My Segway tour was so fun. Before you go on the tour, they take you step by step on how to ride one. Our guide was Joshua and he was great. Not only did he talk about Charlottes history, he also gave us other points of interest to check out and local places to grab a bite to eat.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour Rod gave us. I thought it was money well-spent as the information imparted was very interesting and gave me a new appreciation of the Charlotte area and its place in our history and how it currently fits into the world now. Highly recommend for anyone who is at all interested in Charlotte and wants to know more about it.

Segway Tour through Charlotte with Rod was a ton of fun and very informative. It was the best combination of history and fun. Been in Charlotte almost a decade and learned more that day than my entire time here. Highly recommend for residents and visitors if the Queen City.This was part of our wedding anniversary activities and Rod definitely made it a memorable one.

My group of three had a great time during the tour! Good tour guide was very friendly and knew a lot about the area. Training was very good for learning how to ride a segway. We even got excellent help when trying to locate the building to meet at!

Wonderful way to kill few hours during flight layover :) Nothing was open due to Covid, but since this is outdoor activity, we got lucky and saw the heart of Charlotte :) Rod was great and very welcoming :) He was very attentive to us and we had amazing tour of city! Highly recommend :) Great people!

Fun tour. They were just getting back from COVID shutdown. Streets were not very busy yet making it easy to get around. Helped get a perspective on the uptown area.

Why would anyone walk when they can segway?! Rod was an amazing tour guide. My fiance and I had a long layover and decided to try the segway tour; neither one of us had ever ridden a segway. Rod differentiated his teaching of how to ride a segway, which was nice because I was terrified, and he made me feel relaxed. In no time we were riding through Charlotte and learning about the beautiful city. Rod was friendly, knowledgeable, and cautious which made this adventure worthwhile. Whether you live in the city or not, you should really check this place out!

My brother, sister-in-law, and I had the pleasure of doing this tour today and we had so much fun.First I will say that the segway itself was, at first, a little intimidating but it hardly took any practice to get the hang of it. I was the only one in the group that had never ridden one before and the instructional video and short training session was all I needed to get going. Segways are really fun!Our tour guide was Rod and his knowledge of Charlotte and North Carolina was impressive and you could tell that he is very proud of the citys history. This is a very fun way to see some of the hidden gems of Uptown Charlotte and Rod led us safely through many of them. There were several opportunities to stop and take photos so be sure to bring your phones or cameras but just know you cannot use them while you are on the segway.Also, be sure to wear a comfortable pair of shoes. Although you arent walking you are standing and using your feet to operate the segway.Thanks for an awesome and interesting afternoon!

Rod & Joshua were very professional. I was almost immediately comfortable riding the Segway. My daughter and I now have more great memories. Wonderful time!

Great TimeRod our tour guide was lots of fun and full of info on Charlotte. Great way to see Charlotte and the old part of Charlotte. We think you need to go on the 1 1/2 hours tour to get the most of the tour.

There were 4 of us on this tour. Rod the tour leader and Paul were great tour guides and made sure we were comfortable/safe before starting on the Segway Tour. They were very knowledgable, informative and fun to tour with. The time went by so fast and we learned a lot on this segway tour about Charlotte NC. We highly suggest this tour.

I had family in town and decided to use the Segway tour to show uptown. this was a great and fun idea. Our tour guide was James and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and asked about our interest so he could base the tour towards those.

Today was amazing! Had the chance to tour the city with Rod and he was super helpful and informative. We took the tour of the city and hit all the historic landmarks. We didn’t know all the history of the city but our tour guide showed us the downtown area as well as mini parks and communities in Charlotte. Thanks so much for a wonderful day!

Weve lived in Charlotte for a bit, but thought this was great opportunity to explore our city more. We had Rod as guide who was amazing--I think he knows everything about (and everyone in) Charlotte. Spent tons of time teaching us to ride Segway comfortably and really going into interesting, local detail about Charlotte. I expected this to be fun, but it was even better than expected!

Did the 2-hr tour with our guide Davis. Fun way to see lots of Charlotte. Recommend you bring water - first hour it got pretty hot. Latter part was overcast with nice breeze. Beautiful city with lots to offer.

This was our first Segway tour and we had a blast! Rod was so helpful in teaching how to use the Segway. We have lived in Charlotte for years but still learned a lot about our city. Rod is fun and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!

ON 7/5/15 our tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable about the area from past and present.... there was so much history in the city.. my wife and I loved it...I think everyone who come to Charlotte should take the tour..THANK YOU GUYS !!good job..

Our tour felt rushed with our tour advisor wanting us to go faster as we were running behind. I dont fault the tour company exactly as all groups were to show up a half an hour before the tour but some showed up late and we lost roughly 20 minutes before we started the Segway tutorial. Still, this affected the quality of the tour.

We had a great trip with our group of 13. Appreciated the recommendations, knowledge and experience. We will use Charlotte Segway Tours again next time for sure!

First time in charlotte, visiting with my brother. We decided to book the Segway tour. Our troupe guide was Rod, he great and very knowledgeable, shared awesome information and really got you comfortable with the Segways where you felt like a pro!! I would totally recommend this tour and especially with Rod. You will not be disappointed!!!

Great fun! We had a team event and went on a great ride around town. The guides are extremely nice and knowledgeable who tailored the tour based on our wants: more site seeing/riding the segways than history as we are all from Charlotte.

My husband, daughter and I did the segway tour with Tye. He was very specific in instructing us as this was our first segway ride. He made us feel comfortable. We saw some are and beautiful areas of the city. We had a great time. The tour was fun and insightful.

We did the hour fun ride and Rod was our tour guide. He was amazing. And it wasnt as hard as we thought.

What a fun experience and so easy to handle. Its the perfect way to explore the city. Many Tanks to my guide Tremane. Hes got a pretty good Knowledge about the City and its History.

No water. Poor sightseeing. I wasnt able to understand a word. Its cheaper to rent scooter.

Not a good experience when the guide is rude and basically bullies pedestrians out the way when going through uptown and 4th ward. I dont wanna be the one pushing a person in their dog into the street cause I want to ride on the sidewalk with the segway.Thats what happens. Customer service is extinct because if you call the number you never get anyone on the phone. They have one number for multiple cities. Charlotte segway tours team needs to have better communication with the community so they dont irritate the Uptown and 4th Ward community by doing this. Terrible experience You are better off renting a lime bird or spin scooter.

What a fun way to see Charolette! It took my wife and I about 5 minutes to feel completely comfortable operating the segways and off we went! Our tour guide Rod was great. He really knows Charolette and gave us a bunch of great ideas for dinners. Go and have fun!!

The worst. Dont answer their phone. And dont respond to emails in a timely manner. Almost impossible to get hold of.

First time in Charlotte and did the segway tour with Tye as my guide!Small group with a total of 6 people drove around for about 1,5 hours.Alot of fun and i would definitely recommend this if its your first time visiting and would like to know a little history and explore the town on a segway!It was my first time as well on a segway, but that was not an issue. A short training before the tour starts and your good to go!

This was a fantastic tour. Tremaine was patient, knowledgeable, fun guide and showed a genuine passion for his city that cant be faked. He gave us a great historical tour of the city filled with 100s of facts he reeled off with no cheat sheets. He took photos for us, answered questions and seem to really enjoy himself.Hes obviously a popular guy as everywhere we went someone was yelling out to him, high fiving him, shaking his hand or asking him a question.The Segways may look a little daunting but they soon become 2nd nature and you enjoy a tour outdoors without trapsing all over the place and getting sore feet.The lady at the meeting place was also very helpful and despite us running a few minutes late made us feel at ease.All in all a 10/10 tour and I would encourage anyone, local or tourist, to do this jump on board.
