My husband has been in the UNC Chapel Hill Hospital and I love Starbucks, so I have been to this one several times. Each time the employees act like they could careless about serving me. Yesterday morning I ordered a medium plain coffee and a scone. I waited 15 minutes for my order. The customers who were after me and ordering complicated coffees got their order before me. Then tonight, Starbucks was completely, except 2 employees who were chatting to each other. I was not acknowledged when I walked in and waited several minutes before one of them asked to take my order. She took my order and left. I used a credit card and she did not bother to give my receipt, so I had to reach under the protection shield, to tear off my own receipt. I dont remember the last time I repeatedly received such horrible service. I guess the manager of this Starbucks doesnt care, because they have no real competition being in the hospital.

Drinks were great during our stay in the womens hospital!

My toasted white mocha, was flawlessly made. The line moved very quickly. And the staff was very friendly and polite.

They were already closed. Wed been in the hospital all day, and it had been a rough day. Guy took one look at us when we rolled in, made us a fresh pot of coffee, and told us to forget about the money. Good guy.

Okay, but staff (new?) uncertain about my order. Drink was ok. And, for some reason the new store lacked the ambience of the store before the hurricane. Could not put my finger on the difference. Noticed this store was hiring new staff. What happened to the old, friendly staff who were so prompt and courteous and quick to know just what was desired? Sometimes change is great, sometimes not.

The coffee here is almost always good and is the only location on campus open 24 hours a day. As far as starbucks go its just like any other; however, at this location they will not accept your Starbucks reward card here because it is in the hospital. Luckily this location is actually beautiful and has indoor/outdoor seating and a second level available with conference rooms.

This is my favorite place to go for good coffee. They make it strong just like I like it.

Very much a generic hospital star bucks location. The peak times occur during shifts changes so avoid at 7 am, 5 pm and 7 pm.Otherwise this location is good and offers enough seating for the crowds it can draw

Great full service Starbucks. Even if the line can get long, the workers keep things moving quickly. And you can get 20% off if you use freedom pay. Good luck finding parking though... this is basically only for people visiting or working at the Hospital.

I go here all the time, and they always make my order right and are very professional. Theyre usually super busy and sometimes the line can be long, but its a big place so thats fine.Edit: Downgraded to 4 stars because there was an older Asian gentleman working today who was extremely rude. He made me the wrong drink and when I politely pointed it out, he shrugged and rolled his eyes and said it had all the ingredients. Well I could put chocolate milk in my coffee and have all the ingredients too, but its not quite the same thing!

I dont often visit a Starbucks but it seems like every time I do, especially at this location, I encounter rudeness, impatience and a complete intolerance to my lack of Starbucks/Coffee lingo and knowledge of their menu. I understand that they are a busy establishment due to being in a hospital but it makes me dislike the company more and more. For what you pay for a drink you would think the experience and customer service would be a bit better.

To be operating out of a hospital serving the public, patients and hospital faculties this is an on point Starbucks. Ive have never been really a fan of Starbucks but the PRIMO service and quality of product here made me a believer. Bottoms up!

This Starbucks is inside UNC Hospital, so is very busy around shift changes (7 and 7). Generally very efficient, does seem understaffed in the mornings. The only good service in the hospital open 24 hours.

They dont participate in the Rewards Redemption program. I know this because the staff rudely informed me. So although your app will ping when youre nearby, staff will make sure your ingorant self is aware they are State employees and dont participate.

I work in the hospital, that being said i come here alot.. customer service wise is not always the best.. i say this even though i have had decent conversations with the staff..they usually arent too rude to me but i can see how they can off that way from first encounters.. the drinks are usually good they make them the way they should be made .. and they keep the hospital moving with caffeinated beverages..

This is a Starbucks inside UNC hospital, in between the Cancer Hospital and Neurosciences hospital. Employees from the hospital come here for coffee so if youre looking for short lines, stay away. The lines are out of the door literally in the morning and at lunch. People have asked about increasing the # of baristas and/or cash registered but nothing has changed in a few years. The coffee and food is your typical Starbucks fare but the wait time is quite poor.
