It wasnt too crowded and they had all the aisles marked with one way signs so people wouldnt be crossing paths. Overall it was a nice experience.

Good location. Helpful staff. Ive been to other Food Lion locations that have a large selection of products suited for individual servings (I often eat alone). This location doesnt have that.

Some of their prices are are cheaper than -------,some arent. Thats a good thing seeing how prices are on the rise.

Food lion is great for good prices on all their products. I love food lion because they have corn meal which I use to make an African food called Ugali.

I never have any issues when I shop at this location. Shelves are stocked, produce is fresh, and the staff is friendly. No complaints!

This Food Lion was okay. They sell regular items at a normal grocery store. This is more of a lower end grocery store.

Absolutely love this Food Lion!!! It’s always spotless clean and unusual organized. I know how to find everything I need at ease. The cashiers are friendly and funny. Their customer service makes you feel all good and warm inside. :D

The lady who helped us was upbeat and then happy at the same time. Then we had to go back inside. We had to purchase a umbrella it was pouring down rain.

Normally I would give these guys a little better rating but lately Ive noticed a disturbing trend. You know they are famous for their BOGO deals or 2 for $4 whatever the case may be, which is great only if the discount is actually applied at checkout. The other days example takes the cake. CLIF bars were supposed to be 5 for $5, which is really good because they are usually $2.50 each. They did not ring up correct and guy was trying to tell me it was right and I had to get the Manager involved and well Long story Longer , I was given my refund of $7 and some change and only because I spoke up and said something. It makes me wonder how many pour souls got robbed blind on that one.

Great store, very friendly employees, plenty of great products to choose from would highly recommend shopping here.

Love my local food lion and especially like how carefully my vegetables were handled and bagged. It makes no difference to buy food on sale or full price if its bruised when you get it home. Thank you.

Clean, pretty produce, donates to local charities, friendly cashiers, only complaint I have is no Braunschweiger although I know supplies are low to nil.

Horrible customer service. Worker didnt even speak. Was on his phone texting while the customer in front of me was finishing up. The lines took forever and not one time was I greeted as I came up to get rung up. Ugh! Just horrible!

Other reviewers are right. The staff is not very pleasant. During check out, the cashiers don’t even talk to you. You will go an entire transaction without the cashier saying anything, not even telling you your total. I had to look up at the screen. It seems like a bunch of young people work here who don’t know about good customer service. They’re too busy on their phones.

Very rude cashiers that don’t speak to you when you check out and confusing store layout. Why is the frozen food aisle in the middle of the store and why isn’t it near the butter, milk, eggs, cream cheese aisle like every other store I’ve been to????

Was ok! The meat section was stocked pretty well considering the way it has been since covid! Their aisles are neat and stocked well for the most part! There is always several checkouts open which is convenient for in and out! The customer service desk is always quick to help and someone is always available They never have 100s in L&M red cigarettes. My biggest issue here is the cigarettes and also how my groceries were bagged this time cold stuff was all mixed in which makes it hard to put the cold stuff away in a hurry!

Poor customer service. I was not greated by the cashier. No eye contact. No thank you. I asked him with help putting my 10 bags of groceries in my cart. I asked twice. He said I dont do that.

The aisle markings showing which way to go are very poorly designed. Why have two aisles next to each other going the same direction?!?!? Otherwise, a nice store with nice employees and nice customers!

The staff makes sure the carts are clean and at least they keep the cleaning stuff out so you can also use and that give a piece of mind while shopping.

Foodlion had a sanitation station at the entrance and the. I got everything I needed. In and out pretty quick. Everyone had on masks.

Had the worst experience here today.1. Produce shelves were bare and what produce there was most was spoiled.2. Three employees in the produce section were standing in the corner eating biscuits from McDonalds and couldnt be bothered.3. I was planning to do all my weekly shopping there but only ended up buying a few things.4. Went to check out the cashier never greeted me, asked me for my mvp card, made eye contact with me, told me my total and didnt say anything to me when I was leaving.Terrible experience today! Wont go back to this store.

Shelves were stocked even during COVID but checking out was a different story. The slide for the checkout lane was on but no one was there. A manager brought a draw over but walked away and told the guy stocking bags to man the register. He seemed a little more concerned with brushing his hair instead of checking us out.

Do not shop here if you value your health. Several employees not adhering to state public health orders to wear a mask, with no social distancing in place at the front entrance. There is no way to enter the store safely as you will have to pass at least 2, possibly 3 employees within 6 feet not wearing a mask. I have reported them for noncompliance.

I was only disappointed with the wait in lineAlthough 3 registers were open, 2 of the 3 cashiers turned off their lights indicating their line were closed. Once we were in line at the only open register, the remaining 2 cashiers opened their lines again.Also, I was very pleased with the prices and variety of selections.

Of all the stores in the area, its my least favorite. Prices arent good, selection and availability is terrible, and checkout takes too long. Go here only if no other options are available.

Been here twice...not really impressed. Store looks/feels more unkept when compared to other stores. The directional arrows are not easily located. On one aisle they had two different directions. I dislike the plastic zip lock bag over the keypad(cash register). Im sure that isnt being disinfected regularly. Ive seen other stores immediately disinfect after each guest. If you could implement that, it would be great!!!

Great prices and selection. I wish they had a few more dairy-free options in the refrigerated section but I still found most things I needed. The produce all looked fresh and were very reasonably priced. Im not from around here so I didnt have a loyalty card (which is free) set up, the cashier entered a store code for me and saved me $30! I am very happy with my visit today.

Great service. Friendly. Just went in here to get stamps and use the bathroom. Bathroom was not the cleanest due to a dead worm so only 4 stars. Everything else was great and the rest of the store was clean.

Staff is terrible, rude, and unhelpful. Staff at the cash register standing around on their phones. You don’t get greeted nor told your total nor to have a good day, the cashier I had didn’t speak at all. I truly hate that Food Lion. I’ll pay a little extra money and will be shopping else where just to be more comfortable.

The Food Lion on Fordham Blvd is right next door to my motel, Chapel Hill University Inn. To me, its a easy walk. They dont have everything that the Food Lion at home has but, they have a few things that the one at home doesnt. Its very adequate for the staples that I needed, while I stayed next door. The cashier was really nice and friendly. She spoke to me like she had known me all her life. I really like that, she made me feel right at home 🙂

I only go to food lion now for friendlys ice cream and a few other things but today I saw something that horrified me.Stock workers with lowered masks, check out people whose masks were below their nose and had no gloves or sanitizer between customers (some of whom had no masks at all), shoppers blatantly ignoring aisle directional signs with no recourse...

Great staff, shelves are always stocked, good location. I dont eat fresh there, but I often go for WU and only once was the system down. -1 star only because they give me problems about using a customer card when I dont have or want one. (Corporate I was told.)

Probably consistently the worse service Ive even had at a grocery store. The cashier left the register in the middle of ringing me out and last time I was here the cashier snapped at me and was extremely rude. The only redeeming qualities of this store is that it is reasonably clean and has good prices.

Friendly people. They could use better training. I had a return and it took forever because lady didnt know how to do it and person she asked for help wasnt very helpful. Some of their prices are low. Some are not. You need to know what competitors prices are.

Nice store, plus they have mountains of bottled water today, right before hurricane Florence. They must have gotten a while truck full of Deer Park water bottles. Go get it while the getting is good!

Friendly & Tres Jolie!!

Yesterday had to be one of the most horrible experiences Ive had at any food lion store. I shop there regularly . This month alone Ive spent $300. I had to start instacart because income slowed down. Yesterday I had an order cancel. This sales associate Shana told me I could not return items. She was rude and keep telling lies about the policy. When I had asked for the managers name she told me Adam Spell. That was not the manager on duty. The managers name was Matt Burch. Matt was very helpful!! I apreciate his help. Shana on the other hand keep lieing telling me she talk to the manager he was on the phone with instacart when he wasnt. Giving out wrong information and had an attitude. If you have a receipt you should be able to return anything unless stated the other wise. After Matt called his CSM the items were returned to the original form of payment. Shana was just not helpful, rude and lied several times. This store has been going down hill with the customer service.

Only food lion Ive been to without a self checkout. Didnt like that I didnt have that option

Just like the majority of Food Lions in the area. Terrible service by people that dont care. 5 people standing in the Deli. One girl could talk to her friend that eventually walked away but nobody could greet me or provide me with the service I needed. Wegmans is Opening up the road pretty soon and you will see what customer is.

My favorite Market

Clean. Usually not crowded. You can find what youre looking for easily. Although I would like to see the employees not park in the closest parking spots to the door. Those should be saved for customers.

Usually long check-out lines and if they DO open a new line they will take the people that just got in line instead of the people that have already been waiting for 5 minutes or longer. also cashiers RARELY say hello or, God forbid, THANK YOU.. too busy chatting with other employees to say anything other than how much money you need to give them and sometimes not even that. i ONLY shop here when absolutely necessary. would not give any stars but thats not an option.

Disappointing. A guy was floor cleaning with a large machine. In three aisles he came right on me, stopped and waited for me to move, rather than going around, just standing there making me feel unwelcome. One of the stockers was on his phone the whole time I was there talking loud through his headset

I use to love this Food Lion, but since COVID-19 Ive noticed Ive been over-charged for items on sale. They had muffins BOGO and I had to prove to the cashier there was a sign stating this before he called a manager with a bad attitude to correct charge. I also purchased a sandwich from the deli that was clearly marked on package and the manager argued with me about the price then requested to see my MVP card a 3rd time, then accused me of having a bad attitude. Yes, I am now taking this personally and will find somewhere else to shop.

I was very disappointed, I purchased some french crisp jalapno,and they was bad, they had expire Jan,10,2020 ,and this is October,poor business, I call the home office they were not concerned with my problem. I will never shop at this Food Lion again, on N. Fordham Blvd in Chapel Hill. It sad when the assistant manager show no concern. I will be telling all my family and friends about this matter.

Went for a sale on Campbells soup.Canned chicken broth wasnt included. Regular price of soup is 2.19 or .70 more per can than Wal-Mart.

I feel like I always get good deals at foodlion the service is great and no long waiting in line store is always clean and i have yet to go there and they were out of something I lived in Wilmington NC then moved to Savannah and my experience was the same now I live in Durham and like everywhere else Foodlion is my shopping spot
