Costco is one of my favorite places to shop, especially for kids clothing on clearance. I pick up items year round and hold them for birthdays and the holidays. Ive used Costco to outfit both nieces and my nephew for the last few years. Additionally, gas prices are usually the cheapest in town, they have a good pizza price if you are looking to pick up a quick dinner, and they carry several local products (e.g. great local beer selection).This location has a tire center and pharmacy too. Ive bought tires for vehicles in the past because they were cheaper than other shops in the area. They also honor their tire services and warranty.

We love Costco. Samples are coming back and at Thanksgiving we buy food there to help feed needy families in Augusta county and help cloth local children if funding allows. The staff is always helpful, I won’t lie if anyone knows someone who could help us out we need to buy 100 pumpkin pies this year for needy families and purchase probably close to 3k worth of winter clothing and another 2 to 3k of food. Donations would be awesome or even a coupon or 2. This is a wonderful, worth the membership.

Im a seafood dieter... I see food, I eat food. Costco surprised me years ago when I was on an extended trip out of town. The amount of stuff (packaged, ready-to-eat, raw), had me like an out-of-towner in the big city!I shop to get my monthly grocery list done. The workers are courteous, thoughtful... the checkouts are efficient, considering the volume of customers.I recommend Costco, especially this store!

Great customer service experience in the audiology dept. Justin and Susan were amazing.Highly recommend!I will say the manager is a jerk. Went in today with a malfunctioning hearing aid. Was told I was hard of hearing wich was the problem. Wont go back if he is working.

Lots of items to chose from, almost too much for a quick visit. The employee we talked to in order to get our permanent card was very professional and helpful. Will be back again for sure.

I have been to this Costco on numerous occasions. Never once have I seen anyone in front or behind me being asked to show their Costco card in order to get in. As I am walking in at 2pm from getting a shopping cart the man stops myself and other black people to ask if we have our card… never once did he ask the white people walking directly in front of us if they had a card. Card shown.. we walk inside and stand for 10 minutes seeing if he asks anyone else. Nope … none of the WHITE customers were asked if they were members.. if they’re going to ask people to show proof of a membership they need to ask EVERYONE not just BLACK people. On a positive note the man working the self checkout area was very nice and friendly (they need to hire more people like that!)

People here in Charlottesville are rude when they come into this store. The employees here are good. But the people here in this town act like its the only store in town. Like anywhere else need more help.

Amazing store. I love their clothing food court food! I love everything about Costcos.

Costco trips are some of my favorite errands! Between the food samples and the enticing OLED TV displays, Im like a kid in a candy store. There can sometimes be long lines at this location when checking out, but the staff works efficiently and it moves quickly. And dont forget to get your $1.50 hot dog and fountain drink when youre there.

Good if you know prices. Meats, fresh produce are high compared to most major grocery stores, Food lion, Kroger,,,,97.9 use for fuel at the pump.

Just got self checkout, which I appreciate since it makes it super quick! Love that its not as crazy as the ones in Northern Virginia. A little smaller than Im used to, but still overall good!

Love the store but there is no WiFi too connect to. How can I use my in the store if they don’t have WiFi to connect to?????? When they get WiFi for customers then I’ll give them a 5 stars⭐️

Always friendly and helpful associates. We find everything we need and often too much more! We love the little Costco cafe as we call it. The pizza slices are huge, and we can both eat 2 slices and a soda for $4.99. Cant beat it! Large parking lot to help get in an out easy. We also love the discount gas!

The parking is very confusing and inconvenient. Tryin to get to the store is the most complicated. And the set-up inside is isnt what Im use to the one in Harrisonburg. But anyways. Thats natural.

Went shopping with my little girl when we went to check out I was told I could not shop there cause I wasnt a member and how did I get in. I never been into Costco nor Sams club etc. So was unaware but really how did I get in there well I walked through the front door supposedly they werent supposed to let me in with out showing a members card. So I walk around the whole store getting a few outfits for my 5 year old, food and cleaning supplies and after all that Im not allowed to buy it which really upset my little girl she really wanted the Easter dress but all because I wasnt a member and they failed to inform me at the door. Why not just allow me to pay for what we had already shopped for since it was their mistake for letting me in and I wouldnt come back anymore.

Everyone was so friendly that I came in contact with and they are always willing to help and give opinions on products.

Lots of variety and cost effective. Especially clothing items.

It’s everything! Great electronic deals, name brand clothes deals. Restrooms were clean! I was finally able to buy a hearing aid, they were great! Their hearing aid batteries are the best. They last, I’ve already tried several.

The customer service here is honestly garbage and so are the companies polices. I’d be great to know before I go shopping that I can’t use my girlfriend card, no we’re not married. But we do live together. With an ID to match it. We’re in the same household. But that’s not good enough I’m “not a member” maybe they should explain that while your signing up. Or don’t. Useless.

This Costco is fortunately located on the outskirts of town, otherwise youd be stuck trying to navigate roads built by people on crack. This is easy to get in and out of, not too crowded like the Richmond Costco. Their tire center is great, super helpful folks. Always hit the gas for low-priced gas before doing your shopping. Great seafood variety, bread and baked goods are always well-stocked. And always a great deal for a hotdog and soda.

I work nearby and get lunch here at least once a week! Between the delicious samples to the unbeatable prices, there’s not a better place to stop! Make sure to check the sale ad before you go so you don’t miss any of the numerous deals!

Our check out person Julz V. Actually quite rude. We loaded all on to the belt as we do everytime, as she went to the end of the belt and told us the PROPER way to do it was leave the big things in the cart, as she puts 5 things back in the cart even before ringing them up or pulling the cart down to the register. The biggest thing I had was a fire extinguisher. Put a sign up if you want us to leave things in the cart we are not mind readers, do not be so RUDE or have an ATTITUDE. Highly disappointed Costco.

Costcos supply chain is full of animal cruelty! I wont shop there until they address these issues.

Bought an item because it was on sale and the discount was not applied. They sent someone to check the price and they said it was not on sale. We went back and checked the price ourselves and the sale tag had been removed. I know it had been reviewed because I doubled check the item number on the sale tag and would not have bought it had it not been on sale. The fact that they would remove a sale tag during peak business hours is ridiculous.

Our first time at Costco. The sign in was a breeze. The store and bathrooms were clean. The prices seemed good.

I went to buy a mattress, I have been a loyal customer for nearly 2 decades. They changed away from american express and I struggled to stay but remained loyal for those few things I couldnt get other places. After today, I will never shop with Costco again. Goodbye kirkland brand goodies, I will have to focus on the replacements at the new places I have found this year while I havent been able to practice in freedom and shop with Costco, todays experience finalized the idea costco is not a place americans need to shop, I havent seen such fear mongering in months. :( #nomorefear

I am very unhappy with their Covid19 overkill. Do not go there near as often as before. Their policy is ridiculous

The only bad thing about costco is it opens so late in the morning unless your a senior citizen. Eight a.m. would be a great time for opening.

I have always been a fan of Costco and have been to Costcos in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and northern Virginia. The Cville costco is pretty great. Usually not crowded; well organized; amazing gas prices; and during the time of Covid, strict social distancing and mask enforcements. I was also pleasantly surprised to see ethnic food items like Rapokki (korean ramen + rice cake with spicy sauce) on the shelves.

Workers are always so nice and helpful. Store is always so nice and clean

This is probably one of the cleanest and most helpful Costcos Ive ever been in. All staff is knowledgeable about what and where they stock. The optical department is amazing and has all name brand frames with lenses for a fraction of the cost of any other optician. Highly recommend becoming a member of Costco.

I adore Costco. Costumer care is awesome. Everything is clean. They pay their employees a decent wage and give them benefits and holidays off. The products are fantastic. (Things you MUST try: Kirkland smoked, salted almonds, fresh roasted whole chicken, seaweed snacks, mini veggie frittatas, Caesar salad kit). Checkout is super fast. The isles are wide and they carry Mexican Coke Cola!! And everyone was wearing a mask! Whats not to love?

Beginning of the week, after lunch, the lines were short. Everything appeared to be stocked and staff was friendly. Found more than we needed and left pleased.

Costco is a great store but closing at 6pm on a Saturday is ridiculous.

When I was there at checkout the cashier Jim C had a very nasty attitude and really soured the visit to Costco. I had never had a problem with any Costco until now. He was very condescending and rude. Really bad customer service.
