My artist was AJ , I asked for realistic shading in my leaves and got this awful tattoo … and many of the leaves have shading out of the outline! The shading was jus so awful and two of the leaves that are black was not post to be black ! Nothing about this tattoo looks like what I asked for or showed him HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND going to have to get laser removal to fix this.

I suggest calling ahead to request wait time. We did, they werent busy and had about a 10 minute wait for piercing. Bruce is a gem! Knowledgeable, funny, patient, understanding, personable and most importantly study with his hands! I will definitely be returning for other services and will request Bruceness....he made my day!! I also wanted to add very important, the place was busy (Saturday) clean and on top of the business. They were sterilizing e everything in between however not many people waiting not wearing mask 😷.

The most expensive and lowest quality tattoo I’ve ever gotten and my body is covered. Emily completely ruined my neck tattoos. I’ve been growing through painful and expensive laser removal because of her. I asked them for my money back and both Emily and the owner laughed in my face and told me the shading and Egyptian character was great work, told me to take them to court. Take my warning and go somewhere else 🤦🏼‍♂️

My friend and i got our septum’s done, i had gotten the man with long hair, everyone was professional and very cleanly. Ali though i think he did mine too slow as it hurt like a mother, my friend had gotten the women with orange hair, the septum was placed horribly, it’s way too low then what it should be! it’s common knowledge septum’s are placed high up. She did not give a warning if my friends cartilage was crooked or something so she couldn’t place it correctly, looks bad!

We went in for a memorial tattoo of our sons foot print and they took such great care of us!!! Mercedes got us all set up and was so sweet and helped us get the design we wanted. Mike did our tattoos and was as awesome! They turned out amazing!!!! We were first timers and he explained everything and was so kind and great to talk to. We highly recommend them!!! Thanks guys!!! I went and got a small tattoo done on my neck and received great work and great service. I came back to get a touch up to find out my artist had been in a car accident and been severely hurt. I asked the owner could he touch my tattoo up due to the fact his artist couldn’t be there to and touch ups are usually done by the artist for free. He proceeded to say he couldn’t give me what I asked for without me paying full price (50 dollars) because he’s a different artist. My whole thing is if it’s your shop you OWN in the absence of your artist you can’t touch up a tattoo that 4 letters long? Not a whole piece! 4 letters. Really argued me down about it when it would literally take five minutes. When I would’ve tipped half the tattoo price. That’s unprofessional to me and petty and bad business when I’ve came and got multiple tattoos and piercings there. I would NOT recommend this shop for work. I do hope Orlando pulls through and finds somewhere better to work he deserves it.

Went for a spur of the moment tattoo. I got Austin who made sure he got every detail I wanted right and made sure to ask if I wanted extra shading he thought would look good. Talked to Emily about future tattoos and she was very sweet. I feel extremely comfortable with going back. All the artists were very friendly.

Amazing service, my sister and I went here to get our nose pierced. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Emma and serviced within the 10 minutes time frame. Emma was super helpful about the cleaning process and very friendly as she walked us through since we were a little scared. I highly recommend and would be back in the future.

FIRST of all, when we got there no one addressed us. Got there around 6 and sat there for over an hour and once we finally got helped they tried to charge us 150 for a small finger tattoo. On top of everything else they were very rude. The guy who did piercings was very nice and professional. But overall just wasted my time!!!!

3/28/21 my friends and I decided to commemorate our trip to Charlotte by ending it with a trip to the tattoo parlor. Before heading on the road back to Hartford CT.I looked up a few near by and found this one and they took walk ins. When I first got my tattoo I was pretty excitedThe lady was a nice Venezuelan women who looked like Mia Khalifa and was excited to be working. I was genuinely happy for her. I liked that her equipment was quieter than your traditional tattoo equipment. She was calm so I felt assured. My tattoo was fairly quick, she took a pic and I moved along for my friend to go next. While she tatted my friend, my tattoo started bleeding a lot (I figured that was normal) she cleaned it we paid her (120 which I thought was fair) we left (I did get a piercing it came out amazing and thats why I gave this place 2 stars)The next day 3/29/21 the bruise Formed around and down my forearm and again I though it was normal. It started itching I would lather bacitracin on it (again thought it was normal) then the bumps started forming. I put topical Benadryl on the bumps cleaned it with antibacterial soap and patted it dry to then layer it with bacitracin but solely on the tattoo. On 3/31/21 it was raw it hurt I went to the walk in clinic they gave me antibiotics. My doctor (who is completely tatted) said I got a blow out tattoo meaning thewomen tattooing me was either heavy-handed or inexperience with the needle. So because of this misuse the ink was inserted deeper into the skin than it should be. Causing the ink to look blurry and smudged on the surface of the skin and bruised around itThe only way to fix this tattoo blowout is laser, a cover up or a skin graft.Im so sad this happened to me and the fact that it looks like I have a jail tattoo on my forearmI really want my money back to put towards a nice quality cover upBut people please dont go thereAfter many attempts I was contacted by a lady named Emily who told me that my tattoo was a bruise and that I need to put chapstick on itAnd that she will contact me by the end of the work with a solution (4/10/2021)ITS BEEN A WEEK ALREADY (4/16/2021)

Called to see if they were busy and got some snide comment and hung up on immediately as if they didn’t even want my service. Not worth it.

My boyfriend got his septum pierced here, don’t do it -you will regret. It was the guys first time doing a septum and didn’t tell us. We over heard him talking to the lady and she wouldn’t do it so he did, the guy could’ve just told us and we would’ve went elsewhere. The dude pierced his septum in the totally wrong spot and left my boyfriend in awful pain (despite him having a very high pain tolerance). The piercing is not only in the wrong spot but crooked as well. Septum piercings are supposed to be inside the nose so once healed they can be flipped and not noticeable. Septum piercings if don’t correctly are not supposed to hurt at all. Do yourself a favor and do not get pierced here. Friendly staff and short wait time but definitely not worth wasting the money to have to take it out, let it heal, and then pay more money to go and get it pierced correctly.

Great people and great environment. I got 3 piercings here today. I got my left nostril done to match up with my right piercing & I got my industrial done. I like my industrial but will have to get use to it. However my nose piercing is uneven compared to the one I wanted it evenly matched with. I got my piercings done by emma. My industrial has continued to bleed down my ear. I went to my original piercer & the instructions they gave me made more sense that the ones Hollywood Ink gave me. HI told me to to clean my industrial once a day for 2 weeks & i’m really suppose to clean it 5-6 times a day for 6 weeks. I would not recommend going here.Update: It’s been 5 weeks since I got my piercings. Emily the manager really helped with getting my piercings to heal correctly. Would highly recommend going to Emily or any one Emily recommends!!!

I came in from out of town and walked in with 2 friends to get matching tattoos. Kristen was awesome. Was very welcoming and reassuring to our one friend that was getting her first tattoo. Kristen did an amazing job and even touched up a tattoo on the same arm. We love her and will be coming from Michigan to see her again in May! Love love love our soul sister tattoos!

Very friendly staff with not much waiting time on a walk in, however piercing quality is definitely not the best. My septum is extremely crooked and going directly through the cartilage of my nose, with one hole being closer to the tip of my nose than the other. Hurt like a cartilage piercing instead of the 1/10 pain rating others have given me. Definitely not worth $50

I came into this shop when I lived in Charlotte a few years ago for 2 separate tattoos. Why am I just now leaving a review, you might ask? Because I’m finally getting them fixed and was reminded how bad they are! I’m up to 16 tattoos now from 4 different shops and would never recommend this place to anyone. The first one I got from here was spur of the moment, I’d wanted it for a while and happened to be going with a friend so I thought, why not? I was young and uneducated on the art of tattooing, but I had a pre-existing outline so I figured all the artist, Mike, had to do was stick it on and trace the lines. It was supposed to be a wave, no shading, no color, just line work. Simple as could be. It was on my back, so I couldn’t see it until I got home and washed away the blood and excess ink, and let’s just say, I was devastated. I treated it correctly afterwards and still, it faded so much that it looks like it’s 10+ years old. The bottom section is supposed to be simple shading and it’s so bad that people ask me if it’s supposed to say something because it looks like cursive.I went back a little while after and got another spur of the moment finger tattoo because I wanted to give Mike the benefit of the doubt, and I was having trouble finding other reputable tattoo shops that wouldnt cost me an $80 shop minimum (remember, you get what you pay for, people). The pictures below illustrate how it looked right after and how it looks now, one touch up later. I was happy after I got the initial tattoo ($50 shop minimum), and because it was my first finger tattoo, began to panic when it healed and faded to the point that it was almost nonexistent. I called the shop and was told that Mike should have informed me that finger tattoos don’t stay the way regular tattoos do, and I would need 3-4 touch ups before it would stick, which he did not. So, a tiny, $50 finger tattoo would end up being $200 when it was all said and done. They told me to come in and do the first touch up for free, so I headed down there on a Saturday and was told when I walked in that they didn’t do touch ups on Saturdays, which is understandable because of the crowd level, but I called ahead and was told to come in. Mike acted like he couldn’t be bothered to do it and traced the original piece like a kindergartner tracing something through paper. Didn’t even bother to make sure the line width matched or anything. Again, it obviously faded and I haven’t gotten it touched back up since. I could have gotten a stick-n-poke for better quality, and less money.I don’t know how this shop is doing now, and I don’t know how the other artists are, but I would expect Mike, as the owner and a respected artist, to put in a little more effort for paying clients. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Be warned if you’re planning on coming here. I just hope they’ve upped their game since then.

I went to get a septum today, and it was SO crooked that I had to take it out :/ completely pierced wrong. Had a breakdown trying to take it out because it hurt so bad pulling it out where she pierced it. Also she barely took her time. Believe me, I tried fixing it just to make sure it wasn’t just the jewelry turned weird, it was definitely the piercing.

My friend and I were walk ins last weekend, as I was treating her to a piercing for her birthday. We were greeted immediately by Taylor who was awesome. She examined a previous piercing I had gotten from another shop in the area which was not correct. She provided me with the correct jewelry and I instantly felt relief. Came here as a walk in with two of my friends to get a small tattoo on my finger. we were helped right away, everything went smoothly and all 3 of us were in and out within 45 mins. (they got piercings) Amanda was my artist and she was so sweet and fun to talk to. she did an AMAZING job on my tattoo. it’s been 2 and a half months and still looks perfect. although she told me i could come back in 4-6 weeks for a free touch up, i ended up not needing one! Jesse was extremely helpful and patient with my tattoo which had to be designed by hand. He made sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. After 3 long hours of sitting, the finished tattoo was amazing! I highly recommend this tattoo shop to anyone and talk to Jesse! All of the artists are friendly and make you feel at home. Had an amazing experience with Hollywood Ink. My sister and I decided to get matching tattoos and came to Hollywood Ink as walk-ins on Friday when they opened. They were able to take us there and then. We came with a design in mind but they made it perfect. Amanda took me and Rose took my sister and gave us the most incredible tattoos I could have imagined. They were so friendly and professional. The shop was super clean and we felt at ease as soon as we walked in. The pieces we got are fairly large and contain a lot of color. The price for each tattoo was very reasonable, especially considering the time they spent with us and the attention to detail both artists displayed. I would highly recommend them and will be back for sure if I get another tattoo.

Hollywood Ink is a great place to get a tattoo. The staff was very professional and welcoming. I love that they talk to you about your tattoo and placement before getting the work done. My artist Jesse was great. I got a prayer on my lower arm and he made sure that it came out perfectly. The lettering and style was exactly what I wanted! Very unprofessional. There was 2 ladies there, one pregnant the other one with a piercing between her eyes. They treated me as if they knew me PERSONALLY. Which was wrong! The problem that they had with me wasnt my fault. Its not like I used an older lady Id I USED MINE & they tried to tell me that it wasnt me because at the time (17 years of age) I was overweight. Im still upset about it because even though I tried showing pictures they wouldnt believe me still denied me service, rolled their eyes at me IGNORED me ! very much unprofessional! The lady with the piercing was the worst! She did my friends piercing and didnt put vaseline alcohol nothing just sent her out the door. The experience was all around bad . I just feel they didnt wanna do their jobs that day.

Amanda did my tattoo and from start to finish she did a great job. She was patient, communicative, and professional from start to finish. I would send any of my family or fiends to this shop.

I had my septum done here, I should have sat on my hands because I accidently grabbed the womans arm! Im so sorry about that! Luckily she did an amazing job at tapering it out, and was very nice about my mistake! It healed in the right amount of time, no issues! My only suggestion would be a little bit more details on aftercare but honestly a quick Google search is not hard to find out what I needed to know!

Very bad place will never go back

I went to have my daughter’s ear pierced. Everyone was friendly and prompt attending to my needs. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. Her piercer (a lady) was very efficient and did her best to calm my daughter. The process was quick and we were on our way in no time. The prices were reasonable too! I will definately be returning!

Very nice people and clean. Love my tattoo from there I had Boy as an artist and Im very happy with the way my tattoo turned out. I would recommend this place to everyone plus the prices are reasonable to.

I had recently gotten a piercing here and I did all the necessary requirements to keep it clean and it still got infected. WITHIN A WEEK OF VISITING. I called to see if I could get a refund because obviously if I am doing the recommended cleaning and my piercing still gets infected, its not my fault, and they refused to give me a refund and basically blamed me for the infection.

Originally went there because of the convenience of their walk-in policy and because they’re open 7 days a week. Their location made me think twice but we were pleasantly surprised. The people were friendly, the owner personally did our ring tattoos. Great guy, we had a nice chat and I would let him design and do any size tattoo in the future. He has years and years of experience so I’m sure he could design some beautiful stuff.

My husband and I got our very first tattoos here today! Lambo and Amanda were both awesome!!! They made us both very comfortable. We were laughing the whole time we were there. They both are very down to earth and did an awesome job on our tattoos! We will be back!

They were great! It was my first time there and they were very professional yet down to earth. I felt relaxed, I felt at home. Like hanging around with friends. 💯💪🏾Will be completing my sleeves with them!!
