I loved my experience today. Gonzo helped me with finding my frames and maneuvering through the craziness of insurance. He was very helpful, and kind to me and my daughter. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent service by the staff here at Visionworks in Chandler Mall. We made an appt at a store we thought was here, wasn’t. The staff of tech named Willl and a lady I didnt get the name of were focused on doing everything they could- assisting us in locating our appt, then worked out an very convenient opening. Willl also was very concise with all our questions. Now THAT’s excellent service!!

I had wonderful doctors, but the real magic happened when I met David to pick out frames. I picked out 3 frames I liked and he helped me to pick the ones that looked the best on my face! David is very knowledgeable and turned a good experience into a great one! Thanks David!!

Dr. Judith Harvey is amazing. She understands my eyes and offers vitamins to keep them healthy and reviews the eye 👁‍🗨 retinal imaging which is the latest way to see the health of your eyes. In the front desk, Jennifer Gwinn was super helpful and fun to try out colored prescription contacts with me for the first time to make the best choice. Enjoyed my visit. If I could give 0 stars I would! By far the worst. I walked in and was pushed aside so a Caucasian family that walked in behind me could be helped first. Then had the nerve to ask have I been helped. After an hour of waiting, friends of the Dr came in and were in the back laughing having a great time while half a dozen patients were waiting. Definitely not the place to go to if you’re a minority

This was a great experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was very friendly and followed their Covid19 protocol. During my wait to see the Dr. I was able to pick out some frames. After my eye exam, I sat with Tim Torrez, who helped me select the best frame, from the several I had selected, for me and my prescription. We were there almost an hour after closing, and Tim was very patient and helpful. More businesses need professionals like Tim and the other staff at this store!! Thank you for making this a seamless process.

Great experience! We had went to a different eye doctor last month and they wanted to charge $300 for a childs glasses. We definitely will be going here from now on. Not only are the prices fantastic, the customer service is even better. Jane and Jennifer were so kind and helpful! Will recommend!

The front desk receptionist/ tech was amazing. She went out of her way and took the time to explain to me the cost difference in my contacts per my ins carrier fee schedule and coverage. She helped me with selecting contacts covered under my policy. I’ve been wearing contact for 30 years and never knew this.

This vision works had the friendliest staff that were always available to help, could not recommend this location more. The thing that truly stood out to me was the fact that when I was asking the lady up front for help with picking a pair that looked good on me, she gave me genuine advice and wasn’t just trying to up sell me. I wore a pair of sunglasses in that had broken about two to three years ago and everyplace that I went told me it couldn’t be fixed and I would just have to buy a new pair, so when she said she’d try to fix it after noticing they were broken I told her she didn’t have to and that they were unfixable, she tried anyways and heat treated them for about 10-15 minutes and actually managed to fix them. She truly secured mine and my girlfriends future business I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of help with their vision.

Tim Torrez is the retail supervisor at this location and he is very customer oriented. Tim works to make things right and exceed customer expectations. I appreciate how Tim helped me when I broke a lens of my glasses.

Poor service. I was on phone for 30 mins to set up appointment. No one answers phone call at this place. Also, we were waiting for 45 mins at the store to see doctor for scheduled eye exam for our kids. We could not order glasses on the same day as kids got impatient by the time exam was done.

The staff and Docter were nice. However, they were running behind and no one came to tell us. I could overhear the staff saying that they were running behind. Once we were seen we were so rushed. The Dr. didnt tell me about the change in rx for my daughter and I. Maybe Fridays are a bad time to go.

I went on line to schedule my 4 childrens annual eye exam and the experience was flawless. As we arrived at the appointment time on a Saturday we were greeted my several associates and they had the paperwork ready. While the kids were given instructions on the process due to covid 19 and given a tray with gloves they were still able to look and try on the glasses. The staff was very organized, worked well with each other and very patient. Tim and his staff are there to helpful and willingness to answer any questions. Thank for such an easy process!

Let me say that my wife and I are business owners in Chandler, so we can appreciate how smoothly a business can run. As an owner, I look for quality individuals that mesh well with clients AND are efficient. Visionworks on Ocotillo and Arizona Ave in Chandler has done exactly that. With Jennifer, Tim, Dr Harley and Meagan, this well-oiled machine is rolling flawlessly. I came in for an eye exam and to put lenses in my already existing frames. There was no back-biting at all. Rather, each individual meshed so very well with each other. You can tell when there are quality employees at an establishment when they speak softly with one another and smile. My mom and I were in for new glasses and had a great experience. They took temps and provided hand sanitizer to be careful of COVID. We sat with Tim for our glasses and he was great. He really took the time to help my mom pick out the perfect pair of glasses.

Everybody in the Chandler store on Arizona Ave was very friendly and knowledgeable.Dr Harvey listened to all my questions andand put me in the perfect brand and prescription for my eyes.

I made a same day appointment to be seen by Dr Harvey at this location. The reason I needed to be seen was because I had an infection in my eye, and the medicine I was taking wasnt working, and the infection was getting worse. I dont remember ever seeing or hearing about anyone getting this level of treatment at an eyeglasses store, but it was Saturday and I needed to be seen, so I made the appointment and Dr. Harvey took her time and really did everything she could to help me, including having me back the next day for a follow up appointment that I believe she squeezed in after her normal hours, which I really appreciate. I really cant say enough about the doctors willingness to accommodate me and to really go the extra mile, which included her calling around to several pharmacies to locate the medication I needed on my behalf as I waited. I will most likely make this my new preferred location even though its not the closest location.

We arrived at our appointment only to be turned away because they said their system wasnt working and kept freezing so we wouldnt be able to billed for the visit. Despite this we saw other customers being helped in the store which makes no sense. We had an appointment scheduled and even received several reminders including one just a couple hours before. It wouldve been nice to get a call saying they would need to reschedule before we wasted time and money driving there. They also did not offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience, just a sorry we will need to reschedule.

Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy; and even with all of the extra COVID19 precautions, my appointment was on time and very efficient. Everything was sanitized before and after every use from the equipment to the pens. I received a pair of contact lenses at my appointment and the remainder will be here in 2 weeks. All of the staff were friendly and professional!!

As far as covid guidelines it couldnt be better, selection of glasses was great and buy 1 get 1 free who wouldnt like that. But why I will not go back is because the service was not personalized, I was left on my own and the guy managing the store was to busy with other stuff, A BIG TURN OFF.

Dr. Harvey was very patient and attentive. She worked diligently to help me with my contact lens prescription. The staff at the front desk were courteous. I always enjoy coming here for my yearly checkup. Highly recommend you visit.

Dr. Harvey and the staff are amazing. I went in while I was having my first migraine and the staff cared so much and made me feel more calm. The Dr was thorough and said my vision had changed. She did send me to the ER to be sure it wasnt anything else. Well worth the visit. This will be my eye doc until she leaves. Tim Torrez helped me with my new glasses. Was fun, friendly caring and truly took care of me. Took his time and went out of his way for me. Helped me pick frames and lenses. I will never go anywhere else.

The ladies at the optometrist office were extremely helpful and friendly as well as the optometrist herself.Tim T. helped me out with purchasing a great pair of progressive lenses and attractive frames that fit my face as well as help with finding the perfect pair non-progressive dark lenses and another awesome pair of free frames for sunglasses! Since I do not have eye care insurance I as offered the buy one get one on frames, special that they’re having.It’s been a week today and I’m so looking forward to getting the text that my frames have arrived! Got a few more days to go though 😬😉🤓😎Thanks Tim!

UPDATE - Megan from Visionworks called me to rectify the situation. They have accepted the voucher and made sure to give us everything we needed. THANK YOU MEGAN! You have REALLY helped us out!!If I could give zero stars, I would. I was extremely disappointed with the way my daughter and I were treated here. I was given a voucher for an eye exam and glasses for my daughter. The voucher was given to me by the social worker at my daughters high school and as a struggling single mom, I was extremely grateful! When we arrived for her appointment, I gave the voucher to them. They performed the eye exam and had my daughter pick out glasses. Multiple times they asked me where I got the voucher. Finally it came time to check out and they didnt know how to process the voucher. They said they would call the corporate office and to figure it out and would call me when my daughters glasses were ready. I received a call 2 days later. They called to ask me AGAIN where I got the voucher. Then I never heard from them again. The social worker at the high school attempted to call them multiple times to figure out why they wouldnt process the voucher and they gave her the run around. She had to call back, disguising her voice, to finally get through to the manager she had been trying to reach. They told her they would not honor the voucher. The social worker found a place that would honor the voucher, but Visionworks refused to release my daughters prescription because we didnt pay for it. I am very dissatisfied with them.

Another great appointment. Extremely courteous, patient with my little ones, and there was a great selection of glasses. The eye exams were easy and our doctor was very detailed in her explanation of our eyes. Everyone there is nice and friendly!

They don’t take every insurance and for contact I had to pain bout $70 which not to bad but if you didn’t have some time of income then it would be hard to make that work...🙂🙂

I was trying to pick up my order. The message said: call the store to schedule your pickup. It took me a while to reach them only to hear I could come any time and had to call from outside. When I arrived, I called but after several minutes of waiting on the line no one answered. So I entered the store, there was no one in the front office. Finally a lady came out. I took my sunglasses off and I had a mask on (I put it on in the street before entering the store). The woman YELLED at me: Put your glasses on, put your mask on!

A sign at front says masks required. I walked in and the gentlemen working did not have a mask on and then informed me 5 minutes later I can not even look at glasses without an appointment. What a joke.

Dr Harvey was very thorough with her exams, and making sure that I get the right fit for my contact lenses. Am very happy with the professionalism and quality of service provided. Staff are friendly and services are provided promptly.

Used this place as last ditch chance to get an appointment. Felt rushed, gave me the wrong script, went back to get new one printed, was yelled at I needed an appointment. Man kept yelling at me while I was having my simple problem fixed. I wont ever use this place again. Ill make an appointment a year out at my old place.

The customer service is amazing at this location. Five stars. However, the quality of the lenses leaves a lot to be desired. There was a huge Halo effect on the prescription sunglasses I ordered. The lenses look very cheap.

I had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER at the Arizona Ave VisionWorks. Jane was PHENOMENAL!! She made picking out my new glasses/sunglasses actually exciting! I’ve never had that experience before. Jane has an exceptional eye for knowing which glasses are best to fit your face, and she has such a fun, positive attitude. Usually, it’s almost a chore to have to pick out glasses, but not here. The assistant that did the pre-test was friendly and helpful, and the actual optometrist was so sweet and friendly. The entire staff made me feel so welcome as if I was part of their family. I won’t be going to the one in Ahwatukee anymore (I’ve been going there for over 15 yrs), I have a new home to get my glasses!

I went 3 times to this place for a check up and ordering contacts. Some of the people working there are very rude. You work in customer service, Im sorry Im annoying you for legit trying to get my contacts. I would also see people walk out angry from there like I know Im not the only one. Thats gotta say something at this point. Not coming back. At all.

I had great service at this location. I had bought a pair of glasses from another store and they were not working for me. I went to this store and Eunique and Hans went above and beyond helping me get a replacement pair of glasses. I picked them up and did not have to return for any adjustments. I am extremely happy and will use this store again!

I scheduled my appointment online.Was in and out super quickly. Everyone was super friendly and I even got my glasses back the same day. (Went in at 9am got my glasses back around 3pm)

Just left the store about 30 min ago. I was in desperate need of contacts and though my original store at the Fashion Mall didnt have them, I was not happy with there customer service so I left and had called this one. I was in contact with Tom and he had done everything to help me out and was very professional and very nice. My family and I will be now using this facility for our exams, ect here and out. I went to VisionWorks on 3/26 for a regular yearly eye exam. The receptionists in the eye exam appointment area were more than friendly and polite and helped me through my first appointment as an adult. Things turned sour with the cashiers when I told them I wasnt buying any new contacts or glasses yet, as I needed to save up money. They basically kicked me out of the store once I paid the copay amount. My mom also had issues when coming in for her yearly checkup. She had Lasik eye surgery done, which was in her charts, and they STILL tried to make her buy glasses, even though she can see!! We will never be coming back here as their prices are absolutely outrageous, the doctors and cashiers cant read a chart, and the service was horrible. Save your money and time and go to a Costco or someone who wont try to take advantage of you.
