezing through on the highway and they also have a good vegetarian selection for any passengers that ride along!!
Excellent service from Waitress Dulci. She served five hungry senior men, as easy as two. Very thorough and professional. Our food was diverse and each meal was well appreciated. Very tasty and not cheap, but worth the price. Well be back. As an active senior group, we walk three days a week, Good vibes and bonding. After our walk, we find an interesting venue to eat. Silver Diner meets our needs & desires...thanks
Tara was our server and she was AMAZING! Attentive and kind. Food came out perfect. Thank you for everything.
Awesome place to get food! We ate here twice on our trip and both times were excellent. We didn’t have a wait time to be seated, and received prompt service. Food was delicious as well.
This is not your conventional jersey diner; this place serves plant-based products, I was even surprised that they have just egg on the menu. That night I was craving a cheesesteak, so I decided to order that. The sandwich came with fries, a side of coleslaw, and a hot cherry pepper spread. The sandwich itself, was very flavorful and I enjoyed it. However, I felt there should have been a little more meat on the sandwich. but other than that, the food was great.
Good shakes, but over priced, Shrimp and grits was very good but served warm at best, A few more shrimp would’ve made it a better value so we have to give it over pricing, The bison burger With goat cheese and pesto was very good decent portion, would’ve made a better value if they didn’t give chintzy shoestring fries, I myself had ordered the pastrami Reuben I asked if they could replace it with a beyond burger patty and vegan cheese they said no problem and it came out with pastrami and regular cheese and some kind of weird sauce on the side again chintzy shoestring fries. The sandwich was good but a meager portion compared to real Jewish style deli Reuben, Our server was very nice, just a little inexperienced trash was left on the table along with the menus during the meal which made it a little tough to navigate, our check came to $111 which included our tip for three shakes one ice tea, and one coffee along with the three meals, The value is just not enough to bring us back I understand that people probably don’t go here for value, they should not skimp on the portions, and I don’t think there’s any excuse for shoestring fries.
The service was very good even on a busy Sunday morning. Having lived much of my life on the west coast I was hesitant to order huevos rancheros in New Jersey at a chain based in Maryland. But this place is apparently known for its fancy spin on traditional dishes, so I gave it a try. If youre looking for a pile of meat decorated by deep fried chips, this is the dish for you! Otherwise heat up some tortillas at home, top them with fried eggs & salsa and youll have a meal thats tastier and healthier. Throw in some chorizo if you like, but it shouldnt be the dominant flavor or texture. This seems to be a well-run restaurant following corporate recipes. My experience is no reflection on the staff or this location. Next time I will try a standard eggs & bacon breakfast.
The first whole foods and vegan restaurant Ive ever ate at and the meals were delicious. I wish I had enough money to tip the waiter whose name was Etan I believe. Great place!
Great food and excellent service. Very clean and a modern take on an old school diner
A little pricey but not your ordinary greasy spoon diner fare. Very good quality. Pretty much gourmet. Some dishes are quite exotic. Food is very fresh. Something for everyone whether vegan or carnivore and you will find delicious selections if you are limited by food allergies or sensitivities. Even picky children will find something that delights them. There are little working jukeboxes on each booth too!
It has good vegan and vegetarian options, which I believe is rare amongst American Diners. Some vegan desserts is all that is missing. Ill definitely be coming back again with others.
Great little place with such a beautiful nostalgic feel. The food selection is amazing and very healthy. Its a go to place if you want something a little bit different.
Absolutely excellent. Got a salmon dish that was cooked and seasoned to perfection as was the accompanying asparagus and mashed potatoes, This was the 3rd time I Had eaten from here this week because it was just so good!
Was in town for a work trip, this became my GO TO. Love love love. So many options. Surprisingly healthy, for ANY restaurant, but especially a diner. Great burger, awesome salad, roasted veggies were fantastic. I wish I had this place in Chicago
The Operations Partner really made our dining experience superb. I ordered their chicken and pecan waffle, my friend ordered the cod fish platter. Food was very good. Ill definitely be back. 😊
Came in here around 9 last night expecting standard diner food but was amazed at the menu options! The ancient grain shrimp salad was delicious, and the lamb meatballs were incredible. It was nice to find such healthy choices, especially after 8pm when most health food chains are closed!Service was friendly and pretty fast too. Id definitely come back.
New Jersey is famous for diners. This place has very fresh food. Prices reasonably ,plates generous. Employees on point food on point.I suggest to anyone cruising by grab a bite.PS The establishment support local farmers.
Excellent place to dine if you have dietary restrictions. Many vegan dishes. The meatless taco bowl is OUTSTANDING! The pecan pancakes amazing. I love this place.
My husband and I were here Friday because they have healthy options. We love healthy options and HOT food. I ordered a Bacon Bleu burger well-done. It came well-done on the outside and pink on the inside. The toppings, onions and bacon were cold. The french fries felt like they took from a plate that someone didnt eat and just threw them on my plate. I dont ever send my food back because some people are vindictive. I just take a vow NEVER to eat there again.
Good service, excellent selections for brunch. I had the Huevos Ranchetos with Bison hash. A bit spicy but delicious. My wife had a Benedict with crab which was delicious as well. We remembered being there before and cant wait to return
My friends are I servers ourselves at a diner so we understand how the industry works. We saw our food sitting in the line for 10 minutes. When it came to our table is was cold. I ordered pork roll work my meal and received sausage. They told me they gave me sausage because they have been out of pork roll for a couple of weeks. They didn’t tell me that when ordering. The three of us each ordered eggs and with three drinks the bill was 62 dollars. We ordered chocolate milk but there was barely any chocolate. Our server’s name was Gary and he was really sweet but I think he was still a bit new. Everybody there seemed to be walking like a sloth. We asked the manager about the check and why it was still so high after we added everything up and he just rolled his eyes at us. Seems like the diner is run by children.
Very good food...have basic diner food with some twists and more inventive options available. Good vegetarian options as well.
Food was very good, will come back
I love that they added a long list of Vegan options to their menu. Everything is carefully labeled with what is vegan, gluten free, etc. I had the cauliflower Mac and cheese with beyond meatballs and it was delicious. The cheese sauce was so good. There was a stir fry on the menu that looked good and Im eager to go back and try. We also shared the avocado toast as an app.
It was ok. New menu with healthier options. Soup was bland. Kids menu was better than adult menu. Server was friendly but there wasnt enough staff so I had to eat inside. I loved the old menu better because it tasted better.
Dinner food updated and with lots of veg and gluten free options. We also had really great service. I loved it.
My only complaint about this place is that there arent any locations back in Chicago. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu, the music is poppin and retro (Im an old soul), and the food? Im torn between something new and something I already love whenever I go there... 6/5 stars, easily.
This restaurant is FANTASTIC. The food is DELECTABLE > GREAT service.
$50 for chicken fingers and a tuna melt. Fries were cold. Soup was half full. We thought this was a diner, more of a traditional restaurant with a diner exterior for the novelty.
The food here was very fresh! I loved how the food was prepared. It seemed very healthy. The staff was wonderful too!
Went with some friends to grab a late bite. Food was great, Christian our server was great. Super polite.
I used to love this place but its not the same anymore. The last 3 times Ive been there I ordered a well-done and received bloody barely cooked burgers. Last time I was there the server billed my credit card twice and I had to go back and talk to the manager. A big attraction used to be the milkshakes but even that is now just a few flvors plus the place is no longer as well kept as it used to be. It seems as though they are not at all the same place that was so great a few years ago.
Supremely disappointing. How can you ruin a diner?? The executive chefs picture is on the menu and all I could think about was how embarrassed I would be to attach my name and image to such poorly cooked food. Someone please introduce this chef to the concept of seasoning. My partner and I both ordered a classic eggs benedict. The eggs were fried over-easy instead of poached (which is what I would consider classic), the ham was sliced like deli meat, and the english muffin was not even toasted. They refused to let my partner substitute grits for home fries, not even offering for us to pay the difference, and the home fries were TERRIBLE. Literally just dry potato wedges they had put in the oven. Not a speck of salt, oil, or any seasoning. Like, LITERALLY just dry potatoes. Even the coffee was bad! I usually like bad diner coffee but this tasted burnt and was hard to drink even with cream and sugar. The worst part was getting the check... I dont mind splurging a little for a good breakfast with fresh, local ingredients, but to spend $50 on a breakfast this terrible was just insulting. The orange juice (best part of the meal, tasted like Tropicana or something else extremely average) was $5.50.Using local ingredients on a classic diner menu is not a bad gimmick, but you cant stop at getting good ingredients--you have to actually COOK the ingredients well, too.Save your money, go to a real diner.
Food is always amazing, Best burgers Ive ever had tbh. My favorite place to eat when I come to cherry hill!
I had a simple chicken nuggets for lunch. Crispy, not oily or overcooked, perfect. Dipping sauce was delicious and service was on point.
High quality food! A big surprise when you compare to standard diner food. This is classy, and tasty!
Was very disappointed with my visit today. For the quality of food, it was very overpriced. Waitress took forever to greet us, then rushed the rest of our dining experience. Would not eat here again.
This diner has managed to keep its retro atmosphere while modernizing the menu to include a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Other diners should take notes!
Prices can be a bit less, but food was excellent. Customer service was excellent. Very satisfied.
I feel like i traveled back in time coming here. The food was amazing! Great twists on diner classics and a ton of vegan options as well. I feel you could get anything off the menu and it will be made to perfection. The service here was great, our waiter was so friendly and outgoing!
Everyone including the owner were extremely friendly and helpful! They were on point with my food! The customer service was phenomenal and the wait is not long at all. Everything is delicious but my favorite is the buttermilk pancakes! I recommend and I will be back!
The food and service was great! The Oat Milk Blueberry Pancakes were deliciously different. The wait was rather long but that is because I got there around 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. By 1:30pm the crowd had died down.
Its been years since my last visit here. So, my most recent visit gave me a surprise when I realized how many vegan options they offer. I ended up trying beyond meat for the first time in tacos... OMG... it was awesome. Totally worth the visit. Expanded my view of what vegan options are out there.
In today’s world of the ever-changing diet and lifestyle, its challenging to find a place that can accommodate your gluten-free, keto, plant-based, and good old fashioned burger and fries friends. Look no further, The Silver Diner in Cherry Hill, NJ, can accommodate EVERYONE and leave you feeling full and satisfied no matter what your dietary needs.
Its important to know what youre getting into- if youre looking for greasy diner food, maybe try somewhere else. If youre looking for healthier, more ethical options, this place is pretty good. I was disappointed to find out it was a chain but the food was pretty good and the service was pretty good. Its not super cheap (ended up being $23 per person including tip), and service was pretty decent.
Weve always loved the atmosphere here. Joshua our waiter was wonderful. My husband didnt care for his meal this trip. Which is unusual.Well be going back again.
If you want a totally different dining experience regarding menu options....this is the place. The food is delicious.
Food was very good and they were quick to handle a large party. Its a bit pricer than your average diner but the food is also above average.
The food was okay but a little pricey for a diner. My biggest issue was that I felt rushed by our server. She came to the table before we were halfway done, asked if we wanted dessert and when we said no, she put our check on the table. Not a great experience.
This is *not* your typical Jersey diner. It has upscale food and service. Lots of vegan options, and a lot of the ingredients are locally sourced from farms. They even tell you which farm on the menu! Delicious food a good prices. It looks like a regular diner but when you see the menu and taste the food you will see that this is someplace special.
JUST OKAY! While this looks like a diner, the food way too fancy to be one which means it is more like an upscale restaurant. Note that this is a corporate chain of restaurants and is not a mom and pop run establishment. Just because it looks like a diner, doesnt mean it is.
The food is so Good Our Waitress was so kind Definitely will be back
The service was good but the food was not diner food. Small portions for more money. The bacon was hard with no grease like it was made in an air fryer. The kids mac and cheese came with a white sauce instead of what a child would want.
The worst place for dinner their chicken pot pie is not made in the oven and the chicken is out of a can . The manager says everyone complains about it but nothing gets done your entree comes out almost at the same time the soup and salad lol no wonder the food comes out cold. Its a not beware
What a fantastic find, I havent been here in many years. I was pleasantly surprised and excited to see their new menu offerings. Vegans, gluten free seekers and us plain regulars rejoice. The menu offerings had great variety and uses locally sourced and identified sources. Food was delicious from the avocado toast to the country scramble, corn and crabmeat chowder, the turkey platter all delicious. Service was great as well. We will definitely be back!!!
BEST SERVICE I’ve RECIEVED ! CHAROLOTTE , the manager , went above and beyond ! Our server Christian was very attentive , and personable ! CovidFriendly and the bathrooms super clean ! If I could give them 100000 stars I would!!! Thank you ! :)
My first time there, the food was great. Would definitely come back and bring family and friends.
This is the most awesome diner - it has locally sourced ingredients, some organic, plenty of vegan and vegetarian options-always delicious specials! Hibiscus lemonade, brussel sprout appetizer - amazing! We never miss visiting here when we are in this part of NJ! Meatloaf and pot pie special .... yummy!
Everything was AMAZING!!! Food was delicious and our server Jules was very sweet and on point. I really loved how healthy the food options are. I will definitely come back here.
Ive been to Silver Diner a few times and each experience is different - this most recent time, service was okay. The waitress was overwhelmed with the number of tables; the floors werent clean but I did point that out to the manager who took care of it; the bathroom was okay. Our food was subpar. Ive had better from Silver Diner...will probably return, just not anytime soon.
Classic feeling diner with original juke boxes and interesting menu. Staff as friendly as diners once were and should be. Oh, the food is the icing on the cake.
Seriously, i dont understand who writes those positive reviews? Table was not clean, bathrooms were DIRTY... still a pandemic going on... Small menu, very small portions for the money, highly overpriced for the diner. So unlike Jersey diner!!! Service was awful, side salads and soups did not made their way to our table at all. They did apologized, offered us to take our side salads to go... hmm... but, offered nothing else... Will not come back...
An Outstanding Diner located in Cherry Hill, it offers Farm Fresh food and a Variety of Food Choices! Clean & Friendly place to enjoy your meal! Every Tuesday there is Kids Night were they offer face painting and balloon modeling! ALSO Silver Diner OFFERS A MILITARY DISCOUNT w/ ID, LETS PATRONIZE THIS PATRIOTIC DINER!!! I SALUTE YOU SILVER DINER!!!
I really loved the attention of the young man who served us and the milkshakes we ordered were super tasty. I give it 2 Star because only one little thing I didnt like ........
Would have been fine if the prices were a bit lower. The quality just wasnt there for $45 for two people to eat breakfast.
