I was really skeptical at first how a dealer can not charge any type of fee, theres got to be a catch, but to my disappointment there was no catch, and it was simple, easy, and fast. I have told one of the local dealer in FL that how inexpensive I am getting this bike and they laughed and said if I can get at this OTD price I should buy two of them because it is not possible. My son and I were in the middle of a cross country trip on the Trans America Trail (TAT) on our Honda motorcycles and my starter was acting up. We stopped in at Southern Honda and they took great care of us. Brian at the service desk was super friendly and helpful. We told him about our situation and he quickly got us into their shop to fix the bike. The technician, Chris, was an excellent mechanic and also a fellow adventure rider and worked hard to get us back on the road quickly.They also gave my son everything he needed to do an oil change on his motorcycle while we waited on my bike. We were back on the road in just a few hours. After going to a motorcycle dealership that was trying to rip me off by adding literally thousands of dollars worth of extra fees on to the price of the bike, this place was an absolute dream of a dealership.My dad and I rode our bikes two hours to get to Southern Honda but it was absolutely worth the two hour ride.We worked with Bill who is not only very personable but also a very good sales rep. He assured us that they will not add all of these extra fees on top of the price of the bike.We rode out of there that day with a brand new motorcycle that was sold to us at MSRP and not any higher.If you are looking for any kind of Honda, definitely do not overlook this place. Honda tells me to come here to warranty and repair, it was repaired and I still got charged a “diagnostic fee”.Now online rep I called again said don’t take it there you weren’t suppose to pay anything.Overall bad experience

So Southern Honda motorsports promises me 3x no add-on fees. The last time yesterday, when they said let me call you back. They DIDNT call back, I had to call them. 24 hours after Im yet again promised no add-on fees, Im told there is now a 500 dollar add-on fee. I respond that breaking PROMISES ruins trust and loyalty. The salesman,BILL actually hangs up on me no goodbye,NOTHING! I GUESS THERES A REASON SERVICE ISNT OPTION #1 ON THEIR SYSTEM. APPARENTLY BILL COULD GIVE 2 CRAPS ABOUT YOUR HONDA EXPIRENCE

Came here to buy a bike and Bill Spearman was the one to help. Everything was going great, I went to go finance and applied through their credit card but was not approved, which was not a huge deal. He asked if I wanted to apply with their bank, and I told him definitely not (with witnesses) and I left. He then called me less than an hour later to inform me that he went ahead and ran my credit and I got approved, if I wanted to come back and buy the bike. So now there’s an extra discrepancy on my report that I did not authorize. I thought this was completely unprofessional and totally lost my trust and respect. I took my business to Harley Davidson, and they did me right. I don’t recommend trusting this southern power sports.

We had a wonderful experience trading in our old bike and purchasing a new one. Gus was absolutely fantastic. He was super helpful and easy to work with. 10/10 recommend.

I had regular interval service and inner tube installed for a flat. Poor communication on problem with tire - told me it was worn not warped and will not balance correctly (as I saw on the invoice later). Tire only had 2k miles on it so I did not have them replace it. Bad wobble when riding, which tech wouldve noticed had he test rode. So I do have to get a new tire, but it wont be here.

Communication is great while they reel you in for the sale. After you sign the papers and take the vehicle off the lot, you’ll never get the salesman to call you back. Spending thousands on a machine and they can’t even follow up with a phone call regarding the machine. Not my cup of tea.

I would highly recommend Southern Honda Powersports to anyone who doesnt like to deal with hidden fees or the typical nonsense you get at other dealerships. The staff were all extremely friendly and many of them struck up conversations ranging from riding stories to technical information about my new machine. I will gladly make the 3 hour journey to this dealership if Im ever in the market again for another bike, which I will be. Probably the best dealer experience Ive had in my lifetime. Trid to purchase a new Honda from them. The price online is 4,599.00. I live in Georgia so there is no sales tax for Tennessee only Georgia if I register it unit. I get there and the price is 4,899.00. Not what is showed online. If thats the price of the bike why are you showing it cheaper online? Thats not all after everything under the sun could be tacked on it went up to 7,568.00. So the online price is not the right price so buyer beware.

I just purchased a 2020 Honda CBR500r ABS. I talked with RICK (Sales) on the phone and he helped set everything up. CALEB (Sales) made sure I knew everything about the bikes when I arrived. JORDAN (Finance) closed with offering options that were in my best interest--not just an add-on to make the dealership more money.To top it off, I forgot the Tie Down Straps to secure my New bike to the Trailer I was towing. KYLE (Manager) went out of his way to find some for me and gave them to me for Free. Then they stayed AFTER CLOSING, and CALEB (Sales) even helped me Tie the bike down to the trailer properly!I love my Bike, The Price (with NO added FEES) and most importantly, the Customer Service of this dealership! What a joke.Rude staff go to get a price on a set of tires one of the parts people said they did not know how to do that and that they have only worked there a year .then once you finally get a price on the tires you have to go to service to get a price on mounting them. LIKE I SAID WHAT A JOKE. Every dealer that I have ever dealt with one person could tell what you need to know and every dealer I have been to if you buy the tires from them they mount them for free pretty sad I can have a set of tires and have the brakes serviced and have bike washed at Harley Davidson than the cost of two of the same brand tires a this place. SHP ... you suck!! My money will spend elsewhere!!

Brand new CRF450 was experiencing idle issue since purchase. The first time I dropped it off was kept for almost two weeks, when I called to check they said they were waiting to hear directly from Honda. I had a trip planned so picked the bike up without the issue being resolved. The second time I dropped it off it once again took over a week, this time they called me and told me it was ready. They had changed a spark plug and cleaned the fuel injector, simple job I could have done myself and now I wish I would have. When I arrived to pickup the bike I signed the paperwork and they said they’d bring it right out. I sat in my truck for 20 minutes before going back inside to see what the hold up was. I was informed the plastics had not been reinstalled and the tech that had worked on it was now on vacation. I sat for another hour as I witnessed what appeared to be them redoing the work they said was complete and test driving it again before finally bringing the bike out for me to load by myself. They wasted my time and seemed to have no idea what was going on. Unimpressed and deeply frustrated as this is a brand new motorcycle that has already spent almost three weeks back at the dealership. 👎🏼

Purchased a 2002 goldwing trike Salesman Gus was professional, everything went smooth. The only problem I have with any Honda bike dealer is : if you have any thing over 10 years they don’t stock parts for it , every thing has to be ordered and usually is at least twice or more times higher than ordering from E-bay.

Bought a new CRF110F yesterday. Very helpful, and nice people to deal with. Took a little while to process everything, but it was time well spent.

I dropped my four wheeler off on April 3, 2021. When I dropped it off I was told they were a week and a half behind. I picked it up May 17,2021 still incomplete. Through the entire process I was unaware and not informed of set backs or problems. They were completely unprofessional and parts that were repaired were tightened down with the wrong screws. They charged me 1247.00 to basically house my four wheeler for two months. I will never use Southern Honda Powersports again.

Just wanted to thanks the fine folks at Southern Honda Powersports for the great job they did helping me out on my service on my Goldwing.I had made an appointment for a Wednesday morning to have an air filter replacement ( which is a job) on a goldwing, and an oil change. I am from Mississippi and was traveling. I had an appointment in Atlanta on Tuesday that finished sooner than anticipated. The weather turned bad so I went ahead and headed to Chattanooga. I stopped in before checking in a hotel on the slim chance that that they could help me out. They not only helped me out by completing the service, but they did it in over a hour earlier than I had been told on the phone!Great job, and friendly folks, I highly recommend!

Bought a Honda ranger 700 from a private individual, who purchased this unit from Sountern Honda. The unit had 36 hours and The wench had never been installed. So I took it southern honda for oil change and wench install. I received a call on Thursday that the unit was ready I live 45 minutes away. So i Went to pick up on Friday while there the service department said they had not touched the unit yet. Charged $400 to install the a wench that was purchased by the original buyer. Ordered fender flares they never ordered. I’ll not be back!

I live 3 hours from the shop and rode in sub freezing temperatures to purchase from Caleb. Easiest place to have conversations with and no nonsense approach. 100% worth the ride and ended up spending about $1000 less than my local Honda shop.

Yes , my ATV was there for 3 months , but considering the circumstances with warranty folks and a complete engine rebuild, I couldnt be more pleased. I have a 2004 Honda Foreman. The parts department was fast and courteous. Prices reasonable. No pressure salesman. Receptionist was a greater. Very Respectful.

Worst customer service Ive ever had at a dealership. Bought my atv new. Tried calling to set up an appointment to get my first oil change was left on his and shuffled around between people, for about 45 minutes. Hung up and called again two hours later, same thing. I tried calling the next day and was left on hold for over an hour. Then going in person to schedule one was just as bad. Everyone is on their phones not paying attention to you, especially the parts and service. I sold at the parts desk for a while and wasnt helped so I left and ended up taking it to Eds cycles in Cleveland. They changed it within an hour checked everything and even loaded it back on my truck for me. The people at his only care about selling their vehicles and nothing else.

Amazing dealership (5 star)- Anthony (parts and service), Tami (parts), Gus (sales), Joel (Mechanic), did a collaborated condensed major service on my bike. There were some others that I did not get a name for. I live South of Atlanta, they ordered the parts and set me up for an appointment to do the work. It was a major rebuild on the steering column of a ST1300, oil change and install on Denali lights to show me the way in darkness. I felt like royalty as they were very customer service oriented (salute to the leadership). Darned ole Gus almost sold me a Goldwing, he certainly knew the bike and allowed me to get familiar with it. I fear a purchase in the future! Folks, this dealer and these employees took tremendous care of me- take note------ 5 STARS!!!!! PLUS

It seems to be hard to buy a motorcycle. You shouldnt have to work at it. Many dealers act like they dont care whether you buy a bike or not. NOT SO at SHP in Chattanooga Tn. I live 200 miles away and Mark A. called me back within minutes each time he said he would as we worked out the details by phone. Everyone there was very nice and professional and took good care of me. I highly recommend them. Did I mention it was the BEST PRICE anywhere and there are never any annoying FEES! Great folks!

I live in Marietta Georgia and was looking for an ATV for use at the deer camp. I went to a local store and they wanted way to much for a Honda Rancher. A buddy said, Check out Southern Honda Powersports, they have good deals. I called and talked to Anthony Weaver in sales and he couldnt have been more helpful. He took time to talk to me to figure out what I needed and what options they had available. I finally chose the Honda Rancher ES. Anthony had a machine pulled and the guys installed a winch before I got up to the store. Ray in the finance office was extremely helpful and personable. Everyone that works there is top notch. Their prices are way better than anywhere else around. If your looking for an ATV I wouldnt go anywhere else but straight to Southern Honda Powersports.

3 service writers and a service manager yet no one ever answers the phone? Never once had Honda of Chattanooga service dept not answer the phone in 20 years with one service writer.

Way below normal on this last visit. Took more than a week to change a front tire. When they removed the front fender they snapped the wires going to an eagle on the fender and did not correct. The performed a recall for the rear brake and reattached the brake peddle so high that I cannot even get my foot between it and the engine. More repairs for me after paying for professional service.
