I LOVE the south park LensCrafters! Julia helped us initially and was PHENOMENAL! She was patient with us while we asked lots of questions and she went above and beyond to do some mock-ups for us. Last week I worked with Holly at LensCrafters in Southpark, and her service was just fabulous! I didnt have my mom with me, so it was harder picking out glasses by myself not knowing which ones looked best on me. Holly was so helpful and spotted which ones I would like/look good in right away. She was so patient with me as I called my mom over Facetime too, and she was very efficient pulling up the pricing differences so that I could compare all my options. To start- this location is doing very well adapting to COVID protocols. Store admittance is limited, and once in you are given a sanitized tray to place all the frames that youve touched and tried on. Theyre then sanitized after your visit, and placed back on the shelf- so I felt good about that process!The issue arose with the up-selling service I received. Trying to use a few last minute insurance benefits, I came in with the intent to swap out my current lenses for a new set with the blue light filter. I was quoted a pretty high number, so decided to just get a whole new frame/lens set. I have a very easy prescription and just use glasses for the computer, so I informed the salesperson that I was looking for the absolute cheapest option. I left the store quoted one price, and when I called later to process payment, was told the actual charge was more than Id been quoted (which I already felt was a little high to start)... The rep on the phone was very helpful, and as we pared back premium options that were on the prescription, informed me that there was a significantly cheaper lens option. This option is one I repeatedly asked about in-store, but was assured by the salesperson that what I was being quoted represented the absolute bottom number.Had I dealt with the helpful associate I spoke with on the phone when I was at this location, I likely wouldve only replaced my lenses, as he assured me it couldve been done for 1/3 of the price I was quoted by his colleague. It wouldve been a positive experience, and Id have nothing negative to note. I chose to go into the store to support retail.. I enjoy getting to try things on, and do understand that sometimes in-person costs are a bit higher than online. However after this experience, I wont support retail locations for LensCrafters in the future, and will likely opt for online purchases instead.

It goes without saying that the last time I ordered glasses was a different experience. The pandemic has changed the landscape of choosing glasses and I need to adjust.That said, I did have a couple of thoughts:The last time I ordered glasses, a different retail chain needed a prescription from an eye doctor, my phone number, and payment. My question to the corporate leaders is: Is it critical to capture my personal data upon entering or can that wait until purchase?The associates are under tremendous pressure to watch everyone. The other question is: can the store take my temperature and hand me a pair of gloves to wear to alleviate some of that tension?Thanks to the staff who did help me. It’s a challenge to keep everyone safe and stay in business. I appreciated their efforts.

Optometrist was good. Explained my vision elaborately. Results done on same day within an hour. You can choose to get the glasses or not from the LensCrafters if you like their frames. They support wide insurances.

Stopped in to see if I could have my current lenses placed in frames NOT purchased at this store. They were beyond helpful and fit the too big lenses in the glasses. It was 45 minutes worth of work and they kept me updated every step of the way. When I came back to get my glasses they had done the work and didnt charge me. This store will be the place I come to when I replace my glasses in 4 months. I am beyond impressed and will spread the word!! Thank you so much

They are usually pretty good. One piece of advice that I will give you. They have a system where they text you when your glasses are ready. This year I got two pair at the same time. So they told me to wait till after I get the 2nd text before I come back to pick them up. I get both text so I go in to pick them up and and only 1 pair is there. So to prevent this from happening to you make sure that you call and double check to make sure they have everything. After that mishap with the glasses I got another text that in fact they were finally in (2nd pair of glasses) so I called to make sure and they had me on hold for 20 mins. Needless to say I was hot about that. Their usually on point but I just wanted to give you that tip.

ALL! Of the staff is amazing, Mrs. Laurie takes the time to listen to your need and the offer the best suggestions for you, but all of the staff is so helpful, Caroline and Alan mangers the store very well. Always up to date selection in frames. The one Con I have is: I wish they would offer better deals on lens, which is the most important part of glasses.

Visited July 25, 2020 and was extremely impressed by the staff’s friendly attitude and professionalism. My glasses were ready in under an hour! I’m on my third pair of Oakley’s from this location and will definitely return next time. They’re taking extra steps to ensure customer safety.
