Great place. They do what they can for you, even telling you if some other place has what youre looking for in stock and they dontI was in there when William Lowder was there. He insisted the associate he was talking with was the one who sold him the door and told him the wrong size, Months earlier, but he was not even working there at the time. Once this was pointed out, William just said it was still wrong to not take the door back and he would write a letter to corporate. I guess he was too lazy to actually write the letter (just as he was with measuring his clearance door) and just wrote some half truth here.

Buyer BewareI had purchased a door from the Craigslist’s add that was labeled as a 32” exterior door with frame. It looked a bit small so I asked the associate who was helping me “are you sure that’s a 32” door?” He replied “yes.” So I took him at his word. When I went to install the door I measured and it was a 30” door. I later returned and simply asked if I could exchange the 30” for a 32” they also had posted on Craigslist. They refused the exchange saying all sales are final on Craigslist items. I feel they should make an exception because the door I wanted to exchange had been mislabeled and I wasn’t asking for my money back. I payed $70 for the mislabeled door and the one I wanted to exchange was only $50. I feel they should do right by the customer when they made this simple mistake. Evan, the associate I spoke to had a smug unapologetic attitude and I felt he frankly didn’t care whatsoever. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I plan on telling everyone I know what poor customer service 84 Lumber has.

Made a delivery great service

Very helpful and friendly staff, great selection, and better prices than other places we checked!

We contracted windows out for our house and we didnt know the contractor used 84 lumber for the windows. 5 weeks after the contractor put in the order they said it was going to be another month before the windows were supposed to be in. The day they were going to be shipped to the house, no one from 84 lumber called and no one was here. We came home to brand new windows laying down in our front lawn. Their customer service is horrible BUYERS GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
