This review is of my recent visit to their deli and bakery (last Saturday). It was a late afternoon visit and their hot foods in the kitchen looked fresh and there was plenty to choose from. I ordered the red menudo and it was flavorful, savory, and a little spicy. 👍👍The bakery also had a good variety of fresh goodies.

Enjoy going shopping there.But the only complaint is the pork rinds were crispy when we first bought them. Now try get chewy too soon after we buy them from the deli area.

Looking better now. Some remodeling took place inside the store. More space to walk around. Prices are good.

Guys please check for mold on your 3 leche cakes. This is unacceptable. They’re delicious but this is very disappointing especially since this was for a loved one’s birthday.

Oh, how I miss home. 😢 I’m from Los Angeles and I have had the hardest time finding the kind of market I was looking for. But, I think I found it. I was craving Pozole and I saw that they served it here on Saturday/Sunday so I had to stop in. Grabbed a pozole and a taco and the total was about $9, not bad. My soup was huge and I only got the medium. There’s a wall of bollio and conchas by the front door which made my heart flutter. When I walked in here, I knew. There was a guy outside grilling up meats that you can smell from down the block. If you speak Spanish that’s a plus here but if not, I think you can manage. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

This place is amazing! Great food for getting your true Mexican fix. Pan dulce, great tasting mexican food, fresh corn tortillas. And then the grilled chicken. Did I mention the grilled chicken?

El rancho has a solid meat department and also some pretty solid tacos around lunchtime, dont sleep on their marinated carne asada!

Good selection of Hispanic/South American foods. Owned by IGA stores. Lines are long, but they will have what you need. Did not see option for curbside pickup.

Very good fresh salsa, best Ive had. came back for more salsa and picked a steak, bean, rice, cactus burrito from the restaurant portion which was top notch also - Ive had cactus before but ive never liked it until I had it here. Next time going to try some bakery items and ceviche. The fresh tortilla chips are a little too thick for my taste.

I like to buy their freshly made tortilla flour and corn. The meat department lets a lot to be desired.

We shop here regularly. For the most part our experience has been good. There are occasions that the female cashier is rude. Often leaves the register and doesn’t say why and comes back to finish checking me out. Other than her (same reg cashier) the bakery staff is super friendly, the food counter team is always friendly, the meat department team is friendly...just seems to be that one rude female cashier. We love the food and the atmosphere. Customers can be often nice too.

Food supplys for the whole family and friends. Also Ranch market sales breads of bakery all types of shapes and flavors.

Went the other day in the afternoon and had some cabeza tacos and one tripa. The cabeza were delicious. The tripa was pretty good. The service was fair. I went this evening and ordered two asada tacos which were very bland, and the service was terrible. All the women looked depressed and had no customer service skills. I probably wont be going back.

The variety is a plus. The freshness is a plus. Handmade corn and flour tortillas soups sandwiches pastries it has it all

Given that it is in a grocery store, you have a good amount of variety of drinks to accompany your take out order. Their menu has plenty of options to choose, but they lack in putting together their food items. Both tortas and burros were just OK. I ended with mouth full of nerve endings a burro that quickly disassembled.

Best Carnicaria in the Valley. Their marinated Carne is not only the best around but its also the best price around. Amazing fresh made tortillas daily, a great bakery and lunch counter, and they make all your Salsas, Guacamole, and ceviche fresh daily also. You wont be disappointed coming here!

A truly authentic Mexican grocery store. Green chilis roasted fresh daily (buy a bag of still warm chilis at the registers) A large variety of fresh made tortillas (including blue corn, red and green ones, street taco size etc... ) their fresh made salsas for sale in the deli area are amazing I also love the butcher counter chorizo and carne asada. It always smells squeaky clean and weve eaten lunch at the cafeteria area and its AWESOME.... Also, the apple empanadas in the bakery are delicious!

Not clean enough,no sanitize to put on our hands during covid pandemic, shopping cars are disgusting

I shop here. Good selection and good prices! But please take note, the cafe inside the market is the real gem! Mexican female cooks prepare it all daily. There is no fresher Mexican food available anywhere in Phoenix. And the flavours are derived from fresh ingredients in experienced hands from south of the border ... enuf said!

Apparently Solo Carne means carne asada with rice and beans. Total FAIL.

This place has a fantastic Mexican bakery. Their prices are reasonable and they have really good service. The store is usually pretty crowded and it helps to know Spanish to get the most out of it.

They had the produce I needed. Its a pretty standard mercado. The fresh tortillas and baked goods looked fantastic. I wish it was closer to my house!

I like this place. The fresh cooked food is good. The staff has never been anything but pleasant to me as a non-latino. There are English and Spanish speaking employees. The confection cabinet is always sold out late in the day. Which means I have to stop by early in the day of i want to try anything! Their advertised specials are usually quite good. I mainly go here to get the Latin American food items the other grocery stores do not carry. I also go here for the produce. They usually have better prices on things like cucumbers, Chiles, and onions.

Good store but many items are not that great of deal in comparison to other discount grocery stores like Winco. The Hispanic food selection is good, but beat by Food City across the street.

This place discriminates against combat veterans. Also an unlicensed security guard. You all need to read up on the city of Chandlers exemption and Maricopa County exemption! Also breaking ADA laws. Filled complaint with the city next, state & feds

Fresh food. Customer service is good. There is a lady who works making tortillas that is very friendly that would make this place to be almost 5 stars ; however, the lady who helps you with the bread does not deserve even 1 star because she does no have have a good attitude when helping customers.

I went for carne asada and the butcher did a great job helping me pick the meat and even offered to put it in the marinade. I bought 2 pounds and it turned out amazing!! Ill be going back for more.

I had ordered a cake for my baby shower from here, and it was a complete disaster. They messed up my order not once or twice, but 3 different times and waited until an hour before I was supposed to pick it up to tell me. On top of that, I was told it would be an extra $8 for the filling, which I had no problem paying, until I get there and they tell me that Cynthia messed up my order and it was actually going to be an extra $30, when I had already paid $40 for the cake. I told them 2 weeks in advance that I wanted a raspberry creme filling and they said they would special order it, then call me the day of and say that they didnt order it and that I needed to chose between the other fillings they actually did have. Then when I pick up the cake, they didnt even write anything on it, like I had asked them too. So not only did they charge me an extra $30 or get the right filling, they left the cake completely blank, when I told them that I wanted the cake to say and look exactly how they had it in their book. Also, I had called them and spoke with them the day before I was supposed to pick up the cake to see if I could pick it up a little bit earlier and they said that would be fine, so why would they wait until the day of to tell me all of the mistakes they had made. The manager apparently wasnt there when I picked up the cake and all of the workers just kept saying the same thing, Cynthia messed it up, its her fault. She took the order. So I will certainly not be going back to this place ever again because they are unprofessional and couldnt handle a simple task.

Cashier was rude and I got a cake made there dident get what I wanted.

Cashier in the bakery department was rude. She advised me to wait because she was going to help another customer who wanted to pay. When I looked around for this customer, it seem to me because she was on her phone that she was not ready. There was a line of customers ready to pay. The cashier #3189 told all of us to wait. I said No, she is not ready because shes on her phone. If she was then she should get off her phone and pay attention. I made her ring me out. Very rude n no customer service.

Disappointing you told me the have to come back tomorrow because they do not have the me that I needed and I came all the way from Florence to get it And it was only 430 by disappointin But I will say this I will come back and hopefully that they will have anough meat products there a specially that going in Nevada..

Carne Assada in the meat department is worth the price. Also caters more to Puerto Rican/Dominican foods than food city across the street.

We only go because my husband likes the food but the security guard is rude and made us pay twice for a soda that we had already paid, he then continued to harrass us when we went back, he even sent someone to jail for a pack of tortillas. The manager was advised of all of these issues and she didnt even know this was going on in her store, her name is Cynthia Felix. The first time I talked to her she told me she would talk to the guard and call me back, she never did. I had to call her about the incident with the arrest because my husband saw everything, she didnt know about it but then tried to say the guard was managed separately but she would see what happened. How could a manager not be aware of things going on in her store? Horrible just horrible service... Good food though 😐

They have a variety of Mexican foods,sell produce at good prices,have a little indoor cafe that serves traditional Mexican.They roast their own peppers usually hatch Chiles and sell by small bags,very good tasting and fresh.

My go to place for cooked mexican food, sweet bread , meats and cheeses. Love the Ranch Market.
