Hired Shawn to replace fiberglass shower stall with tile. Never showed up on time. Took 2 weeks to do a job he said would take 5 days max. Tile is broken and cracking, shower shelves fell off, faucet handle fell off, edges not finished, primer all over the newly refinished floor, huge mess outside: glass tile pieces in the grass, primer puddles and mounds of drywall mud in the driveway, and now he won’t return my calls. Beware of this scammer.

My master bathroom only had a large walk-in shower and I wanted a tub shower combination.I saw reviews on tv and through the mail about Carolina Home Remodeling. I was very impressed and called and made an appointment to talk with a Sales person to see if my shower area would be big enough for a soaking tub/shower and new walls.The sales person , Craig Cochran, came and showed me many styles and colors to pick from. He was amazing at helping me understand everything that would need to be done and helped me with the style and colors. An absolutely wonderful person!!When the materials came in I was set up a day and time for the workers to do ‘magic’ in that bathroom!!The workers were amazing, respectful, thorough, did beautiful work and cleaned up after they finished the job. Carolina Home Remodeling came in and installed a new shower wall unit and fixtures for our master bath. The installers were great. They worked so hard and didn’t leave till it was finished and clean. The price seemed a little high at first but as we did more research, we found that they gave us a fair deal and it is better than I imagined.

My shower/tub replacement has not been completed yet but, my presentation appointment with Jeffrey Goff was awesome! I consider myself to be a very cautious consumer. Jeffrey was professional, yet personable and he answered all of my questions without any signs of discouragement. Jeffrey Goff for Window installation.Mr. Goff was incredibly polite, informative and most importantly not pushy. My husband and I are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. First they use all subcontractors, which is not what the salesman said. Their cost is not worth the finished product at all. We never heard from anyone for 2 months about an install date so I had to reach out. Our bathroom is left incomplete with no idea when itll be done. No one will answer phones or give us answers. One contractor charged us more money (made us write him a check) while he was here or else he wouldnt do the job. Shower, faucet, shower heads are not even siliconed at all and pulls right away from the wall, no shower doors have been installed, and dont know when they will be installed over a week later. First contractor came into my office while I was in a meeting demanding I sign his papers so hed get paid. I had no idea what I was looking at or looking for in reviewing the completeness of his work, and he wouldnt wait for my husband to review his work. So, so unprofessional.

Replaced tub and shower in guest bathroom.They did an exceptional job,we couldnt be more pleased with their work!

They took out my old shower and tub and put in a beautiful big double shower. It looks incredible. My only problem was the timeline. I had my initial consultation at the end of Jan and my project was not completed until 1st week of May. I knew it would take several weeks to order everything since it was a special order size, but when items were finally ready, it was installed I pieces. Took two days to do demo and install, but not including doors. The next day the glass door guy called to set up appointment for measuring. He came and measured. Then I didnt hear from anyone for a couple weeks. Then he came back and installed the frame (still no glass.) Weeks later the glass was finally ready. This is not how it was explained to me in the beginning. So just prepared for delays.The subcontractors were all very nice and professional. They were really attentive when I needed something. There was a leak from the pipes that showed up on the ceiling downstairs. The guy came back immediately to check it out. He found the problem and fixed it right away. Then the process to get the ceiling patched took several more trips. But its great now... you cant even tell there was a problem.

We got 21 windows from Carolina Home Remodeling. We have not had them long enough to reap the benefits of lowered electric bills, but they look fantastic and the process was easy. The salesperson was nice, and I have nothing but good things to say about the installers. The foreman was personable, kept me apprised of the process, and they did nice work. The company warned us they do not do painting but I am pleasantly surprised by how little touch up I will need to do even on the sills. The installers also took all the trash including the old windows with them and left no more mess that a wipe down of a sill or a light vacuum would cure. Very pleased.

We were very impressed by the professionalism shown by John Diekmann, the consultant that helped us. We had lots of questions and a tight budget, and he was still able to help us figure out a beautiful new shower.

He was very personable, knowledgeable and explained all my options in detail which enabled me to make the right decisions regarding the customizing of a new shower to be installed in my master bathroom. Ladies, please note the first photo that shows the grab bar that is about seventeen inches from the bottom - it makes shaving your legs easier and safer. Jose, the lead installer suggested this idea and I chose the grab bar as opposed to the footrest - no regrets.Soon after I signed the contract, I received a call from Norm who arranged the installation and told me exactly what to expect and when. Norm is a pleasure to speak with and great at communicating and overall follow-up. The installers, Jose and Steven were professional, really know their craft, and take pride in their work. Kevin also did a nice job at replacing the siding on the exterior where the window was replaced.Originally, my master bathroom consisted of a small fiberglass stall shower which was brutal to clean and a garden tub which I never used. Carolina Home Remodeling customized my bathroom by removing the stall shower and turning that space into a ready-to-paint closet and removing the garden tub and installing in its place, a custom acrylic shower of my dreams! In addition, the large, clear window that was next to the tub was replaced with a frosted window that still lets in a lot of light. I was very impressed with the quality of the product and the total installation, especially the window. No sloppy workmanship here.I appreciate and insist upon quality workmanship and that is exactly what you will get from Carolina Home Remodeling. At the moment, I do not anticipate the need for any other major remodeling projects. However, should the need arise, Carolina Home Remodeling will be hearing from me.

Hello:We had our downstairs bath room tube/shower removed and a walk-in shower installed. Henry, the installer, removed the old cast tube and shower, stripped the walls to the studs and inspected the underlaying floor. He then installed extra support wood for the two new grab bars, put up the cement board and the covering that we had chosen. It was a two day job and he was very professional and answered all our question and gave some great advice on the height and location of one of the grab bars. Cleanup was very good with only some minor dusting of door jams and a light fixture.I would hope that all home repair or installs would go this well.David @ Carol Siggins

I had a walk-in shower installed by Emilio and his daughter. They did a fabulous job. Arrived on time, used drop cloths to cover the floors and all the fixtures in the bathroom and cleaned everything up when the job was finished. The work that was done was excellent and I am very pleased with my new shower!

The two man crew did very well together completing the work. One could tell they both had done many of the tub to shower conversion.

Yesterday I contacted Carolina Home Remodeling company about a master bath remodel. I am legally separated, own my home, which is in my name only, and I make all decisions concerning my property. The gentleman on the phone refused to set an appointment without my husband present. I explained the situation again and he still insisted he could not help me without my husband present. Are you serious? What century do we live in that a woman cannot hire a contractor for renovations on her own home. I just want to pass this along to the powers that be what a misogynist mentality your sales staff have succumbed to .

I had Daniel Cox over to quote my master bathroom to have a new shower installed as the bathroom is not user friendly. Daniel was professional from the first moment. He explained in great detail of the process and costs involved. The fact you had samples to see and touch was a great asset. We had gutters installed in February 2016. One of the things we liked best was if the gutters ever needed to be cleaned out, we call and they send someone. We used them about a year after installation was completed. Recently we called to have them come back out again to clean out our gutters. Due to the amount of rain we had in June and July 2020, some debris found its way in under the guard. First call was a month ago, well get someone out there as soon as we can. Second call was 10 days later, same response. Were tired of waiting. Seriously thinking of hiring someone else to clean out our gutters and taking Carolina Home Remodeling to court to recover payment to someone else and violation of continued service contract. We will not be using them for our replacement windows or any other services. Installation was great, continued service is terrible.

On July 26,202 we spoke to Jon Christie from Carolina Home Remodeling about a bathroom project we were considering. Jon came to our home and completely explained to us every aspect of this project. Jon showed us various pictures and samples of their products. Furthermore, .Jon wore his PPE mask and Booties. We chose Carolina Home Remodelingbecause of their professional experience and guidance. With his knowledge we made our decision to contract this project to them and we are very happy with that decision.

Requested a quote for two exterior doors. Salesman arrived on time for the appointment and everything went smoothly up to that point, but from the beginning of the appointment he began hedging on and trying to justify the insane price quote that would eventually ensue. My wife & I were looking for simple door replacements (3/4 lite front door with clear glass and a simple back door with a storm door), but every time we mentioned what we were looking for, he’d mention how that was going to VERY expensive, so we always went with the most basic option available. He continued into his sales pitch for over 80 minutes before he would give us the quote, which was $17k (!!!) for two exterior doors installed that we didn’t even like (refer to discussion above about how we chose all the most basic options). He countered and said if we committed that day and paid cash, he could bring the price down to $11k. When I politely declined and said I’d need some time to think on it, he continued to push and even said he could step out and let my wife and I discuss in private and seemed puzzled as to why we weren’t committing on the spot. The same style of doors we were looking for cost ~$2k total at Lowe’s/Home Depot. I understand there are quality differences between the doors + installation costs, but this quote was absolutely insane and so out of touch. This experience was a complete waste of 90 minutes of my time.

Had an appointment scheduled for windows and siding quote. This company was recommended by a friend who had them do their windows. I received a confirmation call from Jason - when asked if my husband would be available I told them most likely but sometimes he gets called back to work. He then told me well then you won’t get an estimate. I explained he had done the appointment with my friends with only one spouse available and they got the business he didn’t care- guess they have lots of 50k jobs to give up- Jason you’re a clown!

I had an appointment with Alps on remolding my bathroom and he was awesome. He was very professional and courteous and very thorough and detailed. Jarreth came out to our home to help with our roof. Our roof was leaking pretty bad the warranty and and the quality that they put into protecting your roof is top notch. I was originally trying to get it covered by insurance but found out that they were barely going to cover anything. He made it affordable to us so didn’t have to worry about affording the roof since didn’t get much from insurance company!

Finally pulled the trigger and had Carolina home remodeling come out and give me a price on a couple projects. Price is high but with lifetime warranty you get the price appraised into your home for the future. Our sales person was Clifton Caudle and was very informative on all things and helpful with making a decision on our new sliding glass door project. Excited to see the finished job!

Marc gives a convincing presentation to why these windows will be perfect for our planned improvements. I also like the door he recommended. Marc as a Design Consultant is great and I will certainly give a review of the implementation upon completion.
