Gail at the chapel hill store was knowledgeable and friendly. Returning unused product was easy. Though there was a paint shortage nationally the store employees were friendly and able to serve customers well.

I called up to this store to try to figure out what kind of paint I should buy. After speaking for about 30 mins to Alan, I felt confident about which paints and sheen I should use for my house. I’m a painting novice and so I had no clue what I was doing or what I should get. He was able to put about 20 cans on hold for me. Turns out I put in the wrong address and needed a Sherman Williams in DC instead (big mistake). Called the store to let Alan know. He was so patient and kind. He told me which cans we discussed and placed on hold for me so that I could pick up the same cans at the Washington DC store. I can’t thank Alan enough for taking the time to help me!

Gail and Josh at this store are absolutely wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable, and with a great eye for color. They helped me pick out paint that will hold up well with a cleanable finish that can be scrubbed when pets/kids make a mess. Definitely recommend this location and Josh and Gail, in particular, for your paint needs!

The folks here are helpful and knowledgeable. The paint is great and if you wait for a sale, you can get an even better bang for your buck. I would definitely recommend shopping at this location.

We just had a large part of our home painted with SW paint. I am very unhappy with the quality of the paint. It has a chalky appearance. We had painting done about 10 years ago and I was very happy with the quality. It is too late to do anything about it now but I will not be using SW paint in the future. This is a huge disappointment.

Im building a new home and have visited three S-W stores since thats what my builder has asked. Since I am someone who feels a bit overwhelmed by the color choices, I really appreciated being able to work with Gail at the Franklin Street location. Shes fabulous, and I feel much more sure-footed considering the choices that she helped me to make. (I did not have that feeling at the two other locations that I visited, but I was grateful that one of them at least referred me to Franklin Street so I could work with Gail.)

SW employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I had very important questions about our painting, project -- and the employees answered them all, created some Qs, and answered those too. Great resource and prices. I highly recommend.

The King of All Sherwin Williams stores.Long hours should get these workers wealthy. Sherwin hires smart people.This store is so busy, but the make time for your questions and consults.Great color coordinator and design person, and all the staff is friendly and know the products. What sheen or product for the appropriate surface.

Gail came to my home and spent time getting to know me and my vision for our home. On my own, I was overwhelmed picking colors for more than 15 spaces, ceilings and trim, but Gail made the process easy and enjoyable. She even followed up with a personal card and the samples of colors we discussed. So happy with how it all came together. Thanks Gail you are an asset to SW Chapel Hill!

I would tell them that the Chapel Hill, NC store has excellent customer service. Gail has a great eye for color. Bring in anything to color match and she can lead you to the perfect selection. She is also very knowledgeable on the type of paint you need for your specific project.

I received fantastic assistance from Tony in the Chapel Hill (Franklin Street) location. Several months ago he stopped by my house to help me determine the best concrete stain for my patio. I have purchased 6 gallons, and it looks great.

I wanted to use a bright color for outdoor furniture in an oil base paint. The person who assisted me spent considerable effort and time finding a color that would work--the options for oil are more limited as you know. She called the help line and determined that the first selection could not be done because of the character of the base used. She then offered several other options.

Our painters prefer Sherwin Williams paint and the Chapel Hill store provides good service. They also keep a record of the paint you bought previously which is a great help when matching paint. Gail provided excellent service this time. Their occasional 40% off sale makes their paint very competitive with Lowes or H Depot brands.

Nice people with excellent knowledge about their products. Because they only do one thing - paint, they seem to know all about it.While I waited for my paint to mix I took advantage of the chocolate/coffee maker - Great idea!
