I have been going to Independent Tire since the doors opened 1992. It was under a different owner but the service & professionalism are still superb. The service is high quality & prices fair. I would recommend all women to patronize this business for fairness & honest diagnostics. Fernando explains your options in detail. I will not take my car to any other car repair business.

They do good work on ur car grade them and send some one there 100 everything with ur car truck or SUV put on machine let u know what wrong with ur car go back to Church

So thankful for the honesty and professional service that I received here. I have had horrible experiences at different places in Charlotte and now i will go here for every and all car problems or maintenance that I need. Fernado took time to learn my name and I was shocked to see that he remembered my name the second time i came in. He also took the time to explain to me what was happening and how i could make it so it didnt happen again. Truly thankful that I have a place in Charlotte that i feel comfortable going to. This is a very good place to take your vehicle for repairs. Mr. Frenando is a very nice man and he will do his best to explain everything thats going on with your vehicle and will give you the faulty parts if you like just in case you should need a 2nd opinion! All of his work is fully guaranteed & he will work with you fairly to get a resolution that you want & pricing!! Me & my family use the shop for all of our vehicles when needed...never had any issues!!

Ive been to this shop many times and always come out satisfied with the services they provide. Ive gone to this auto repair shop on multiple occasions and the employees are always very straightforward and easy going.You ask em what you need, they get it done and when theres complications they tell you exactly whats going on, what they suggest, and give you options. All the repairs and inspections Ive gotten there were reasonably priced too.

In 2015, I found them when I was on the bus (because of car issues) on the way to my law school class. I took my car to their shop and they were super honest. They never tried to overcharge me or make something up about my car. And theyre really knowledgeable. A stand up company. Ive recommended all of my classmates and collegeague. Id give more stars if i could.

It used to be a good place to take your car to when John worked here now he has retired. I took my car in they diagnosed it said it was pulling up double codes so they reset it told me to drive it for a couple day for the codes to come back up. Brought it in the morning it was never looked at they said they will look at it in the morning. They called and said it would need to be driven longer. They are so slow with their service.

My experience at this shop was horrible! This place is a rip off. For what should have been a simple diagnostic testing for my auto issues, went to my car getting repaired WITHOUT my authorization. I was not given a thorough copy of a diagnostic reading to confirm what the issues were. In addition to their deception, they overcharged me for the diagnostic test that was originally quoted. People keep going past this place to finding a more competent automotive shop. I had no choice but to come here but NEVER AGAIN!!

I have 3 older cars and have been coming to this shop for 8 years.fernando is the most honest man I have ever met! Auto zone tested my car and said I needed a new alternator. So I took it to Fernando and told him to put it in. He called me later told me the car was ready and I owed nothing! He said he checked the car and would have loved to make the money but the car didnt need that just had some wires loose. I check prices with many places and an honest reliable mechanic with itegrity are few and far between! I love you guys you have saved me hundreds of dollors god will bless your shop for your honesty!

Took my car there. Took about 3 months for them to figure out and repair because my car is 1998 used and wires were all messed up. But they cut back on the labor cost and gave me a really fair price I could afford. No mechanic is 100% perfect, but these guys are good. I trust their judgement. Im having another problem so yes Im going back to them.

2 starts bc the inspection service has always been great. Other than that I would not recommend them bc they “attempted” to charge me $95 to put on 2 egr valve gasket (Mercury Sable) which only required the removal of 4 easy access bolts to replace the gasket 🤨. So yea - I agree with one of the other customers who got the impression bc she was female they thought they could take advantage. I asked the guy who looked at my car if I go get the the $3 part how much would he charge me to put it on and he said he don’t do #’s the guy with the cornrows (don’t remember his name) does the #s but it could be between $45-95 to put on the gaskets. When he said that my gut called b💩. I Contacted a mechanic and he put it on for $30...one mechanic said $20 but he couldn’t do it the day of. I could have done it myself if i wasn’t press for time. They cool for inspection that’s about it per my personal experience.
