You get most of Indian items here except that brand choices are less. And certain masala are missing (maharashtrian goda masala etc) overall good

Spinach nasty on the inside. Why do you cheat customers like this? Big chain with high prices and low quality! Cloves itself is better than this, probably best among the worst.

It is a full scale Indian Grocery store. The store was as nice and clean. Certain items missed pricing but the staff was prompt to offer help. Enough parking spaces and good operational hours to do shopping after work. Just the brand diversity is needed but now they all have their own store brands so you may not find some brands that you are used to. But that is true with other stores as well...

Its the place in real sense of Indian Grossary Market Place where, so many varieties or brands are available at reasonable price.

Here you will find lower costs and everything is in stock. When I go there, the customer service is always excellent.

You can get all the Indian grocery at a very very reasonable price. I found paratha prices a lil more than general but overall tor the rest, i had say its the best!!That being said I wish they start selling Taro leaves too. Thats the only thing i wish I had which is available in India easily but not here

Bought this 2 packet of Aashirwad Atta on 26 Sept 20, as it was on sale. Noticed that the beige color sticker was glued on the packaged date. Later on found that the packaged date is 22 April 20 and on top of that says best before 3 months of package date. This wheat Atta has been used in varieties of food to eat and my 1.5 yr old niece and 8 yr old nephew does consume the food made out of the Atta. This is unethical way to sell their products whose package date been passed by several months ago. Need to report this and beware.

I love the samosas and fresh pav from the kitchen.

It happened to me couple of times already that i had bought stuff and when i open it does not taste good i feel like they change the expiration date or something i took the product back to the store and they refused to return and exchange it. The customer service is very bad.

I have been to other state Patel Brother but the one which is opened in Chandler is not at all par with other state Patel brother store. They mostly keep expired stuff. Recent day before yesterday experience is purchased BTW SHAKAR PARA and when we ate one of the bite of it , it was smelled like kerosene. I don’t know how they keep such product in their store. Need to have better service.

Best place to shop for all India related groceries

I have been disappointed plenty of times before with the quality of their produce, products or just general hygiene of the store (no sanitizers or anyone sanitizing the shopping carts, not now during covid or before). However, this last experience was the worst, bad enough to leave a review. I bought a few things amongst which I bought bread and Lays Chips. The bread had fungus growing on it the next day (no clue how long the bread had been sitting outside and they have no date on it to show when the bread was actually made) AND the chips had a misleading sticker on it because of which I dont know when these chips will expire or if they have already expired. Per their sticker, Best before 12 months from Manufacture Date and per the brand Best before 4 months from Manufacture Date. Unethical business practices to say the least. Because of covid, I cant take these items back to them per their new store policy.

Great variety of produce (biggest one I have seen at an Indian store in the valley). Clean organized store with helpful staff. Good variety in rest of the stuff too. Currently not much variety at their kitchen, hopefully they will start expanding that too. Currently you can buy fresh roti, masala chapati, thepla and parantha from their kitchen section.

The best store go buy Indian groceries and fresh vegetables I’m the area. I tried multiple places but I could not find any thy compare. I drive 40 minutes each way once a week because as I said it’s the best store around!

We went to church next door, Bethel Church, and visited Patel Brothers. Its clean and orderly, and seems to have a wonderful and extensive inventory of things that we dont recognize.Thats fine, because we have a better understanding now of just how much we Dont know about Indian cuisine and lifestyle.We bought some red curry, and will be using it with chicken this week.A peaceful atmosphere, nice folks, and large and varried inventory, should put this place on your radar for gastric exploration if youre not into it already, and worth finding if you already know and love Indian food.

An ideal place to visit if you are looking for variety of asian foods. They have a tons of options of spices and fresh vegetables as well.

Long time regular patron here (from the time they opened store here in AZ). Had an unsavory episode recently, but they resolved it although a bit better customer friendly service would have been appreciated instead of blaming the customer. Worthy letting that slide given a challenging 2020.

Good Indian grocery chain. A great deal of items and good variety too. There are deep bins full of vegetables and fruits too. Lots of frozen products, free snacks, rice, flour and other non-perishable items. Overall, pretty good.

Overall Patel brothers is a good store. The best part is they have very friendly staff. Second comes the product availability and third is their prices. However, worst part is their coconut section. So far I have bought 5 coconut and 4 times, I got the rotten coconut when broken. This is ripping off the customer and they should really do something about it. I hope Patel Brothers management reads this comment and do something about it.

This store opened a few months ago. It is nice and has many selections not available at the smaller stores around. They have a large selection of fresh produce and ample frozen foods too. Flour, rice, lentils and prepacked Indian snacks are available, along with freshly made Indian snacks for purchase, such as samosas. Freshly made rotis and thepla are the staples of convenience when it comes to Indian meals. So when I heard Patel Brothers was opening I made the 30 min drive from my town to Chandler just to shop there. I visited this store on Wednesday and purchased many items, to include roti and methi theplas. After returning I stuck them in the fridge. By Friday, they had molded. Picture is included. Only 2 days after purchase. So obviously quality control is something the store needs to look into. Maybe they can add a “packed on” date to the wrapper so you know if you are purchasing something old. I’ll go there again but be extra careful when buying the fresh foods.

Nice start, but far from Phoenix. Deals are not great, this place can be little extra price point in overall compared to other Indian Grocery stores. Patel Brother in Chicago is best. Must try once during any sale time.

Excellent selection of Indian groceries and supplies, their offerings of fresh vegetables and bakery items is a real highlight! Oh, and their bulk snack options are great as well, and they always seem to have deals on various items. This is now my go-to place, it is a one stop shop for all Indian grocery needs!

I have been to Patel store couple of times for Indian groceries they have fresh vegetables every time. They do sale every weekend on different items. Wide variety for spices, dry snacks, flour, teas and much more. Kitchen is also there with variety fresh chapatti and snacks. Friendly people. Must go for Indian groceries.

Bad experience this time. Brought Indian snacks and bread from the bakery. The pav doesn’t have any expiry date and got fungus the next day. The snacks are having damp smell.

Doesn’t cover all variety of things!

Ok so, I was expecting quality standards on produce. The raw jackfruit I bought turned out to be rotten inside. They cover the green jackfruit with some tissue paper which makes it difficult for people to look into the outer skin of the fruit. Also, the moringa leaves were mixed half fresh half rotten which wasted my 1.5 hours sitting through those small leaves to separate the rotten from the fresh leaves. I was expecting better ethical quality standards when it comes to making sure they ensure they sell only the fresh produce instead of trying to sell even rotten produce. Two stars because atleast the non produce section was fine. Overall, very disappointing.

Great store with wide variety if East Indian spices, groceries and decent deli . They need to open another location in West Valley as well.

Much awaited opening but most expectations met with on day one. Great facility for Indian community. Fresh stock and varieties are great and with reasonable price. Other Indian groceries will lose their business.
