Fun place to find candy from childhood.More pop flavors than you could ever imagine.Prices are a little high for most candies. That was why only 4 stars.All the taffy you can cram into a bag for 7.99 was actually a good deal. The taffy was probably the freshest I have have in years. Great flavors.Something fun to stop by if you are downtown Charlotte. Not sure if I would drive for this store.Again, the taffy was surprisingly good!

A friend and I were in the area and it was an hour before closing, so we decided to go in and check it out because I loved the one in Nashville. Upon arriving we were met with a closed sign and three people inside who didn’t acknowledge us until we started to read the sign. At that point one of them flicked their hand at us and rolled their eyes. It was completely rude for no reason and as someone who works in hospitality I am normally very relaxed, but this was inexcusable.

Huge variety of moderately priced snacks, sweets and fun stuff from a wide range of different regions of the U.S. We were just looking the other night while we waited for our reservations. The employee at the counter didnt really seem terribly interested in our visit to the otherwise empty store resulting in the loss of the 2 stars. Ill probably stop by again to pick up snacks for stocking stuffers before I head home.

So glad they were open. They plaza has lost over 24 tenants. So sad. Hope they are able to continue to do business. Thanks Rocket Fizz for your wonderful selection.

Place is closed up walked around for 45 mins looking for it to find out it went out of business 3 months ago but the google and Yelp says it’s open

Absolutely the single biggest disappointment of my April. Outdated candy very limited stock. Not worth it. Undercover Boss needs to go to Charlotte

Very cool new candy shop

Makes you feel like a kid again when you walk through the doors. So many cool things to see, smell, touch and taste. Toys, candy, soda, etc. Many Novelty items. Lots of nostalgia. My son goes bananas every time we go here. Pure joy. Reasonably priced on most items. Cashiers have been decent as well. Overall a clean and fun stop at epicenter in uptown Charlotte. A great bargaining chip for good behavior with your offspring.

Love the place... It brings back kiddy memories when you were a kid. It has all the old and new candy 🍬 🍬 along with all kinds of soda/ drinks. The prices are very fair (not when you were a kid but close enough). Theres lots of other things like metal lunchboxes, comic books, and little childhood things... Customer service is always amazing and helpful. The only complain I have but not major is only in the summer; the Taffy gets sticky and mushy from the heat coming thru the windows (would suggest moving them to a different side of the store..) but other than that everything is great. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.. kid and adult friendly!!!

The store just opened last week first week of August.the setting and music really have a nice relaxed atmosphere. there are various displays with the biggest one with just about every taffy in single wrapped pieces in the back of the store, just grab a small or large bag and pick and choose, fill to the top, they have no scales so dont fill half way, . The choices include well known favorites like Mary Janes, and tootsie rolls to many other tasty treats too many to note . On You tube they have a lot of videos in other cities similar setup inside the store.. The other draw are sodas ,think of any and they have it, including bacon flavored. if you go during your lunch hour, first eat, then go in , and take a good look and stroll down memory lane. but remember if your on lunch, watch your time, you might be there longer than you expected to be. I love the place and have already told my friends at work.

Great location and excellent selection of all types of novelty candy and drinks. They also have novelty retro toys and accessories.

Clean store 🏬. The girl on duty was very nice and friendly. She was helpful and informative. She took timeout to chat and give us information about the store and products. Theres so many different types of candy 🍬, pops, vintage lunch boxes and more. Go in even if its just to look around

Very cool shop in a great location. LOTS of different candy and pops. Unfortunately, the 2 times Ive been in their register was having issues and we sat in line for a long time. Really looking forward to them getting it all sorted out, because its a fun place to stop in.

I had a great time at rocketfizz. So basically rocketfizz is an international candy and soda shop thats in Charlotte, North Carolinas Epicenter, and its amazing. The deadpool statue is about 6.6ft tall

In general I love this store, but when visiting this location the employee sat behind the counter talking on her phone. It wasn’t until she needed both hands to ring us up that she put it down. Mediocre customer service.

Great little candy store. Bought a variety bag that you can mix and match whatever you want. All the candy was fresh. Staff was friendly. They have anything you could ask for with sugar in it and they had some stuff I have not seen since the 90s.

I love this place. So many different types of craft sodas (like 500 I think?)...

A kid friendly place apparently Godsmack likes it because one of their roadies was in Theyre buying candy for the band Sully must have a sweet tooth

What a fun place! With all kinds of retro candy and trinkets this place is a real trip down memory lane. From Big League bubble gum to pez and pop rocks there was just soooooo much nostalgia wrapped up in a sweet candy coated shell! Its definitely worth at least one trip through.

They have SO many different soda pop there. I got a cherries jubilee soda there and it was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful, they offer to uncap the soda for you!

This place brought back alot of memories of my childhood with things such as pop rocks, sundrop drinks, and candy.

Best place to get different candy like Pocky!!

Visited on July 14th at the Epicenter in Charlotte,NC at 4:25pm, during business hours. However, they were closed due to a shift change. A handwritten note, in yellow notebook paper, was taped to the door. How can you successfully run a business without prppro help. Management needs to do better hiring.

Very cool place to visit with your friends I always like getting something new everytime I go here also I think every soda there is made with cane sugar not all of these preservatives. They also have mexico origin sodas as well which have cane sugar in them as well

I did not buy anything because I wanted everything. They have the most amazing collection of sodas. I will return when I have more time.
