Very friendly staff! I came across this shop on a whim looking for some thrift shop alternatives to my norm…with positive results. There is a ton of variety - furniture, vintage clothing, decor, books, collectibles, etc. Good prices too!

If you dont mind the traffic on that side of town its but a bad place to browse...they have a little bit of everything!

Hidden Treasures is exactly what this store is! I just popped in to look around, and I managed to redecorate my daughters apartment! The ladies we so helpful, and everything was delivered this afternoon! I will definitely go back next time I am in Charlotte. Thank you all for everything!

The staff was friendly and helpful. I just purchased a home and Im trying to furnish it with fun thrift store finds. I was able to get a couch, new Target brand rugs and pillows, and a side table at extremely reasonable prices. They are delivering the couch for what I consider to be a reasonable price since I dont have the ability to move it myself. Great experience and the corgi who works there is a sweetheart.

I love this store! It usually brings me peace because I love unique, thrifted items and the selection here is amazing. However, today, I overheard a conversation between an employee (who I believe may actually be the owner?) and a customer about how they hate wearing masks. The employee was not wearing a mask when I walked in, and not wearing a mask when she was checking me out and talking to me. It worries me even more how clean the store is if she could not even accept wearing a mask while sitting. If they dont follow a simple mask order, are they sanitizing the store? The baskets? Are they following *any* COVID-19 guidelines to keep people safe? Masks are to protect other people! Not yourself! This is the biggest misunderstanding/oversight of anti-maskers and either this woman, who is running a small business that I used to love, has little empathy for others or simply does not know what the masks are for in the first place. So, either she has completely ignored anything anyone has ever said about masks, or she simply does not care about her community or her patrons. This experience was wildly upsetting, seeing as how weve had 500,000+ deaths from COVID-19, the highest of any developed nation because of people like her. She and the customer were even discussing how they disapproved of the vaccine and do not plan on getting it. In my visit to this store before today, another employee was having a long, emotional conversation with a customer about how crushing it has been to lose people to COVID-19. The difference in philosophies is astounding and clearly shows that one of these women is more caring than the other. I will not be shopping here again, as it shows how different our values are. I cannot support this store. I will be calling the city about this violation.

Love this place!! They get new stuff all the time. I find the best things for my apartment here! Way better then Goodwill or the Salvation Army They have Sanitizer stations at the entrance/ exit of the building. Good parking. Fair prices.

This review is for Hidden Treasures clean out and consignment services, which I highly recommend. We had them clean out my mothers three bedroom apartment (with LOTS of stuff in it) on a holiday, no less. Catherine and crew did the job in a little over two hours. After that they put several items on consignment with very good results. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Random mans thoughts. I see a lot of people complaining about the estate sales end of the business. For starters, your nightstand isnt worth $400 just because grandma gave it to you. People need to stop thinking that. If you think its worth that then try selling it on facebook. Next, its an auction. People like myself are trying to buy it most likely for resale. Were not gonna pay full value. You will almost never get full value from an auction. Stop crying when you know the deal ahead of time. Youre not getting ripped off.

I had an all around bad experience with this store. The sold me a chainsaw and it never worked, I spent $20 on oil gas etc. after returning they told me, they’ll credit me card. And they never did, when I asked them, the manager claimed that it is a bank problem and resolve it with the bank.

I inherited a small antique from my grandmother and I reached out to Sleepy Poet Antique Mall to inquire about dealers and they pointed me in the direction of Hidden Treasures. I tried to call them at first to inquire about selling the antique but they did not answer their phone so I decided to go in and the woman sitting up front was very rude and nasty about me selling my antique. She told me that they only do consignment and they dont do smalls, didnt even look at me when I talked to her or invite me in to look around, who runs a business like that? I WILL NEVER be going back to this place and I advise you not to waste your time or money here, apparently the dog is a distraction from their poor customer service. I recommend sleepy poet down the street, at least their staff treats you like you are there.

Very interesting thrift store. It is great for digging out some old but good books. They are everywhere! The staff is friendly, and, overall the store is packed of stuff and fairly organized. Worth checking out if you like to treasure hunt. :-)

A good place for odd finds. Have a room that just needs something else but you have no idea what? This is a good start. As with most stores like this, a constant revisit is the key to a great find and the prices are more than reasonable.

It is convenient for me,and they get new stuff in on a daily basis. Also they are willing to negotiate on prices. They also have a weakly drawing for a 50$ store credit. Each time I visit,I always find something that I just cant do without.

Amazing place with great hidden treasures. Very nice guy running the place and theyre very willing to wheel and deal. I make it a point to go here at least once or twice a week and NEVER leave empty handed. Must go!

Not easy to shop. Everything is just thrown out onto the sales floor with no organization. Items are way over priced, especially for a thrift store.

I have been shopping at Hidden Treasures for a couple of years. They have gone through several transformations and each one has been an improvement. You need only ask if a price is negotiable and you will get a straight answer. They will call the vendor and get an answer usually while I shop around. I have gotten several great deals and enjoy going in during my lunch hour. I have not needed to have anything put on hold, I know if I dont buy something when I see it, it might be gone later that day!

I own this business and we have a very good reputation. Great prices and quality items and we even deliver. I wish when people write bad reviews they tell the full story. Customer service is our number one priority. Check us out you will become a regular customer as new items come in every day and the lowest prices around. Period....

Left several messages regarding an estate sale hidden treasures did for my mother. Hidden treasures does not return phone calls, answer the phone, or give a list of the items they sold with the prices. Very unprofessional, beware of working with them.*5/2/2021* “new” owner finally replied after my review being up for two years.It’s nice that there’s a new owner, but no compensation or reparation offer has been made to my mother who lost THOUSANDS of dollars to this store.

Nice little shop to look around

Was looking for a blender, called the person answered said they might, I stated I was coming from quite a distance and pressed for time, I was told just come by and see we have different vendors every day dropping different things. Poor communication and unnecessary driving for me due to employee not wanting to look. Definitely will not return!!!

We love this place! They love the candles we make and are nice enough to carry them for us. They are handmade and scented and one of kind. They have plenty of different stuff to look at and the prices are very reasonable. The owner and his daughter Cat have a warming helpful knowledable attitude. #thacandleman. Do not shop here! Dishonest and money grubbing. The manager told me the employee Pastor Francisco Fatima Gonzalez was not employed by him but he allows her to check people out and take their money. I offered to pay for the table I wanted but was told Fatima would HOLD it so my boyfriend could take a look at it. I asked if I could pay by phone and was told yes I had till 6pm. At 5:35 my boy friend called to tell me Fatima tried to sell him the same table for a hundred dollars more then what she quoted me. When I called up Fatima she told me she could not hold the table and it was already sold. The manager stated the table was still in the store but he would not allow me to purchase it and would give me a good deal on something else. I find it amusing that he witnessed the entire encounter between Fatima and I and never stepped in to correct her or ask me to pay. Im now told hes store does not hold items and they must be paid for to hold.This store is full of broken , dirty and misused items. If you find something with a price Fatima will try to wiggle out of the purchase if she thinks she can get a high price for the item. I was also accused of switching tags on a purse which she refused to sell until she called the person who owned the booth to confirm it was the right price.Its sad that neither the manager or Pastor Fatima respect their customers. Worst Thrift Store In The City!!!!!Id give it zero stars if I could.

Its a cool place.Its like a bunch of garage sell.The prices are a little on the high price.

Tom is a very nice guy let me start off by saying that. But his estate sale side of the business is not very good at all. We had a 2600 sq ft house full of furniture with alot of extra furniture as well that we were living in. We live in South Park. 4 bedrooms the only items we took from them were 2 beds and a mirror and 2 side tables. We left everything else. 1 living room that had a couch 2 chairs bar bar stools art/pictures on all the walls, all furniture was in decent shape. dining room with pictures, kareo cabinet and an entire 6 person dining room table with leaf, it had a few scratches but a very nice piece. kitchen had a table and 4 chairs, small TV, stainless steel fridge which sold for $700 and a bunch of kitchen items. back porch with a 6 person aluminum tables and chairs that was in very good condition. 2nd living room with couch, love seat recliner, poker/bumper pool table all in very good condition as well as picture on walls. extra room with armories. we had so many small pieces as well. 2 lap tops, an entire baseball card collection, sports memorabilia, clothes, luggage, bike, and the list goes on. the weather for the weekend was cold and raining and that was the excuse i got. So lets just say an entire house filled and we received less than $1,900. this is after the 60/40 split I would not use them for an estate sale again.

Huge collection of items. Most of this stuff is in excellent shape, but its fun to poke around and see what you can find anyway.

My daughter bought an Armoire and a book shelf. All went well. Delivery people were very nice and punctual. Good experience.

My favorite place for deals and Quality Items

This guy took our furniture for consignment. A month later we call to find that he has no record of receiving items. After some memory jogging he says the mirror was broken at his store and he would not pay us for it. He also said that the european 100 year old couch and matching two chairs were sold for $100. He said he would give us $75. They were not the prettiest and needed reupholstrey but easily worth $400. I called again to find out where the money is and he said it was $50 this time!!! During our phone conversation he made condecending remarks about my wife. We never got any money from him. Do NOT bring your stuff to this store. You will not get paid if they even happen to remember your stuff was there.

A couple of months ago, I stopped by and asked the manager if he was shopping too and he said yes, when I bring things to him, that by the way in excellent condition. A stroller and a walking learn. He wondered how much he wanted and I told him that $ 20 for both of them and he smirked. Which I did not understand because the car is expensive. And he said it was dirty! He said he would give me $ 5 for both! Think because one speaks English as a second language, one is illiterate! It seemed in bad taste and I said no thanks he was talking to himself!
